🏳️🇦🇫🇺🇸🇬🇧Informes sugieren que al menos 1.000 combatientes talibanes, provenientes del sur de Afganistán (Kandahar y Helmand), se han trasladado a Kabul para asumir la seguridad interna de la capital afgana.
¿Qué significa esto? Pues los talibanes del sur de Afganistán, provenientes de tribus muy conservadoras y vengativas, podrían aumentar las tensiones con las tropas estadounidenses y de la coalición en general, que se encuentran evacuando en el aeropuerto internacional de Kabul.
Hay que destacar que estos talibanes del sur, principalmente de Helmand y Kandahar, tienen una gran sed de venganza y justicia, debido a que las tropas americanas/británicas realizaron casi la mayor parte de sus combates en el sur de Afganistán y, por tanto, la mayoría (por no decir todos) deben de haber perdido a algún familiar o amigo a manos de las fuerzas de EE. UU./UK.
Es poco probable que estos talibanes del sur de Afganistán lleven a cabo un ataque a gran escala contra el aeropuerto, pero, si es muy posible que estos quieran dificultarles el trabajo a las tropas de EE. UU. y de la coalición en el aeropuerto internacional de Kabul.
Hay que destacar también que estos talibanes del sur son más conservadores, es decir, son aun mas estrictos respecto a la imposición de la interpretación talibán de la sharía, por lo que las mujeres de Kabul se verán aun mas restringidas de sus derechos.
🇬🇧Reports suggest that at least 1,000 Taliban fighters from southern Afghanistan (Kandahar and Helmand) have moved into Kabul to take over internal security in the Afghan capital.
What does this mean? Well, the Taliban from southern Afghanistan, coming from very conservative and vindictive tribes, could increase tensions with U.S. and coalition troops in general, who are evacuating at Kabul International Airport.
It should be noted that these southern Taliban, mainly from Helmand and Kandahar, have a great thirst for revenge and justice, due to the fact that American/British troops did almost all of their fighting in southern Afghanistan and therefore most (if not all) must have lost a family member or friend at the hands of US/UK forces.
It is unlikely that these Taliban in southern Afghanistan would carry out a large scale attack on the airport, but, it is quite possible that they would want to make it difficult for the US and coalition troops at Kabul International Airport.
It should also be noted that these southern Taliban are more conservative, i.e. they are even stricter about imposing the Taliban's interpretation of Sharia, so women in Kabul will be even more restricted in their rights.
