*يعجبني الفأل الحسن*
*الخطبة الأولى:*

الـحمد لله الرحمن الرحيم، شرع لنا دينه القويم، فحث على التفاؤل والأمل، والاجتهاد والعمل، ونشهد أن لا إله إلا الله، ونشهد أن سيدنا محمدا رسول الله، صلى الله وسلم وبارك عليه وعلى آله وصحبه ومن والاه.
أما بعد: فأوصيكم عباد الله ونفسي بتقوى الله، قال جل في علاه: ﴿واتقوا الله وعلى الله فليتوكل المؤمنون﴾.
أيها المؤمنون: قيمة تبث في النفوس بهجتها، وتحيي في القلوب نشاطها، وتحفز الإنسان على صناعة غده، وبناء مستقبله؛ إنها قيمة التفاؤل، وتعني توقع الخير من رب العالمين، والاستبشار بما يستحب، وقد فتحت أبوابه لنا آيات قرآنية، يقول رب البرية: ﴿لا تدري لعل الله يحدث بعد ذلك أمرا﴾، آية إذا رددها المؤمن أشرقت في قلبه أنوار الأمل، وأزهرت في روحه معاني التفاؤل، الذي تخلق به الأنبياء والمرسلون، وتحلى به الحكماء والصالحون، فقد «كان رسول الله ﷺ يحب الفأل الحسن»، وأول قيم التفاؤل ومقوماته، وأعظم روافده ومسبباته؛ حسن الظن بالله؛ فهو مفتاح التفاؤل، إذ يتأمل المؤمنون قول ربهم في الحديث القدسي: «أنا عند ظن عبدي بي»، فتسكن قلوبهم، وتطمئن نفوسهم، ويتفاءلون خيرا، ويؤملون من الله برا، فيكون سبحانه لهم عند ظنهم كما وعدهم، ﴿إن الله لا يخلف الميعاد﴾. قال ابن مسعود رضي الله عنه: والله الذي لا إله إلا هو، ما أعطي عبد مؤمن قط شيئا خيرا من حسن الظن بالله، ولا يحسن عبد الظن إلا أعطاه الله ظنه، سبحانه يدبر أمور عباده بحكمة ورحمة، فلا يقدر لهم إلا خيرا. فداوموا عباد الله، على حسن الظن بربكم، في جميع أحوالكم، وليكن شعاركم: ﴿حسبنا الله سيؤتينا الله من فضله﴾، واستحضروا التفاؤل في يسركم وعسركم، ألم تسمعوا قول نبيكم ﷺ لصاحبه إذ هما في الغار، وقد أحاطت بهما الأخطار: «ما ظنك يا أبا بكر باثنين الله ثالثهما؟». إنه التفاؤل وحسن الظن بالله؛ أولم تبلغكم قصة أم سلمة رضي الله عنها، إذ سمعت النبي ﷺ يقول: «ما من عبد تصيبه مصيبة، فيقول: إنا لله وإنا إليه راجعون، اللهم أجرني في مصيبتي، وأخلف لي خيرا منها، إلا أجره الله في مصيبته، وأخلف له خيرا منها»، فلما توفي زوجها، قالت كما أمر رسول الله ﷺ، موقنة به، فكان أن تزوجها خير الخلق ﷺ. وتلك عاقبة كل ذي أمل وثقة بربه؛ مهما اشتدت الخطوب، ﴿سيجعل الله بعد عسر يسرا﴾. قال بعض الحكماء: استعمل في كل بلية تصيبك حسن الظن بالله في كشفها. وما زال المؤمن يحسن الظن بربه، ويجتهد في طاعته، حتى يدخله جنته.
عباد الله: إن الأمل بالله من أعظم قيم التفاؤل، وهو زاد المجدين في طريقهم، ودافعهم إلى الاجتهاد في عملهم، فلولا الأمل لانقطع العمل، انظروا كيف أمر نبي الله يعقوب عليه السلام بنيه أن يتمسكوا بالأمل، وأن يأخذوا بالأسباب مع صدق التوكل، فقال كلمته الخالدة: ﴿يا بني اذهبوا فتحسسوا من يوسف وأخيه ولا تيأسوا من روح الله﴾. ألا فازرعوا الأمل في أولادكم وأسركم، وفي بيئات عملكم، وفي كل ميادين حياتكم، ليظل الأمل خلقا سائدا، والتفاؤل نهجا راسخا.
