Thousands march in NZ against vaccine mandates & lockdowns
New Zealand's tough restrictions and Covid vaccine drive have seen thousands turnout in the capital, Wellington, on Thursday.
The country is now 90% fully vaccinated, but the lockdowns have drawn wide criticism over freedoms and mandates. Many public servant workers are required to get jabbed.
The huge demonstration poured through the business district and gathered outside the parliament building. Protesters were seen holding up messages with "Freedom over fear" and "Kiwis are not lab rats."
