*One band or artist you wish you HADN’T seen live.*

Not every band/artist puts on a great show. Who ruined it for you? Who could you have gone without seeing live? For me it was 311. Long time fan since high school in the 90’s. Had an opportunity to catch them at Red Rocks a few years ago. Their energy was…frolicky? The way they frolick around the stage is super distracting. They do the “clap in front of you, then clap in back of you” thing a lot (go ahead try it, it’s weird),lots of Overhead clapping but he actual frolicking and skipping and hopping around like little kids with a bucket of sidewalk chalk… very distracting from the musical energy. They looked like 8 year olds doing a talent show but weren’t sure what to do with their hands and bodies. They lack that fluid “cool” stage presence thing artists are supposed to have. I was eating in a restaurant yesterday and they play music videos on the TV’s and the video for “Amber” came on. I absolutely LOVE the song, but the damn video… more frolicking. 311 is strictly for the ears from now on submitted by /u/OsoRetro to r/Music [link] [comments]

*Topton L10 is a 15.6 inch notebook with a 7 inch tablet embedded next to the keyboard*

A few years ago Lenovo put out a ThinkBook Plus Gen 3 laptop featuring a 17.3 inch ultra-wide primary display and an 8 inch secondary display positioned to the right of the keyboard, allowing you to use your fingertips or a pressure-sensitive pen for input. Now Chinese PC company Topton is borrowing that idea… kind […] The post Topton L10 is a 15.6 inch notebook with a 7 inch tablet embedded next to the keyboard appeared first on Liliputing.

*I have played this game for ten years, and at almost every single point in history it has been "The Worst State For ADC's ever"*

Oh my lord. All you people do is bitch and moan. Except for like some brief points in time where Marksman items were just straight up broken (Which were admittedly small), ADCs have ALWAYS complained, every single season, without exception. It's crazy because ADC's have been the meta for literally like thirteen years at this point. I can recall metas where I've had up to three Marksmen in my game. A traditional ADC bot, Ashe or Senna Support, Tristana, Corki or Lucian mid. Vayne or Varus top. Yes, there have been a few moments in time where there were some non ADC carries such as Swain or Ziggs or Ye Olde Mordekaiser/Darius/Garen bot whatever back when the Juggernaut rework first hit the scene. But for most of the game's history, ADC has been mandatory if you actually wanted a fighting chance at winning the game. ADC's are still almost ubiquitous in almost every elo from iron to challenge to even the pro scene. Go into a game tonight and tally up how many of your games don't have a single ADC. Here are some of the most recent pro games: https://gol.gg/esports/home/ Notice something? Both teams have an ADC literally every single game, sometimes even two. If ADC wasn't powerful people just wouldn't be playing it, full stop. Just because you melee moded a bruiser and died or because you ate a skillshot with 0 MR from a fullbuild xerath and got chunked, doesn't make marksmen bad. You just suck. Cheers. submitted by /u/OfficerSmiles to r/leagueoflegends [link] [comments]

*What inventions are worse than 30 years ago?*

Obviously, it's easy to have rose-tinted glasses about the past, but when I look at the world it feels like we've gone backwards in many ways. Some examples of what I mean, 30 years ago: I crossed the English Channel by Hovercraft, and by Catamaran - both of which are faster than the ferry we have today. We had supersonic flight between London and New York. Space shuttles offered resuable space flight. Music was sold at a much higher bit-rate than is normal today, and usually played on higher quality audio equipment. Milk (and other groceries) were still commonly delivered to your door by a fleet of electric vehicles. So much of today's technology is based around software and phones, and it feels to me like everything else has been allowed to regress. Does anyone else feel like this? submitted by /u/PastorParcel to r/AskUK [link] [comments]
