CNN filmed a report inside the bunker of the 47th mechanised brigade of the Ukrainian military, where Ukrainian troops admit they can't break through the Russian army's well-fortified defences.

❗️The Russian Ministry of Defence confirms the liberation of Sergeyevka. After successful counterattacks by the 15th Motorized Rifle Brigade in the Krasny Liman direction, the settlement of Sergeyevka was liberated.
The total advance of the Russian troops was up to 4 kilometres along the front and up to 2 kilometres deep into the enemy's defensive lines.
This confirms one of the two bridgeheads on the western bank of the Zherebets River established by the Russian Army in recent days.

Fierce fighting continues near Bakhmut in the southwestern part of Kleshcheevka. mass artillery fire is being fired at the advancing Ukrainian formations.

🔸Most of these soldiers gave up when trying to storm Russian trenches with no artillery support or even proper training.
🔸As soon as the first grenades fell on them, their advance stopped — there was nothing to answer with.
🔸The prisoners complained about old weapons, lack of ammunition and scarce food and water supplies. 🇺🇦🇷🇺

According to the situation in Kleshcheevka, you need to understand the following.
Firstly, this direction is actually the only one where the enemy has accumulated a significant reserve and where the landscape is more or less clear to the Armed Forces of Ukraine.
Secondly, attacks towards Kleshcheevka are the only opportunity for the commander of the Ground Forces of the Armed Forces of Ukraine, Syrsky, to rehabilitate himself for the loss of Artemovsk.
Thirdly, the intensity of the fighting at the moment is such that each attack of the Armed Forces of Ukraine leads to the death of at least one or two companies of personnel. Any attempt to gain a foothold somewhere on the heights increases losses, and Ukrainian troops will not be able to "plug" the dead and wounded with mobilized ones indefinitely. Already, 45-50-year-old mobilized people are participating in the attacks.
Fourthly, the relief around Kleshcheevka is such that any movement of the Armed Forces of Ukraine can be leveled in a few hours. This is the case when for every 100 meters of activity the enemy spends about a platoon (approximately 35-40 people).
Intense fighting in this area has been going on for the past few weeks, the battle is for every defensive position and every height.

During the last few hours we get confirmation that Russians advanced more in Svatovski direction and captured village Nadiya.

✍️ ⚡️ По Бахмутскому направлению: на период после полудня 25 июля противник продолжал активно наступать с целью прорвать оборону Клещеевки. За счет переброски резервов на северные окраины обстановка к полудню начала меняться. Противник встал по западной границе села, что подтверждает большинство западных OSINT-ресурсов. Хотя украинские источники заявляют, что наши войска отошли за железную дорогу восточнее села, это не соответствует действительности. На данный момент населенник в серой зоне.
Контроль высот на западе (в среднем от 150 до 200м) позволяет ВСУ держать Клещеевку под огневым контролем. Поскольку под давлением противника наши силы отошли из Андреевки, основное противостояние смещается севернее. В случае закрепления противника на южном фланге села, а мы отойдем за ж/д, создается опасность выполнения маневра молот и наковальня. Но тут стоит учесть опыт Пятихаток на Запорожье, когда противник втягивался вглубь нашей обороны, попадая под плотный огонь артиллерии и авиации.
