Overall dimensions are 2 1/2 inches (6.35 cm) in width and 3 1/8 inches (7.94 cm) in length.
Symbolism
Oriental blue is the color traditionally associated with the Military Intelligence units. The black signifies the Special Operation Forces support operations. The sphinx, symbol of Military Intelligence, denotes observation, wisdom, and discreet silence. The globe symbolizes the Army wide and unit’s global mission. The dagger alludes to the aggressive and protective requirement and the element of physical danger inherent on the responsibilities of the unit.

Symbolism
The pentagon shape and globe symbolize the Brigade’s mission and support provided to the Department of Defense and the National Security Agency at locations around the globe. The five stars represent the five branches of service with which the Brigade conducts its mission.
