An Algerian migrant who stalked the streets of Mayfair to target wealthy shoppers for their luxury watches has been jailed.
Abdulkarim Ienbuzir, 25, stole more than £100,000 of high-value timepieces during a crime spree in the capital last summer.
The 'systematic predator' stole a £5,000 Cartier watch, £18,000 Hublot and £85,000 Patek Phillipe timepiece from three victims over three months.
He tried to claim he was only in London to check on his asylum application and just happened to get involved with a robbery gang.
Aided by an Arabic interpreter, Ienbuzir, living in Liverpool, was jailed for four and a half years at Southwark Crown Court on Thursday.

An Iranian man, Abdulla Ahmadi, 25, and two Egyptian men, Karin Al-Danasurt, 20, and Ibrahim Alshafe, 25, were issued the verdict by a jury at Hove Crown Court this afternoon.
Sussex police say they have conducted a "fast-paced investigation" after a woman was attacked on Brighton beach in the early hours of Saturday, October 4.