﴿يا أيها الذين آمنوا أطيعوا الله وأطيعوا الرسول وأولي الأمر منكم﴾.
أقول قولي هذا وأستغفر الله لي ولكم فاستغفروه.

الحمد لله وحده، والصلاة والسلام على من لا نبي بعده.
أما بعد: فيا أيها المؤمنون: إن من قيم التفاؤل وأسبابه: الاستبشار بالخير، فالمؤمن دائم التفاؤل والبشر، يتوقع الخير في حاضره ومستقبله، ويتجنب وساوس الشر وأهله، ويستحضر قول ربه: ﴿لا تحسبوه شرا لكم بل هو خير لكم﴾، بهذا اليقين الراسخ يجلب المؤمن إلى نفسه السعادة، ومن أجل ذلك حثنا نبينا ﷺ على تحري البشرى ونشرها، فقال ﷺ: «بشروا ولا تنفروا». نعم، بشروا بالكلمة الطيبة، التي تبث الأمل في القلوب، والتفاؤل في النفوس؛ قال ﷺ: «يعجبني الفأل الصالح، الكلمة الحسنة»، فما أحوجنا إلى أن نتخير الكلمة الطيبة في حوارنا، وننتقي الألفاظ المبشرة في تعاملاتنا؛ ككلمة «خير» و«أبشر» ونحوها من الكلمات، التي تحرك في النفوس مشاعر التفاؤل، وتؤسس للتفكير الإيجابي، الذي هو من أهم قيم التفاؤل، فلا يقف الإنسان حيران أمام التحديات؛ بل يسعى بفطنته لحل المعضلات، فهلا تحليتم بروح إيجابية، تقودكم نحو مزيد من التقدم؟ وأنتم على ذلك -بفضل الله- قادرون، وبه جديرون. واستصحبوا الصبر والرضا، فهما باب للخير، ومصدر للتفاؤل، كتب عمر بن الخطاب إلى أبي موسى الأشعري رضي الله عنهما: إن الخير كله في الرضا، فإن استطعت أن ترضى، وإلا فاصبر. تلكم يا عباد الله بعض قيم التفاؤل؛ نبضها الأمل، وعمادها اليقين، وثمرتها النجاح، وبها يكون الإنسان في حياته مطمئنا، وفي عمله متقدما، وبحقوق أسرته قائما، ولاستقرار مجتمعه معززا، ولوطنه بانيا، وعند ربه مرضيا.
هذا وصل اللهم وسلم على سيدنا ونبينا محمد، وعلى آله وصحبه والتابعين، وارض اللهم عن أبي بكر وعمر وعثمان وعلي، وعن سائر الصحابة الأكرمين.

*FRIDAY KHUTBA (09-01-2026)🇦🇪🎙️*
*I Am Pleased by Good Omens*
First Khutbah
All praise is due to Allah, the Most Merciful, the Most Compassionate, who has prescribed for us His straight religion, urging us towards optimism and hope, diligence and action.
We bear witness that there is no god but Allah, and we bear witness that our Prophet Muhammad is the Messenger of Allah, may Allah’s peace and blessings be upon him, his family, his companions, and all those who follow him.
To proceed: I advise you, O servants of Allah, and myself first, to have taqwa of Allah, the Exalted, says: ﴿وَاتَّقُوا اللَّهَ وَعَلَى اللَّهِ فَلْيَتَوَكَّلِ الْمُؤْمِنُونَ﴾
“And fear Allah; and let the believers put their trust in Him.”
O Believers: Optimism is a value that instills joy in the souls, revives the heart with energy, and motivates a person to shape their tomorrow and build their future. Optimism means expecting good from the Lord of the worlds and rejoicing in what is praiseworthy. Allah has opened the gates of hope and optimism for us through Qur’anic verses. He says: ﴿لَا تَدْرِي لَعَلَّ اللَّهَ يُحْدِثُ بَعْدَ ذَلِكَ أَمْرًا﴾
“You do not know; perhaps Allah will bring about after that a matter”
When a believer reflects upon this verse, the lights of hope illuminate his heart, and the meanings of optimism blossom in his spirit. It is the same optimism with which the prophets and messengers were distinguished, and with which the wise and righteous adorned themselves. «كَانَ رَسُولُ اللَّهِ ﷺ يُحِبُّ الْفَأْلَ الْحَسَنَ»
Indeed, “The Messenger of Allah ﷺ loved good omens.”
