βπ / π³ π·πΈ Crown Prince Filip of Serbia:
β
@balkanspectator β the leading Balkan news channel in English
Dear fellow citizens, dear my people,
Tomorrow is an important day for Serbia.
We are facing parliamentary elections, an opportunity for every citizen to freely, peacefully and with dignity express their will and fulfil their civic duty.
At this moment, I wish to call on everyone to act with reason and restraint.
Let us not allow provocations to drag us into conflict. Let us not respond to insults with insults, nor to violence with violence. Every citizen has the right to be safe, to vote freely, to have their vote accurately counted and their will respected.
State institutions bear a special responsibility, as it is their duty to ensure a peaceful election day, protect every citizen and guarantee that the elections are conducted lawfully, without pressure or intimidation.
We must not forget that we share the same country and the responsibility for its future.
May tomorrow's election day unfold in peace, dignity and freedom.
God bless Serbia and all its people.
Crown Prince Filip
