๐ท๐ด #Romania - ๐ท๐บ #Russia: A Russian Geran-2 drone struck an apartment building in the city of Galaศi earlier this morning during a wave of drone attacks towards Ukrainian cities.
Two people were reportedly injured in the incident and taken to hospital, with the impact followed by an explosion and a fire breaking out inside an apartment on the 10th floor of the building.
Romaniaโs Ministry of Defence (MApN) later stated that despite two F-16 fighter jets and a military helicopter tracking the drone when it passed towards the Romanian border, it eventually "disappeared" from radar. The ministry added on later that the drone could have been shot down, but officials allegedly "chose not to" intercept it in order to avoid causing further damage during the interception process.

๐ข ๐น๐ท ๐ฎ๐ฑ Ankara says Israel seeks to declare Turkey โnew enemyโ
Turkish Foreign Minister Hakan Fidan said on Monday that Israel โcannot live without an enemyโ and its government was now trying to portray Turkey as one.
Tensions between Turkey and Israel have steadily escalated since the Gaza war erupted following Hamasโs October 7, 2023, crossโborder attack in Israel.
The dispute entered a new phase over the weekend after Turkish President Recep Tayyip Erdogan warned US counterpart Donald Trump of โpossible provocations and sabotageโ that could jeopardise an initial ceasefire arrangement in the US-Israeli war on Iran.
โAfter Iran, Israel cannot live without an enemy,โ Fidan said in a televised interview with the stateโrun Anadolu news agency.
โWe see that not only Netanyahuโs administration but also some figures in the opposition โ though not all โ are seeking to declare Turkey the new enemy,โ he said.
