BLM rioters burning bibles.

BLM rioters also burning what appears to be a cross. Christians who support this movement should be ashamed.

Elderly woman plays the piano amidst the wreckage following the Beirut explosion. If you’re willing, spare a prayer for those who lost their lives or who were negatively affected. Last I read, the death count was 100 and the injured 4000.

I’m not sure why, but this quote got me thinking that no matter how depressingly ugly our current society may seem, no matter how difficult it is to stand up for the truth and to live a good life within it, there have been countless men and women throughout history who managed to do so in the face of far worse. There is always someone who has suffered more for what’s right than we have or ever will, and who has done so with more nobility, courage and grace. This thought humbles and encourages me a lot.

I recently re-discovered this beautiful song, which perhaps some of you will love as much as I do.
