✅Many companies are part of an international cultural exchange program that is centered around the US State Departments J-1 Visa Work and Travel program. The US State Department's Summer Work and Travel Program brings more than 100,000 foreign university students to the US each year. 🇺🇸🏛
HOWEVER, I am not gonna share a simple post how good is it to go abroad and how many are there new diversified group of friends that you meet and places to see🔥
I am gonna share what are the drawbacks of being in Work and travel program ☝🏻☝🏻☝🏻☝🏻 (I am actually in program and telling these facts as INSIDER)
✅Facts 😐
1️⃣ average student from Tashkent spends in total 5000$ to get to 🇺🇸 and cover monthly expenses.
2️⃣ Average he/she earns from first job 8-12$ per hour and works usually 40 hours per week
3️⃣ housing expenses and food spendings are 500-600$ per month and transportation usually 40-100$ for bike for whole summer
4️⃣ every student finds second job after 2-3 weeks because otherwise it’s difficult to earn enough to pay for BIG bills
🔥Real Work and Travel 🔥
You probably think ok 40*12$ per hour = 1920 and + second job = 4000$ per month and - expenses = 3300 per month net income??
Answer is = NO‼️
Literally, there is no way to make 10$ per hour because of taxes ( of course if you are not in Tax free state like Delaware) , so it’s 9$ now and you make 1600$ from first job let’s say and after expenses it’s 1000$ per month soft * 3 months = 3000$ net income and you spent 5000$ so you lost -2000$
BUT After being hired for second job it’s usually 1500-2500$ net profit that you make per month and *3 months you make in maximum 7500$ which is 5000 your expense and the rest you pay for TUTION FEE 😂
👍🏻So this is again for those who go to average job by SPONSOR JOB OFFER and decide to work 3-4 months by this scheme.
Some silly people think that “OK I make 10$ per hour and if I work 10 hours per day then I make 100$ per day and it’s 10,000$ in the end of summer so I can buy a car now 🤦🏻♂️this is typical calculation of green guys who never been here 🇺🇸

🔴Most students didn’t earn enough money to cover basic expenses (contract payment)
🔴 30-20% decide to stay in USA as they didn’t make enough money as they thought 🤦🏻♂️that EVEN complicate visa approval for other people who are applying for W&T2020
🔴Left sponsor jobs assigned in contact (because of little money) and go to big cities making Bigger Expenses ☝🏻
🔴Have problems with Managers or Housing
🔴WORKING 10-15 hours per day ( some guys with no days off) and losing health for money they gonna spend in 2 months 🤦🏻♂️

To increase our security and provide entry-exit safety on the premises of our University, starting from
Monday, 14th October you should use our finger prints while entering and leaving WIUT buildings
(including halls of residence). So, electric turnstiles (tourniquets) at entrance gates will recognize only
finger prints…and ID cards for this purpose will not work anymore.
If you have some issues with your finger prints, you may refer to Inquiry Office to solve them.
However, keep your ID cards with yourself, especially outside of the University, and of course during
your assessment processes.

Since the launch of fingerprint attendance on tourniquets, data about previous attendance of students was deleted. So now attendance is counted from the beginning of this week 😄
