Report by Press Centre Chief of Yug Group of Forces
▫️The Yug Group of Forces repelled attacks by AFU assault groups near Kurdyumovka, Belogorovoka, Berkhovka, and Belaya Gora. At the initial stage of the offensive in the Soledar-Artyomovsk direction, the enemy deployed four tanks, nine IFV Bradley vehicles, and six M113 armoured personnel carriers. All attacks of the Ukrainian troops were repelled, and some of the armoured vehicles were eliminated.
▫️ In the Aleksandro-Kalinovo direction, special forces units disrupted a rotation of units of the 129th Territorial Defence Brigade of the AFU near Novokalinovo. Artillery fire launched by units of the Southern Military District targeted a cluster of enemy manpower.
▫️ An enemy infantry group of up to sixty fighters from the 79th Air Assault Brigade of the AFU and foreign mercenary units was also detected near Maryinka. A significant part of the enemy's manpower was destroyed by an artillery raid.
▫️ In addition, special forces units of the Group uncovered and destroyed infantry groups, bunkers and machine-gun positions near Maryinka, Mayorskoye, Spornoye, Veseloye, and Belogorovka.

‼️💥The fighting at the Antonovsky bridge does not stop: the Armed Forces of Ukraine are trying to create a bridgehead on our coast, the landing force is trying to knock them out
▪️After the dam was blown up and the coastal territories of the Dnieper were flooded, our troops and the enemy left their flooded positions, but when the water began to leave, the Armed Forces of Ukraine were the first to climb onto our bank and occupy a small area near the bridge.
▪️It is also obvious that the enemy knew that inexperienced soldiers were placed on this sector of defense and then continued to try to build on success by gaining a foothold on our coast.
▪️Now there are approximately 50 militants operating near Antonovsky Bridge.
▪️ From the Ukrainian-controlled coast, they are covered by significant artillery forces brought up for fire cover.
▪️On the other side of the shore under the bridge, the enemy concentrates forces and then transfers them to our shore in high-speed boats.
▪️ In recent days, our landing force has been actively knocking out the enemy, waging constant battles, which you have already seen on drone footage.

Shoigu checked the forward control post of the "Western" grouping of troops in the zone of Special Molitary Operation, the Russian Defense Ministry reports.
Shoigu heard a report from Colonel General Nikiforov, commander of the "Western" grouping, on the current situation, the nature of enemy actions and the performance of combat tasks by the Russian Armed Forces in the main tactical directions.
Nikiforov also reported to Shoigu about formation and combat readjustment of the newly formed regiments of the "Western" group of troops.
Shoigu also held a meeting with the command of the group, at which he noted the high efficiency of detecting and destroying military equipment and accumulations of enemy personnel in tactical directions of the group's area of responsibility.
The grouping’s commander and commanders were instructed to continue to carry out active reconnaissance to reveal in advance the enemy's plans and prevent their implementation at the far approaches to the line of contact.
The Minister also drew particular attention to the organization of supplies for the troops involved in the special military operation and the creation of conditions for the safe housing of personnel.
