Pray 7:14 for our military (2 Chronicles 7:14)

King of Kings, Lord of Lords, thank you that you are faithful to fulfill all your promises. You have promised that you will strengthen all who are weary. We ask that you would bless our military and increase their power. When they feel weary we ask that you would refresh their strength. When they feel isolated, we ask that you would give them the assurance that you are with them. We pray that their work and mission would be successful. May they be filled with all the fullness of God.

Lord Jesus Christ, thank you that you are constantly at work protecting your people. We pray for the protection of our armed forces as they serve our country around the world right now. Give them endurance and remind them that their service worthwhile. May they know that their service is appreciated by us. We thank you, Lord, for using the bravery of these men and women as part of your protection for us. We look forward to a day when this protection is no longer necessary as we live in perfect peace with you for eternity.

Faithful Father, thank you that you are the source of all true joy in life. For those who serve our country in the military, we pray that they would be filled with your strength flowing through them. We thank you for their sacrificial service on our behalf. We pray that they would carry out their work with integrity and honor. We praise you that our names are written in your book of life. We thank you that your grace has been sufficient throughout our life and will faithfully carry us home.

Eternal God, thank you that you have given gifts to every man and woman who serves in our military and they have used those gifts to bless us. As we pray for our military, we ask that you would provide wisdom, guidance and direction. Dispense your abundant grace upon them that they may live in your victorious light. Work in them through your Holy Spirit that they would be equipped to carry out every good deed you have prepared in advance for them. May your love reign in their hearts.

In Jesus Christ name, Amen.

Sometimes as you adjust your life to God, He requires that you wait on Him. Learning to wait on God is one of the hardest but most important aspects of the Christian life. God seeks a love relationship with you, and waiting develops your absolute dependence on Him. It assures that you will act in His timing, not your own.

Peter “plunged into the sea”

One of my favorite parts of all Scripture. Imagine wanting to be restored so badly (after denying Christ three times) that you had zero reservation whatsoever about plunging into the sea.

Going all in. Having faith that when you get to the other side of that plunge, that it will all be worth it.

His plunge was an act of faith. It ended with him being restored to fellowship.

Asking people to get involved will their skills and abilities and to be bold means others are going to have to find their willingness and courage to “plunge into the sea.”

Nothing great in the history of mankind has ever been done at no risk!

Be blessed today and make it one to remember.

I’m here to encourage you to keep praying despite any discouragement or doubts you may have. You may not feel like you are making a difference, especially after you have been praying for someone for many weeks, months, or years.

I will tell you from experience that the enemy will try to convince you, that you are wasting your time praying for that friend, that family member, or a co worker, a spouse…etc. Don’t give in to the devils lies that your prayers aren’t working. He knows very well how powerful your prayers are.

You plant the seed, God will bring the harvest. I like to imagine myself with a machine gun loaded with seeds, and then pull the trigger. Spreading seeds everywhere. You don’t know which seeds will develop and grow. You don’t know when someone else will come and water that seed you planted. But God sees it. Keep at it, get some mustard seed faith and pull that trigger .

“And the prayer of faith will save the sick, and the Lord will raise him up. And if he has committed sins, he will be forgiven. Confess your trespasses to one another, and pray for one another, that you may be healed. The effective, fervent prayer of a righteous man avails much. Elijah was a man with a nature like ours, and he prayed earnestly that it would not rain; and it did not rain on the land for three years and six months.
