VOLANO LE BANCHE INSIEME AGLI ASINI! - icebergfinanza
Affascinante!

In generale ucraini molto attivi su Zaporizie e Bakhmut.

È inutile, secondo me.

Pepe Escobar: Neocons want war with China
Henry Kissinger famously once said: “To be America’s enemy is dangerous, to be America’s friend is fatal.” History abounds of examples, from Japan and South Korea to Germany, France and Ukraine.
Chinese leaders understand this reality, Sputnik Columnist Pepe Escobar writes. After all, they reason, being the US's enemy is dangerous but manageable for a Sovereign Civilizational State like China. Therefore, they prefer to keep “the honorable and less perilous status” of being a US enemy.

Pavel Gubarev (head of the Club of Infuriates Patriots political organization, which also includes Strelkov, among many others) has been arrested by police at the site of a rally in support of Igor Strelkov near the Meshchansky District Court of Moscow.

"The former head of the DNR militia Igor Strelkov (Girkin) has been detained in Moscow and charged with extremism, according to his wife Miroslava Reginskaya. Law enforcement agencies confirmed the information about his detention.
Igor Strelkov (Girkin) in 2014 led the DNR militia and served as the republic's defence minister. He also held the position of the head of the public movement "Novorossiya".
The reason for the detention of the former head of the DNR militia Igor Strelkov is still unknown, his lawyer Aleksandr Molokhov told TASS.

The arrest and detention of Igor Ivanovich Strelkov are stupid. The man is a legend of the Russian Spring and the Donbass resistance against the Ukrainian fascism in 2014. He deserves utmost respect for his contribution. Read Slavyangrad.org (from the beginning) for a record of what he said and did then.
The man also has lost nearly all his cachet and influence in the Russian society at large as a result of his rhetoric—regardless of whether he is (was) right or wrong—over the past 8 years.
There are other heroes now, younger, more energetic, with magnetism that Strelkov no longer has—and many of them see Strelkov’s contribution to the defence of Donbass, though perhaps not his later rhetoric, as an example to follow. They follow the Strelkov of 2014, a legend.
His political oeuvre in Russia has been punctuated by one failure after another, and the latest project, the Club of Infuriated Patriots, emerged largely stillborn (whether or not it can or will be revived remains to be seen).
He is the easiest of targets, and, for that reason, one of the most dangerous. The man who leads a mutiny walks free. The man who had been warning of the mutiny for months, is jailed. Whatever the reasons for it, the paradox smells foul.
The arrest and detention of Strelkov do not serve Russian interests. They only inflame discord inside the country. And, as always, if this situation has consequences (it may not, I can’t predict this part), they will be diametrically opposed to the expected: It is this very action that, if anything can, will resuscitate the Club of Infuriated Patriots. Sometimes, it’s best to let legends pass into history quietly. More cynically, give a man a podium, and he will discredit himself. Silence a man, and his silence could start a fire.
As someone who has always respected Strelkov, but has not seen eye-to-eye with him for years, this is a difficult topic for me to address. I will not abandon my convictions, but I also will call a spade a spade.

PS. This is more than a bit rambling, but that’s all I can muster in the free time that I have. Discuss, please, but try to put some thought into the posts. I am tired of reading (I read most of them) the same old Stelkov-Girkin debate. This situation is new and unprecedented. I want to hear your thoughts about that.