The foremost value and pillar of optimism, and its greatest source and cause, is having a good opinion of Allah (Husn al-Zhann). It is the key to optimism, as the believers reflect upon the words of their Lord in the Sacred Hadith Qudsi: «أَنَا عِنْدَ ظَنِّ عَبْدِي بِي»
“I am as My servant thinks of Me.”
Their hearts find tranquillity, their souls are reassured, and they anticipate good. They hope for righteousness from Allah, and indeed, Allah, Glory be to Him, is as they expect of Him, just as He has promised: ﴿إِنَّ اللَّهَ لَا يُخْلِفُ الْمِيعَادَ﴾
“Indeed, Allah does not fail in His promise.”
Ibn Mas‘ud (may Allah be pleased with him) said:
وَاللَّهِ الَّذِي لَا إِلَهَ إِلَّا هُوَ، مَا أُعْطِيَ عَبْدٌ مُؤْمِنٌ قَطُّ شَيْئًا خَيْرًا مِنْ حُسْنِ الظَّنِّ بِاللَّهِ، وَلَا يُحْسِنُ عَبْدٌ الظَّنَّ إِلَّا أَعْطَاهُ اللَّهُ ظَنَّهُ
“By Allah, there is no servant who is a true believer who has ever been given anything better than having a good opinion of Allah. And no servant maintains a good opinion of Allah except that Allah grants him what he expects of Him.”
Glory be to Him, He manages the affairs of His servants with wisdom and mercy, and He only decrees what is good for them.
Therefore, O servants of Allah, persist in having a good opinion of your Lord in all circumstances, and let your motto be: ﴿حَسْبُنَا اللَّهُ سَيُؤْتِينَا اللَّهُ مِنْ فَضْلِهِ﴾
“Sufficient for us is Allah; He will give us of His bounty.”
Keep optimism present in both your ease and hardship. Have you not heard your Prophet ﷺ say to his companion while they were in the cave, surrounded by dangers: «مَا ظَنُّكَ يَا أَبَا بَكْرٍ بِاثْنَيْنِ اللَّهُ ثَالِثُهُمَا؟»
“What do you think, O Abu Bakr, of two, Allah being the third of them?”.”
This is optimism and having a good opinion of Allah.
And has the story of Umm Salamah (may Allah be pleased with her) not reached you? When she heard the Prophet ﷺ say:
«مَا مِنْ عَبْدٍ تُصِيبُهُ مُصِيبَةٌ، فَيَقُولُ: إِنَّا لِلَّهِ وَإِنَّا إِلَيْهِ رَاجِعُونَ، اللَّهُمَّ أْجُرْنِي فِي مُصِيبَتِي، وَأَخْلِفْ لِي خَيْرًا مِنْهَا، إِلَّا أَجَرَهُ اللَّهُ فِي مُصِيبَتِهِ، وَأَخْلَفَ لَهُ خَيْرًا مِنْهَا»،
“No servant is afflicted with a calamity and says, ‘Indeed we belong to Allah, and indeed to Him we shall return. O Allah, reward me in my affliction and replace it for me with something better,’ except that Allah will reward him in his calamity and replace it for him with something better.
*I Am Pleased by Good Omens*
First Khutbah
All praise is due to Allah, the Most Merciful, the Most Compassionate, who has prescribed for us His straight religion, urging us towards optimism and hope, diligence and action.
We bear witness that there is no god but Allah, and we bear witness that our Prophet Muhammad is the Messenger of Allah, may Allah’s peace and blessings be upon him, his family, his companions, and all those who follow him.
To proceed: I advise you, O servants of Allah, and myself first, to have taqwa of Allah, the Exalted, says: ﴿وَاتَّقُوا اللَّهَ وَعَلَى اللَّهِ فَلْيَتَوَكَّلِ الْمُؤْمِنُونَ﴾
“And fear Allah; and let the believers put their trust in Him.”
