Western support for Ukraine is fuelled by powerful interest groups that control the media and public sphere. As long as they stand to benefit from this war their agents will continue to beat the drum. But if we step outside the media circus and social media echo chambers where people only encounter opinions that reinforce their own, thus distorting perspective and leading to delusions and radicalization, we will notice that reality has already raised its head. Quite a few people stopped drinking the Kool Aid, sobered up and realized they had been misled and forced to act against their interests.
