Dear students and academics of America,

We, the Iranian students, write this letter to you with hearts full of hope and solidarity.
Your courage and determination in confronting the system and government that supports Zionism have inspired us to speak to you.

Now that you have taken your stand on the right side of history, and your voice for justice in support of the oppressed people of Palestine echoes across the world, you too have become victims of the same government that commits aggression and oppression against the people of Palestine and other oppressed nations of the region.
It is time for your student movement in the United States to stand even more firmly for truth and justice, and to resist the unjust policies of a government that supports the child-killing Zionist regime.

The painful issues of our world provide an opportunity for reflection and a platform for empathy and cooperation.
American students have shown that they stand with the Resistance, yet defending the people of Gaza cannot be complete without addressing the root causes of this genocide.
The crimes of the apartheid Zionist regime are the direct result of the policies and financial support of the corrupt U.S. government.

The Iranian nation, too, has suffered for decades under these same policies — from the 1953 coup against the popular government of Dr. Mossadegh, to the eight-year imposed war on Iran, the cruel sanctions, the ongoing aggression by the Zionist regime, and the assassination of the great Iranian commander, General Qasem Soleimani — all clear signs of this government’s hostility and hypocrisy.

Throughout modern history, the Iranian people have sought freedom and independence, but the U.S. government, through coercion and tyranny, has sought to block this path.
Now, we Iranian students wish to sincerely convey our message to you — the students, professors, and academics of America.

For decades, the U.S. government has spent the wealth and taxes of its people on endless wars thousands of miles away, in Asia and the Middle East — wars that have brought nothing but suffering, insecurity, and destruction to the peoples of the region.
The U.S. government is the main cause of war, sanctions, terrorism, and genocide in our region.

We call upon you — the thinkers, scholars, and students of America — to stand with us and with all the freedom-seeking peoples of the world against these inhumane policies of your government.
Bring the people back into the decision-making process of your country, and prevent the further exploitation of your nation’s human, financial, scientific, and military resources by aggressors.
You, too, like the conscious students and scholars of other nations, have a responsibility to liberate your nation from Zionist domination — just as Iranian students, scholars, and youth once overthrew the corrupt, dependent monarchy and, on the 13th of Aban (November 4th), stood firmly against modern despotism and imperialism.
