The Iranian spokesperson for the Ministry of Foreign Affairs, reacting to reports about the United States' request to deploy its military aircraft at the "Bezmer" air base in Bulgaria, stated: "Any cooperation in attacks against Iran will be considered, from an international law perspective, as complicity in an act of aggression and a war crime.
Allowing a country's territory to be used for military action against a third country is, according to UN General Assembly Resolution 3314, a form of aggression.

Greece’s Government Council for Foreign Affairs and Defense (KYSEA) is expected to approve a €3 billion ($3.42 billion) procurement of Israeli air and missile defense systems on Thursday.
The deal will launch the multi-layered “Achilles’ Shield” network, featuring Rafael’s SPYDER, David’s Sling, and Barak MX systems. The architecture is designed to counter drones, aircraft, cruise missiles, and ballistic threats, and will integrate with existing Patriot batteries, F-35s, F-16s, and naval assets.
Greek industry is set to take on approximately 25% of the work, covering command systems, maintenance, and production elements.

➡️ Italian security activity has been observed around Albania's Port of Durrës, with reports showing a convoy of Italian Carabinieri and Guardia di Finanza vehicles transiting the port on 21 July under police traffic coordination. Vehicles bearing KFOR markings were also seen entering the port area.
➡️ In recent weeks, repeated flights by a Guardia di Finanza ATR-72 maritime surveillance aircraft, occasionally supported by AW139 helicopters flying at low altitude over Albania, have also been recorded.
➡️ No official link between these activities has been confirmed. Plausible explanations include logistical movements supporting NATO's KFOR mission in Kosovo through the Port of Durrës, or intensified Italy-Albania cooperation targeting smuggling networks and other cross-border crime.
