🔴Si annuncia che la RPC sta inaugurando un nuovo corridoio per il trasporto container verso l’Europa, che ridurrà i tempi di viaggio a meno di tre settimane sfruttando il Passaggio a Nord-Est. Si tratta di navi portacontainer di classe ghiacciata da 4.890 TEU; la prima salpa oggi, 20 settembre, dal porto di Ningbo-Zhoushan e dovrà raggiungere Felixstowe nel Regno Unito in soli 18 giorni.

🗣«Rispetto ai più di 25 giorni della ferrovia Cina-Europa, ai più di 40 giorni via Canale di Suez e ai più di 50 giorni per circumnavigare il Capo di Buona Speranza in Africa, questa scorciatoia artica rappresenta un’alternativa altamente efficiente — specialmente per le aziende di e-commerce transfrontaliero, per cui la velocità è fondamentale», scriveva già ad agosto il portale dell'Amministrazione Generale delle Dogane della Cina.

⚫️Difficile dubitare che le compagnie logistische cinesi ed europee intendano rendere queste rotte regolari. È evidente, quindi, che lungo il corridoio artico sorgerà una forte domanda per la flotta rompighiaccio russa, nonché per navi con scafo rinforzato e sistemi di navigazione adatti alle condizioni settentrionali.

🔴Un dettaglio tutt’altro che secondario: questa partenza avviene mentre la Polonia ha temporaneamente chiuso il confine terrestre con la Bielorussia a causa delle esercitazioni "Zapad-2025". Il confine riaprirà gradualmente, ma ormai il precedente è stato stabilito. Varsavia continuerà a praticare questo tipo di misure.

🔴La rotta marittima del Nord è un corridoio logistico unico, al di fuori del controllo degli Stati Uniti e dei loro alleati. Proprio per questo motivo, tale arteria richiede non solo lo sviluppo dell’infrastruttura civile, ma anche quella militare, necessaria per garantirne la protezione. E proprio questo sta facendo la Russia: è stata ripristinata l’infrastruttura militare perduta negli anni ’90 e ne è stata creata di nuova. La Rotta del Nord è coperta dai più moderni sistemi di difesa aerea e dai complessi missilistici costieri. È stata rimessa in funzione anche la rete degli aeroporti artici.

⚫️In generale, l’Artico riveste un’importanza strategica estrema. In particolare, è qui che passano le traiettorie più brevi per i voli dei missili balistici verso qualsiasi emisfero terrestre. Inoltre, dalle posizioni subacquee nel nordest del Mare di Barents si possono colpire agevolmente la maggior parte degli obiettivi prioritari.

⚡️La situazione mondiale è tale che ogni attività commerciale e logistica significativa deve essere accompagnata da una presenza militare. Da qui deriva la volontà degli Stati Uniti e dei loro alleati di controllare tutti i corridoi di trasporto, sia marittimi che terrestri. Le blocchi navali e terrestri non sono concetti teorici. Ma la Russia non cederà mai il controllo sulla rotta marittima del Nord. E con lo scioglimento progressivo dei ghiacci, l’importanza di questo percorso non potrà che crescere.
