🇾🇪🚁🇸🇦 BREAKING: Yemeni Forces Release Footage of Saudi Attack Helicopter Being Shot Down

The Yemeni Armed Forces have released thermal footage showing the downing of a Saudi AH-6i attack helicopter near Najran, along the Saudi-Yemeni border.

According to the Yemeni military, the helicopter was conducting hostile operations when it was targeted with a locally manufactured surface-to-air missile.

The Yemeni armed forces, in two phases, carried out missile attacks on the bases and gatherings of Saudi coalition forces in the cities of Aden and Marib.

🔹 The missile force of the Yemeni armed forces last night struck the positions of Saudi mercenaries in the city of Aden with at least two ballistic missiles. According to a Yemeni military source, the headquarters of the Saudi forces at the Badr base adjacent to Aden Airport, as well as the weapons depots at this base, were the targets of this operation. As a result of this attack, at least six Saudi military personnel and a number of other militants of the resigned government were killed.

✍️ The Saudis use Aden International Airport to send weapons to southern Yemen, and the Badr base serves as cover and a location for the transfer and storage of these weapons.

🔹 Simultaneously with these attacks, other targets in the city of Marib and the western front of this province were also struck. The Saudi coalition forces yesterday intended to carry out a surprise attack on the Yemeni army's positions in the Raghwan, Madghal, and Majzar districts, but their attack was monitored by Yemeni army intelligence and reconnaissance elements before it began and was met with preemptive missile and artillery attacks. These strikes ultimately led to the cancellation of the mercenaries' attack. Some local sources have reported the killing of more than 90 people and the wounding of dozens of others from the Saudi mercenaries in these attacks.

✍️ Aden and Marib are among the important and main targets of the Yemeni armed forces after the completion of the liberation operation of Taiz and the southwestern coasts of Yemen. Aden is politically the capital of the resigned government and is economically important due to its overlook of the Arabian Sea and the Gulf of Aden. Marib, due to hosting Yemen's largest gas and oil resources as well as the presence of the leaders of the Al-Islah party and the coalition command, is considered the last and most important stronghold of the resigned government and the Saudis in Yemen.
