Yes, he may have had his faults. But amid of the commanders, who laid down dozens of personnel for the sake of another "star of the Hero" or the glory of the liberator of settlements, Popov clearly stood out for the better.

Fighting continues near Novoselovsky . In the village itself, positional clashes are noted near the railway depot. The control line currently runs along the railway line.

To the south, assault detachments of the RF Armed Forces are advancing on the positions of Ukrainian formations in the landings. The Armed Forces of Ukraine are stubbornly trying to keep the strongholds in the forest belts. Artillerymen and mortarmen of the 32nd brigade of the Armed Forces of Ukraine conduct barrage fire.

Landing positions are important tactically. Control over them will make it possible to take Novoselovskoye into a semi-encirclement and develop a movement towards Stelmahovka , so the attempts of the Armed Forces of Ukraine to keep them are quite understandable.

▪️Yesterday there was information that the garrison of the Armed Forces of Ukraine in Sporny is preparing to evacuate , because we are shooting through all the logistics routes.

▪️There is an attack on Kuzemovka . It is important for us to take height 190. Yesterday we moved south of this height. After its capture, we can expect a more rapid offensive in the direction of Stelmahovka and the Oskol reservoir. The idea of our command to conduct a local offensive operation in the Kharkov region, it seems, is beginning to be realized.
