Probabilmente i numeri sono esagerati in eccesso esattamente come gli ucraini contano appena 200/250 soldati russi a Pokrovsk. Quanto al presunto blocco, dal punto di vista ucraino non è vero che la città è tecnicamente accerchiata, ma è palese e chiaro che le vie d'uscita rimaste, tutte secondarie, sono sotto tiro diretto dell'artiglieria e in pieno asse di movimento dei droni russi, quindi la fuoriuscita dei soldati ucraini dalle città appare già in questo momento tardiva.

Around 10,000 Ukrainian troops have been encircled by Russian forces in the Kupyansk and Krasnoarmeysk areas,

Putin held a meeting with Chief of the General Staff Valery Gerasimov and senior military commanders, during which he was briefed on the situation along the line of contact.

The military reported that Russian forces also captured a crossing over the Oskol River, cutting off the movement of Ukrainian troops. They are currently completing the liberation of Yampol, while nearby Volchansk is said to be 70% liberated.

A total of 31 Ukrainian battalions have been encircled in the Krasnoarmeysk and Dimitrov areas.

During the meeting, Putin ordered measures to ensure the surrender of the encircled Ukrainian troops and to minimize casualties. He noted that the Russian Army has always shown mercy toward its enemies and stressed that this must continue.

The president also urged the commanders to “do everything” in their power to ensure the safety of the civilian population in the encircled areas, who he said Ukrainian forces are using as human shields. (Source: RT) @LauraRuHK

Il presidente Zelensky riconosce la situazione critica a Pokrovsk ma rifiuta il comunicato russo di accerchiamento della città. Si sa che il comando russo aveva dato un ultimatum di resa ai battaglioni ucraini; l'ultimatum è scaduto e le forze russe intensificano l'assalto alla città e tentano di restringere ulteriormente le ridotte vie di fuga.
L'esercito ucraino sta contrattaccando ma a nord-est della città, le truppe inviate in soccorso a Pokrovsk potrebbero non riuscire a passare il blocco russo (non totale, le vie sono sotto il fuoco di artiglieria e nel raggio dei droni).
Nel frattempo, utilizzando la tattica vista a Pokrovsk, unità russe sono entrate a Lyman (Donetsk), per la prima volta dopo 3 anni, prendendo posizione allo scalo ferroviario merci e lungo una via di comunicazione. L'azione non comporta una conquista immediata. Questa tecnica prevede l'infiltrazione, nel tempo, di piccoli gruppi in posizioni sparse nella città in luogo dell'assalto classico in forze settore per settore. A Pokrovsk, infatti, piccoli gruppi di ricognitori/esploratori si sono barricati man mano negli scantinati di vari edifici sparsi prima che iniziasse a prendere corpo l'occupazione dei quartieri.
Nella regione di Zaporizie si nota una maggiore spinta russa: i tre villaggi di Novomikhailivka, Pavlivka e Pryvilne sono stati conquistati nel giro di 24 ore.