O Believers: Optimism is a value that instills joy in the souls, revives the heart with energy, and motivates a person to shape their tomorrow and build their future. Optimism means expecting good from the Lord of the worlds and rejoicing in what is praiseworthy. Allah has opened the gates of hope and optimism for us through Qur’anic verses. He says: ﴿لَا تَدْرِي لَعَلَّ اللَّهَ يُحْدِثُ بَعْدَ ذَلِكَ أَمْرًا﴾
“You do not know; perhaps Allah will bring about after that a matter”
When a believer reflects upon this verse, the lights of hope illuminate his heart, and the meanings of optimism blossom in his spirit. It is the same optimism with which the prophets and messengers were distinguished, and with which the wise and righteous adorned themselves. «كَانَ رَسُولُ اللَّهِ ﷺ يُحِبُّ الْفَأْلَ الْحَسَنَ»
Indeed, “The Messenger of Allah ﷺ loved good omens.”
The foremost value and pillar of optimism, and its greatest source and cause, is having a good opinion of Allah (Husn al-Zhann). It is the key to optimism, as the believers reflect upon the words of their Lord in the Sacred Hadith Qudsi: «أَنَا عِنْدَ ظَنِّ عَبْدِي بِي»
“I am as My servant thinks of Me.”
Their hearts find tranquillity, their souls are reassured, and they anticipate good. They hope for righteousness from Allah, and indeed, Allah, Glory be to Him, is as they expect of Him, just as He has promised: ﴿إِنَّ اللَّهَ لَا يُخْلِفُ الْمِيعَادَ﴾
“Indeed, Allah does not fail in His promise.”
Ibn Mas‘ud (may Allah be pleased with him) said:
وَاللَّهِ الَّذِي لَا إِلَهَ إِلَّا هُوَ، مَا أُعْطِيَ عَبْدٌ مُؤْمِنٌ قَطُّ شَيْئًا خَيْرًا مِنْ حُسْنِ الظَّنِّ بِاللَّهِ، وَلَا يُحْسِنُ عَبْدٌ الظَّنَّ إِلَّا أَعْطَاهُ اللَّهُ ظَنَّهُ
“By Allah, there is no servant who is a true believer who has ever been given anything better than having a good opinion of Allah. And no servant maintains a good opinion of Allah except that Allah grants him what he expects of Him.”
Glory be to Him, He manages the affairs of His servants with wisdom and mercy, and He only decrees what is good for them.
Therefore, O servants of Allah, persist in having a good opinion of your Lord in all circumstances, and let your motto be: ﴿حَسْبُنَا اللَّهُ سَيُؤْتِينَا اللَّهُ مِنْ فَضْلِهِ﴾
“Sufficient for us is Allah; He will give us of His bounty.”
Keep optimism present in both your ease and hardship. Have you not heard your Prophet ﷺ say to his companion while they were in the cave, surrounded by dangers: «مَا ظَنُّكَ يَا أَبَا بَكْرٍ بِاثْنَيْنِ اللَّهُ ثَالِثُهُمَا؟»
“What do you think, O Abu Bakr, of two, Allah being the third of them?”.”
This is optimism and having a good opinion of Allah.
And has the story of Umm Salamah (may Allah be pleased with her) not reached you? When she heard the Prophet ﷺ say:
«مَا مِنْ عَبْدٍ تُصِيبُهُ مُصِيبَةٌ، فَيَقُولُ: إِنَّا لِلَّهِ وَإِنَّا إِلَيْهِ رَاجِعُونَ، اللَّهُمَّ أْجُرْنِي فِي مُصِيبَتِي، وَأَخْلِفْ لِي خَيْرًا مِنْهَا، إِلَّا أَجَرَهُ اللَّهُ فِي مُصِيبَتِهِ، وَأَخْلَفَ لَهُ خَيْرًا مِنْهَا»،
“No servant is afflicted with a calamity and says, ‘Indeed we belong to Allah, and indeed to Him we shall return. O Allah, reward me in my affliction and replace it for me with something better,’ except that Allah will reward him in his calamity and replace it for him with something better.
” When her husband passed away, she followed the Prophet’s ﷺ instruction with certainty, and indeed, the Best of Creation ﷺ married her thereafter.
