UNSOLVED: Who was Bible John?
https://ift.tt/3gy8MkY
I have had a lot of spare time on my hands recently and so I thought I would write about a case that has long interested me. I've tried to include links where possible, though the post can be read without clicking any. This is a case never far from the media's eye in Britain, seldom a year goes by without a new theory or book. But the police are no closer to an arrest, and the families no closer to any resolution - and with over 50 years having past since the murders the chances of ever apprehen...

I sleep with a 2 L bottle of water right besides my bed because I'm terrified that my gut could catch fire after watching a documentary about a medical condition that causes people's guts to randomly burst into flames
https://ift.tt/3kgmGdS
I know it probably sounds daft but the documentary had some terrifying cases of this, including a woman who survived it, it was a woman in her 30's and she said she suddenly felt hot in her throat, and then flames started spewing from her mouth. She drank water and the fire was put out, but she sustained 3rd degree burns to her stomach and intestines and had a scar on her abdomen because of the heat of the fire coming from her gut. The others weren't so lucky and were found reduced to a pile...

https://ift.tt/2YE7vlk
In 1980, 43-year old Louise Faulkner lived in a flat in St. Kilda with her two-year old daughter, Charmian. Years earlier, Louise had been married with three other children, but her husband filed for divorce after discovering that she was having an affair with a married man named George Sutherland, who was 16 years her senior. Louise’s ex-husband retained primary custody of the children, but Louise eventually became pregnant with Charmian and claimed that George was the father. Even though Georg...

Kings and Generals- Macedonia before Alexander the Great and Philip II
https://ift.tt/30vjymd
Although I will admit that I am a fan of Kings and Generals and watch their videos frequently I must admit that one of their [lastest videos](https://youtu.be/FXX1FVYysjQ) is not very good and is full of bad history 1:57-2:05 - the claim is that Macedonia was not part of the Greek world because it wasn’t mentioned in Homer’s epics expect this is false although not mentioned by name Homer’s Iliad mentions both Pieria and Emathia which are in Macedonia [ http://www.perseus.tufts.edu/hopper/tex...
