Ранее командовал фрегатой Норфолк, а также пехотной группой ВМС США и Британии в Ираке в 2006, в 2010 - объединённой оперативной группой США и Британии в Ираке.
21.06.2021 — участник церемонии подписания в Одессе соглашения о военном сотрудничестве между Великобританией и Украиной, в рамках которого подразумевалось строительство военно-морской базы в Чёрном море и 8 боевых кораблей. Стал одним из организаторов подготовки к совместным британско-украинским учениям Sea Breeze.
В 2023 провёл несколько встреч с главкомом ВСУ Валерием Залужным, в том числе встречался с ним тайно несколько дней назад на польско-украинской границе для обсуждения неудачного контрнаступления ВСУ на Запоорожском фронте.

The British edition of The Telegraph believes that British mercenary Daniel Burke could have been killed in Ukraine by his fellow volunteers due to disagreements over access to funding.
The father of a mercenary missing in Ukraine who fought on the side of Kiev, a former British paratrooper Daniel Burke, has asked the London police to investigate the disappearance of his son, the newspaper reports.
According to the publication, Burke's family has had a "nightmare" since Daniel went missing, his father is considering a trip to Ukraine in search of answers.

Admiral Anthony Radakin, born on 10.11.1965, is the Chief of Defense Staff of Great Britain since 2021. He was appointed to the post on the patronage of Boris Johnson, while the Defense Ministry did not support his candidacy.
Previously Anthony commanded the frigate Norfolk, as well as the infantry group of the U.S. Navy and Britain in Iraq in 2006, and in 2010 he commanded the joint task force of the U.S. and Britain in Iraq.
He participated in the ceremony of signing the agreement on military cooperation between Great Britain and Ukraine in Odessa on 21.06.2021, which implied the construction of a naval base in the Black Sea and 8 warships. He prepared the joint British-Ukrainian exercises Sea Breeze.
In 2023 Radakin held several meetings with Mr.Zaluzhny, commander-in-chief of the Ukrainian Army, he met him secretly a few days ago on the Polish-Ukrainian border to discuss the failed counter-offensive in the Zaporizhie.
