Why is thinking so hard for people? If women owe nothing to men, why should men owe something to women? Societies are just implicit contracts of people owing stuff to each other. In nature, a man would take the woman, whether she likes it or not. Why does the man exchange that freedom for a society? It's because he gets things from the society. Typically, people get safety and justice etc. However, reproduction is the prime directive of all life. Women are basically guaranteed that, if they have safety. Not the case for men. They don't value safety as much. They want something else out of the society. Access to women, for one. 

In short, if women owe nothing to men, men owe nothing to women. Conversely, if men owe it to women not to bash their brains in, women kind of do owe sex, or something, to men. Perhaps only to the top ~ 50 %, since they can pacify the bottom 50 % by violence, but still, they must pay their keep somehow to someone. You don't just magically have the privilege for safe streets and docile men, because those do not exist free in nature.
