For fans of the show — like myself — the Rotsun has seen many lives. Hot Wheels could have simply applied some extra graphic details to the #Datsun 240Z casting, but no… they went all-in with by creating the #Custom ’71 Datsun 240Z (Rotsun) casting. This custom 2-piece engine is truly special, as its something you don’t see on a lot of Hot Wheels premium cars. Hot Wheels designs are known for having character elements as part of their custom design, but since this car is a character in its own right, Hot Wheels had to get this one right — and they did!</code><code>Apart from the completely custom engine that was thrown into this built-from-scratch Hot Wheels casting, the body of the #Custom ’71 Datsun 240Z also has a few features that separate it from other Hot Wheels #Z castings from that era.
