*AITA for leaving the room when my(24M) actress gf(26F) had a sex scene in a show she's in?*

My GF is an actress in in recent months got her biggest role. She is playing a recurring character in a show that ends up hooking up with one of the main actors a few times. The show was not one I watched nor would watch if not for my partner's role in it. Her family hosted a screening party for the first episode she was in and there was an intimate scene that did not involve my girlfriends character. Because I had never watched the show before I did not realize that the scenes were THAT graphic. Like if I was a teenager I probably would've replayed the scene a few times if you catch my drift. So the party went well. She is an amazing actress and one day you'll know her name. So the next episode came out a week later. This was the episode her character would have the intimate scene. Judging from the first love scene I could predict what this next one would be like, and I could feel it in my stomach that I would not want to see her in that context. So when I could see things were getting amorous, I "went to the bathroom". Came back three minutes later and the scene had passed. Nothing happened. The next week (this week) I watched another episode with her and she had a love scene that came out of nowhere. I immediately had to go to the bathroom and my gf stopped me. She asked if I had an issue with her having a scene like this. I admitted that I did not want to see it. I said it's nothing to do with her acting and in fact she was too good of an actor so much that it would make me uncomfy to see that. She got very upset. She said that I was being a baby and that it's not real so I shouldn't have an issue seeing her do that. I said that I knew she wasn't actually fucking the dude but the point of the acting and cinematography and directing all is to make it seem like she is fucking the actor. She said I was shitting on her craft and that she didn't want to watch the show with me anymore if I couldn't handle it. So I stopped watching with her. she's been pissed at me since but I think she's the one being unreasonable. AITA? submitted by /u/OrochiNoMata to r/TwoHotTakes [link] [comments]
