H.G. Wells’s science fiction book The Shape of Things to Come speculates about the future up to the year 2106. It is not a novel but rather a fictional history book. The book is dominated by Wells’s view that ”a world state” is needed to solve humanity’s problems. According to Wells’s vision, this dictatorial world would be governed primarily through technology, with English serving as the global language.

Aldous Huxley, the grandson of Thomas H. Huxley, who is described as the founder of the ”Rhodes Roundtable.” Huxley was educated at Oxford and had H.G. Wells as a private tutor. He was initiated into the ”Children of the Sun,” a Dionysian cult consisting of the children of Britain’s Rhodes elite.

His novel Brave New World is set in the London of the future. The entire world has been united into a single state without war, and the global government was established after an apocalyptic conflict. Everyone is kept perpetually happy by consuming a fictional drug called Soma.

Alvin Toffler argued that society is undergoing a profound structural transformation—a revolution from an industrial society to a ”super-industrial society.” This transition overwhelms people. He believed that the accelerating pace of technological and social change leaves people disconnected, causing them to suffer from ”shattering stress and disorientation”—that is, to become future-shocked.

Alvin Toffler maintained that the majority of social problems are symptoms of ”future shock.” In his discussion of the components of such a condition, he also popularized the term ”information overload.”

Carroll Quigley describes in his book The Evolution of Civilizations: An Introduction to Historical Analysis the factors underlying the rise and fall of civilizations. The book was first published in 1961. According to Quigley, a civilization passes through seven predictable stages. The seventh and final stage also serves as the first stage of the next civilization.

A collection of quotations that, according to the compilation, show what the global power elite really thinks and feels about humanity. For example:

”All these dangers are caused by human intervention and it is only through changed attitudes and behaviour that they can be overcome. The real enemy, then, is humanity itself.”
– Club of Rome, The First Global Revolution.

”Isn’t the only hope for the planet that the industrialized civilizations collapse? Isn’t it our responsibility to bring that about?”
– Maurice Strong, founder of the UN Environment Programme

Bill Still tells Trevor Coppola how he came to understand the structure of the monetary system and explains why he believes that the creation of money by private banks through the issuance of loans is harmful to society. Instead, he argues that debt-free money should be issued by the people through their elected parliaments.
