Five Turkish Air Force F-16 fighter jets and approximately 76 personnel from the 181st Jet Squadron will deploy to Ämari Air Base in Estonia to support NATO’s Baltic Air Policing mission.
The aircraft will maintain continuous quick-reaction alert status from August through November, ready to respond to potential airspace violations or unidentified aircraft in the region. The deployment forms part of NATO’s ongoing efforts to safeguard the airspace of Estonia, Latvia and Lithuania.

⚡🇬🇷🇮🇱🇧🇷 Greece has approved the purchase of a multi-layer air defense system worth $4 billion from Israel, several types of drones and Embraer’s C-390 military transport aircraft.
Greece wants to build a multi-layer anti-ballistic, anti-aircraft and anti-drone system, called “Achilles Shield,” with Israeli radars and missiles from Rafael and IAI defense companies forming the core of the system.
Greece currently uses U.S. Patriot and Russian S-300 systems to protect its airspace, with plans to spend €36 billion by 2036 to modernize it's armed forces, this includes buying up to 40 new F-35 fighter jets from the United States and FREMM frigates and other vessels from Italy.
