Hudson War Mapping - Reporting on the Ukraine War
Launched from Bryansk oblast in this wave were: 2 Iskander-M SRBMs 8 S-400 decoy SRBMs. The S400 decoys successfully baited Patriot interceptors into firing. There were at least 3-4 interceptions.
Modified S400 decoys are being a serious problem.

They’re very cheap, inaccurate throwaways that are detected exactly the same as Iskanders, which means they bait Patriot interceptors into firing far too easily.

Frustrating stuff.

2 3M22 Zircons hypersonic cruise missiles from Millerovo (0 confirmed interceptions)

2 Hwasong-11A SRBMs from Voronezh (1 confirmed interception)

Hello all!
I’d like to announce a project that i’ve been working on for a few days, which i’ll be sharing over the next week or so.

It will be a 10 day, top 10 countdown of the most influential, craziest or most iconic videos of the war in Ukraine to date.

It’ll be 1 video a day with an analysis breakdown of its context. Stay tuned!

If you have any suggestions i haven’t considered as honourable mentions, comment them, but i have my top 10 compiled and mostly locked in.

The Zapad fuckup in Lyman continues, and is now extending further south, as the Ukrainian counteroffensive enters its 5th month.

Ukrainian forces have the initiative are now advancing along a 70 km-long front, reversing over a year of Russian progress. Counterattacks have now spread to the Slovyansk direction too, where progress is being made.

I now believe, due to the rapidly reversed Russian progress around Lyman, that Russian command will now attempt to outflank Kramatorsk/Slovyansk from the south, by capturing Dobrpopillya and expanding the front outward, wrapping around the back of Kramatorsk as so.

Ukrainian forces have now recaptured around 532 km² of previously Russian-controlled territory and grey-zones in the Lyman direction, as a result of their last 4 months of counteroffensive operations and some smaller clearing operations in early 2026.

Of this, around 479 km² were in Donetsk Oblast, ~32 km² were in Luhansk Oblast, and ~21 km² were in Kharkiv Oblast. The large Russian bridgehead west of the Zherebets River has now been reduced to four smaller bridgehead, including one larger section connected to the Slovyansk direction, and 3 smaller, partially-isolated footholds further north. All four of these remaining bridgeheads are shrinking day-by-day

Extremely heavy Ukrainian artillery and MLRS shelling, along with intense drone attacks, continue on Russian positions close to the frontline, as well as in the tactical and strategic rear, supporting the ongoing offensive operations.

Slovyansk/Lyman direction, Donetsk oblast.

I can confirm that Ukrainian forces have continued very successful counterattacks, expelling the Russians from their bridgehead west of the Zherebets river.

The AFU has now picked up decisive operational tempo as they intensify a push to completely remove the bridgehead.

They re-entered the town of Yampil with infiltrators and assault groups, formed a large spearhead into Zarichne along the Lyman-Zariche road, and even began counterattacks further south, clearing the Russians from the Slovyansk TPP and securing Starodubivka. They also reentered the village of Kryva Luka across the Siverskyy Donets river.

The AFU also fully cleared the city of Lyman itself from Russian infiltrators, completely reestablishing control over it.

Although these advances obviously do not represent a shift in the long-term trend of attrition, the Ukrainians have shown that they still have the strength to conduct decisive local counteroffensives, despite the attrition they've suffered so far.

Apologies, it seems that I'm literally an idiot and misinterpreted falling debris as a maneuvering Zircon in the video i just posted.

I was under the impression that when the video was filmed, it floated around the information space and was claimed to be a Zircon. I also had aligned the time the video was filmed with monitoring channels with detected a Zircon, leading me to believe it was. However, i didn't consider that a failed interceptor or missile debris could appear to maneuver as it fell, and it has now been brought to my attention that is the case.

Effectively, i've spread misinformation, and i know that isn't acceptable.
