Democrats are NOT the problem in the Texas House!
The corrupt RINO “leadership” that cut a deal with the Democrats to get power (in exchange for advancing their priorities while thwarting GOP legislation) is the problem.

: “It feels like the inmates are running the asylums in our public universities,” Harrison told the Texas Observer. “Taxpayers are having their tax dollars weaponized against them, their values, and their children by funding things like DEI and liberal transgender ideology.”
“Republican state Representative Brian Harrison’s House Bill 2339 would attempt to eliminate programs wholesale. His bill would prohibit universities from offering courses, programs, or degrees in LGBTQ+ studies or “DEI studies,” defined as courses that “promote differential treatment of individuals on the basis of race, color or ethnicity.” Universities found to be in noncompliance would lose state funding, and professors violating the bill would be placed on a no-hire list.”

: Rep. Brian Harrison took to social media Wednesday afternoon alleging the office would increase state spending by around $130 million. Harrison posted a video of a heated exchange he had with state Rep. Giovanni Capriglione, who sponsored the bill, over the plan to create the office. Harrison, in a post made to X April 15, labeled the bill "DOGE ... Democrat Style!"
"As your answer elucidates, its growing government," Harrison said to Capriglione in the video. "It's creating a new agency. It's adding employees and expanding the bureaucracy."

Texans voted for Republican leadership, less government, lower taxes… and Trump!

Swimming with my kids this morning and they asked about government…
I just finished explaining to them that for government to spend even one dollar, it must commit THEFT…
They’re now more qualified to hold public office than almost anyone in Austin.

Myth: “the Texas legislature slashed property taxes last session”
Fact: property taxes went UP
Myth: “the state does not levy property taxes; only local governments do”
Fact: local governments are political subdivisions of the STATE
Myth: “all property tax increases are voter approved”
Fact: the vast majority of property tax increases happen WITHOUT voter approval.

: “I do not know what part of stop-growing-government-and give people-back-their-money this body clearly does not understand,” Rep. Brian Harrison (R-Midlothian) said in a speech addressing the Texas House.
He decried the bill as “corporate welfare on steroids,” claiming that “We are going to make government contractors very rich, while it’s very unlikely we’re going to find a cure for dementia as a result of this bill.”
“I want to be clear about this, I trust free markets, I trust free people, and I trust free enterprise far more than I trust government bureaucrats,” he added.

Good morning, Texas.
This session the Texas House has increased funding for DEI, gender indoctrination, and corporate welfare.
And the $24 billion “surplus” of YOUR money will be used to fund it.
That means real property tax relief/elimination is unlikely.
Betrayal!

PRIORITIES: The Texas House just passed ANOTHER bill on vanity license plates!
I believe this is the 3rd bill (at least) on these… and we still haven’t done anything serious on property taxes.
Texans, you’ve been betrayed.

🚨Texas House "leadership" just voted to spend ONE BILLION DOLLARS a year to grow government instead of cutting property taxes!
They can't spend YOUR MONEY fast enough.
I objected (before most Republicans joined the Democrats to pass it).

Good morning! Just because the Texas House hasn’t delivered property tax cuts or passed GOP priorities doesn’t mean we’ve done nothing!
Here’s some “accomplishments:”
grown government
increased spending
criminalized memes
funded DEI
massively expanded corporate welfare
honored Beyonce, Pakistan day, and Zoroastrianism
passed hundreds of Democrat bills
created new vanity license plates
spent almost all the $24B surplus on liberal pet projects
funded liberal gender indoctrination
excepted governments from the gas tax that YOU have to pay
gave millions to liberal Hollywood
passed a “DOGE” bill that makes Texas courts more liberal than federal courts
exploded the size and power of the bureaucracy

FACT: Texas House “leadership” are a bunch of childish RINOs who empower Democrats and don’t give a damn about taxpayers.
Texans deserve real leadership who will cut government and put their LIBERTY first!
