We will open a drone factory here in September, but with the Israelis. We are doing this with the Israelis.

The Ukrainians are very successful and have many of their own drone factories in this field, so we will invite you here for the opening.

Can Serbia still count on Ukraine’s position regarding the non-recognition of Kosovo’s declared independence?

We respect the territorial integrity of our partners. We respect international law.

Therefore, our position regarding what you mentioned—the unilateral declaration of Kosovo’s independence—remains unchanged.

Likewise, we are grateful to our partners for respecting the territorial integrity and sovereignty of Ukraine, including, of course, that Crimea belongs to Ukraine.

Serbia’s position on this also remains unchanged.

A U.S. federal appeals court on Friday ordered the Trump administration to stop construction of the planned $400 million ballroom on the site of the demolished East Wing of the White House.

In a divided 2-1 decision, the U.S. Court of Appeals for the District of Columbia Circuit upheld a lower-court preliminary injunction. The majority ruled that the project—a roughly 90,000-square-foot facility—likely requires congressional authorization and that the executive branch lacks unilateral authority to undertake such a major redesign of the White House.

The court wrote: “Whether or not a massive ballroom should be constructed is for Congress to decide and is not a matter for Executive self-help.” The ruling has been stayed for 14 days to allow the administration to seek Supreme Court review.

Underground work related to national security facilities had previously been permitted to continue under earlier district court orders. The White House and Justice Department have not yet commented.
