Just like you thought the red trucks caused the house fires, doctors thought that tubercular bacteria caused something they decided was a disease called tuberculosis.
Medical doctors know that millions of people have TB bacteria in their body, but do not have the "tuberculosis infection".
They even have a name for it: "latent TB".
That is a clear exception to the idea that "bacteria cause disease and if we could kill all these bacteria through antibiotics and vaccination we would all be healthier and safe from disease."
This is the case with all bacteria!
They know that staph and strep bacteria are present in the majority of people and that most of those people are expressing no symptoms of sickness, yet they still try to say that bacteria "cause" disease.
The truth is that bacteria help us.
They help keep our body functioning.
We evolved together and we work together.
After the person resolved their Death Fright Conflict and their lung stops proliferating additional tissue cells, the TB bacteria break down the tumor.
"Do you remember when we went hiking and saw all of those interesting mushrooms on dead logs in the forest?"
"Do you remember how I told you that the fungus helps recycle old wood and is an important part of the ecosystem?"
Well, the TB bacteria are ancient mycobacteria.
Myco means fungus, so these bacteria are like fungus.
They act in certain tissues that are derived from our endodermal embryonic germ layer and they are controlled by the brain stem.
These areas are evolutionarily the oldest tissues in our body.
So, the TB bacteria break down the lung tumor, and while this is happening the person often seems very sick.
They are tired, they sweat at night, and they are coughing up lots of phlegm and sometimes even blood.
This is because their lung is a construction site.
The bacteria is breaking down the tissue that is no longer necessary because they aren't scared of the fire anymore.
Fire trucks don't show up randomly at people's houses and they don't cause fires. They are called on at specific times to serve a specific function in the infrastructure of the city.
Our bodies have an intelligent infrastructure that evolved for survival. Every symptom serves a purpose, every bacteria and protein particle we call a virus is present at a site of healing serving a specific function.
"Wow, so I blamed the fire truck because I didn't understand the full context in which it was functioning just like those doctors blamed the bacteria."
"Yes."

In a village not so far away, the people have been raised to believe that their life depends on avoiding the Boogeyman.
From cradle to grave in this culture the people are on high alert to avoid coming into contact with the Boogeyman.
They are told horrible stories about what the Boogeyman does to people who don’t follow the protocols.
So they inject their bodies with anti-Boogeyman potions.
They wear anti-Boogeyman costumes.
They anoint their hands with anti-Boogeyman serum.
None of these people have ever seen the Boogeyman…
But they have heard thousands of scary Boogeyman stories.
They believe the Boogeyman experts who have done Boogeyman studies.
The people never stop to question the existence of the Boogeyman, they aren’t sure how exactly the Boogeyman works, they never read the Boogeyman studies for themselves… they just believe.
They never stop to consider that maybe the Boogeyman has been an elaborate story the whole time… they just believe.
They believe they’ve experienced the presence of the Boogeyman.
They are completely convinced their bad experiences have been due to the Boogeyman.
“The Boogeyman put me in the hospital once! I know he’s real!”
Sure, the villagers pay a lot of money for anti-Boogeyman products and services and shape their life around avoidance of the Boogeyman...
But that’s because the experts that teach the Boogeyman doctrine want to keep people safe… it’s not just a big business.
They want to help keep people alive and out of harms way because the Boogeyman is really that bad.
So they go on living in fear year after year.
One day a man came to town and explained to the villagers that the Boogeyman doesn’t exist.
That the Boogeyman is a legend based on a fantasy from 200 years ago.
The story has been passed down and elaborated on over time, but it has never been proven to be true.
He told them how the Boogeyman experts perform studies using a smoke and mirrors technique which makes it seem as though the Boogeyman is really there.
He tried to get them to see that while they’ve been impressed and convinced by these studies they’ve never investigated the methods used.
He tried to show them that their fear of the Boogeyman is extremely profitable and that they are cash cows for the anti-Boogeyman industry.
He tried to get them to read the studies for themselves.
He invited them to shed their fear and their anti-Boogeyman gear.
The villagers tried to listen to the man, but they struggled to entertain the radical possibility that they’ve been duped their whole lives.
They all began telling stories about a time the Boogeyman got them or a friend and the terrible experience they had.
They said they couldn’t read or understand the studies because they were just simple villagers.
They couldn’t believe that the whole Boogeyman industry could be based on a fantasy.
Then they began to think the man was dangerous, despite him having no incentive to deceive them.
Their fear of the Boogeyman-denier grew and they decided to run him out of town.
Clutching their anti-Boogeyman paraphernalia they stumbled back to their fearful world.

I know it would be ideal...
if we lived in a perfectly organic, non-toxic world...
where producers and manufacturers...
took great care to create consumer goods in ethical and eco-friendly ways...
where symptom-relieving medications were made directly from unadulterated, natural sources...
where chemical production and pharmaceutical companies were not in bed with the government approval boards...
where companies cared about the quality of human experience, the welfare of animals, and the environment...
where doctors understood that bacteria and viruses are cooperative components of nature, not enemies to be eradicated...
but...
we don't (currently).
So the solution is not to freak out and panic about every microgram of parabens, organochlorides, glyphosate, heavy metals, etc. you and your children have been exposed to.
It's helpful to remember our looooooooooong organismic history and to recall that all organisms are brilliant at adapting and overcoming harsh environments.
We need to pay more attention to our mental and emotional state and realize that freaking out over every potentially toxic exposure we've had is worse than the exposure itself.
Take steps to avoid exposure when possible, but don't allow yourself to become neurotic about it.
