Das Datenschutzgesetz ist ein mächtiges Werkzeug, das gegen uns verwendet wird. Und wir stimmen diesem Missbrauch zu, immer wieder und immer wieder. Es wird Zeit, dieses Geschenk zum Einsatz zu bringen.
👉 Schritt Eins
Schon wahrgenommen, dass die Anrede „Sehr geehrter Herr/Frau“ kaum noch verwendet wird? Es heißt „Guten Tag David Schmid“. Und das simultan und international – ein Grund aufzuhorchen. Es wird uns die geschlechtsspezifische Anrede verweigert, während das Geschlecht ein wesentlicher Teil unserer Identität ist. Sprache war immer ein Werkzeug der Politik, wir wissen das und sagen Nein. Die Datenschutzgrundverordnung kann auch hier zum Einsatz gebracht werden. Das folgende Schreiben verschicke ich an meine Kommunikationspartner – mit Erfolg:
„Sehr geehrte Damen und Herren,
ich widerspreche der von Ihnen verwendeten Anrede und bitte mich geschlechtsspezifisch mit ‚Sehr geehrter Herr/sehr geehrte Frau <Nachname>‘ anzuschreiben.
Man wolle die Menschen nicht diskriminieren, die sich keinem Geschlecht angehörend fühlen – so die Erklärung für die neumodische Anrede. Dabei handelt es sich um ca. 0,3% der Bevölkerung. Durch die Unterlassung der Geschlechtsspezifischen Anrede diskriminieren Sie 99,7% der Bevölkerung, zu welchen ich gehöre. Dies bitte ich zu unterlassen.
Des Weiteren mache ich von meinem Recht gem. DS-GVO Gebrauch und widerspreche der Verwendung meines Vornamens zum Zwecke der Kommunikation.“
