Dear students of QM,
Please note that if you received less than 30 marks for any components (quiz or final) your overall mark becomes 39. And you will have to sit for this component (quiz or final) in semester9 (tentatively in June).
For example quiz 80, final 28 = overall is 39 even if your calculation says 48.8.
Best,
Omonjon Ganiev

Dear BiiE students,
The coursework and the criteria have been uploaded to intranet. However the date has not been confirmed as of yet.
Here is how you find the documents:
Intranet -> lectures and tutorial -> click on to get all available tasks and notifications -> modify search by finding my name "Azizbek Allaberganov" -> then you will see cw 1 2017-2018 documents and criteria (the date is recent)
Good luck
Best Regards,

Dear students,
Recently we encountered several cases when students were caught cheating with their IDs,
i.e. handing them to one another or a stranger to enter the University’s premises. We have
already arranged Disciplinary Hearing Panels and I just wanted to reveal that the outcomes
will be very serious…up to the suspension for 1 year (if first time) and exclusion if repeated
any other breach of our regulations.
It seems some students don’t consider this seriously, as if “it’s not a big deal”, “administration
will just warn and give some points”, etc…but it’s too serious and even criminal matter. We
can’t afford to “lightly” deal with such cases, even if they seem “innocent” and “naive”. After
all, we’d say that yours and our security is at stake…especially when strangers enter the territory.
So, this is just one last warning. We just want to be fair. Don’t get offended with us if some of
you committed such crime and were at least suspended from your study. Such penalty is
well justified.
