Hard to believe our Senate Republicans are dealing with the Radical Left Democrats in making a so-called bipartisan bill on “infrastructure,” with our negotiators headed up by SUPER RINO Mitt Romney. Some of you might think this is a crude scene from an old movie called “Apocalypse Now” but it actually really spoke to me. I know this is just a movie but as I watched this scene it reminded me of something.

When we walk in the Holy Spirit (that only Jesus can give us when we trust Him as our Lord and Savior), we can walk WITHOUT FEAR. When we live on the promises of God (Philippians 4:6-7, Romans 8:28, Philippians 4:13, Isaiah 41:10, 2 Timothy 1:10, Joshua 1:9, Deuteronomy 31:6 and so many other promises on “NOT TO FEAR”), we should have total PEACE no matter what we go through.

Robert Duvall walks this way as many of his troops are cowering in fear. He is unfazed no matter what is going on around him. He has no fear (“Where, O death, is your victory? Where, O death, is your sting?” 1 Corinthians 15:55).

He also knows who is truly in control. He knows he can call on his planes at any time to drop bombs on the enemy. We can do the same thing through prayer (“‘Call to Me, and I will answer you, and show you great and mighty things, which you do not know.’ Jeremiah 33:3).

We can call on the fire of God to reign down on the enemy. We don’t know when it will happen but we know He can.

Robert Duvall teaches his troops what has happened in another battle he was in where fire rained down. As we go through the fire of life, it can strengthen our faith (“Blessed is a man who perseveres under trial; for once he has been approved, he will receive the crown of life which the Lord has promised to those who love Him.” James 1:12).

We know the VICTORY is ours through Christ Jesus (“But thanks be to God, who gives us the victory through our Lord Jesus Christ.” 1 Corinthians 15:57). We have THE VICTORY! We need to walk this way. WALK THIS WAY TODAY!

Pray 7:14 Marriage

Lord, I lift up myself to you today. Open my eyes to see the opportunities to serve my spouse today. I want to serve my spouse just as you served your disciples by washing their feet. Help me to follow your example.
Help me to do these things in love, and not with a begrudging heart.

I also ask that you would give me the eyes to see how my spouse is serving me. Help me to recognize and be thankful for all the ways that my spouse has been serving me throughout the week. In Jesus Christ Name Amen.

It’s been a tough week. Many are losing patience because the news stream has been nothing but deflating. The MSM has tightened their grips, as they are hanging on for dear life.

It may feel at times like we are losing, but just know that every time they attack us it’s because they are so scared. They appear strong, but they are weak.

I often remind myself that DJT would never just walk away after what they did to him and all that he sacrificed.

Under the weak leadership of Mitch McConnell, Senate Republicans continue to lose. He lost Arizona, he lost Georgia, he ignored Election Fraud and he doesn’t fight. Now he’s giving Democrats everything they want and getting nothing in return. No deal is better than a bad deal. Fight for America, not for special interests and Radical Democrats. In the Bible, Nehemiah was doing a great work of rebuilding the wall of Jerusalem. God used him in a mighty way to lead the people in rebuilding their city.

As it always is, there were naysayers and those who were angry that Jerusalem was being rebuilt and wished to do harm to Nehemiah.

Notice the enemies' tactic and Nehemiah's response in Nehemiah chapter 6:

"Now it came to pass when Sanballat, and Tobiah, and Geshem the Arabian, and the rest of our enemies, heard that I had builded the wall, and that there was no breach left therein; (though at that time I had not set up the doors upon the gates;) That Sanballat and Geshem sent unto me, saying, Come, let us meet together in some one of the villages in the plain of Ono. But they thought to do me mischief. And I sent messengers unto them, saying, I am doing a great work, so that I cannot come down: why should the work cease, whilst I leave it, and come down to you?" (Nehemiah 6:1-3)

The enemy tried to get Nehemiah off task. They tried to get him to come down to one of the villages so they could harm him. His response was simple:

"Why would I quit doing what God has called me to do so I could come down and argue with you?"

I find similarities in this story to what we're facing today in this spiritual battle. The enemy wants to pick fights, cause mischief, get us to rise up and fight so they can blame us for violence, and have us so busy arguing with them (and amongst ourselves) that we aren't studying, sharing truth, serving others, and helping in our communities.

This tactic the enemy uses is effective. We still feel like we are busy, but all we're busy doing is arguing with people who won't change their mind anyway.

Refocus. Share truth. Don't waste energy on useless arguments. Together, we are strong; united, we are the deep states worst nightmare!