This is the outcome of every person who maintains hope and trust in their Lord, no matter how severe the trials. As Allah says: ﴿سَيَجْعَلُ اللَّهُ بَعْدَ عُسْرٍ يُسْرًا﴾
“Indeed, Allah will bring about ease after hardship.”
Some of the wise have said: “In every calamity that befalls you, make use of having a good opinion of Allah in its relief.”
The believer continues to maintain a good opinion of his Lord and strives in His obedience, until Allah admits him into Paradise.
O servants of Allah, hope in Allah is among the greatest values of optimism. It is the provision of those who strive on their path, and it drives them to diligence in their work. Without hope, action would cease.
Consider how Prophet Ya‘qub (peace be upon him) commanded his sons to hold onto hope and to take the necessary means while placing sincere trust in Allah. He said his immortal words: ﴿يَا بَنِيَّ اذْهَبُوا فَتَحَسَّسُوا مِنْ يُوسُفَ وَأَخِيهِ وَلَا تَيْأَسُوا مِنْ رَوْحِ اللَّهِ﴾
“O my sons, go and investigate about Yusuf and his brother, and do not despair of Allah’s relief.”
So, plant hope within your children and families, in your workplaces, and in all areas of your lives, so that hope may remain a prevailing moral value, and optimism a firmly established path.
Allah, the Exalted, says: ﴿يَا أَيُّهَا الَّذِينَ آمَنُوا أَطِيعُوا اللَّهَ وَأَطِيعُوا الرَّسُولَ وَأُولِي الْأَمْرِ مِنْكُمْ﴾
“O you who believe, obey Allah and obey the Messenger and those in authority among you.”
I say these words of mine, and I seek Allah’s forgiveness for myself and for you; so, seek His forgiveness.
Second Khutbah
All praise is due to Allah, besides whom there is no deity, and may peace and blessings be upon our Prophet Muhammad, after whom there is no prophet.
To proceed: O believers, among the values of optimism and its causes is rejoicing in good. The believer remains constantly optimistic and cheerful, expecting good in his present and his future. He avoids the whispers of evil and those who promote it, and he keeps in mind the words of his Lord: ﴿لَا تَحْسَبُوهُ شَرًّا لَكُمْ، بَلْ هُوَ خَيْرٌ لَكُمْ﴾
“Do not think it bad for you; rather, it is good for you.”
With this firm certainty, the believer brings happiness upon himself. For this reason, our Prophet ﷺ encouraged us to seek out glad tidings and spread them, saying: «بَشِّرُوا وَلَا تُنَفِّرُوا»
“Give glad tidings and do not repel people.”
Yes, O servants of Allah, spread glad tidings through kind words, words that instill hope in hearts and optimism in souls. The Prophet ﷺ said: : «يُعْجِبُنِي الْفَأْلُ الصَّالِحُ، الْكَلِمَةُ الْحَسَنَةُ»
“I am pleased by a good omen: a kind word.”
How much we are in need of choosing kind words in our dialogue and selecting words of glad tidings in our dealings, such as saying “good,” “rejoice,” «خَيْرٌ» «أَبْشِرْ» and the like, words that stir feelings of optimism within the soul and lay the foundation for positive thinking, which is among the most important values of optimism.
Through this, a person does not stand helpless before challenges; rather, he strives with insight to resolve difficulties. So, will you not adorn yourselves with a positive spirit that leads you toward further progress? By the grace of Allah, you are capable of that, and worthy of it.
And accompany patience and contentment, for they are gateways to goodness and sources of optimism.
‘Umar ibn al-Khattab wrote to Abu Musa al-Ash‘ari (may Allah be pleased with them both): إِنَّ الْخَيْرَ كُلَّهُ فِي الرَّضَا، فَإِنِ اسْتَطَعْتَ أَنْ تَرْضَى، وَإِلَّا فَاصْبِرْ.
“All goodness lies in contentment. If you are able to be content, then do so; otherwise, be patient.”
These, O servants of Allah, are some of the values of optimism: its pulse is hope, its pillar is certainty, and its fruit is success.

O Allah, send Your peace and blessings upon our Prophet Muhammad, upon his family, his companions, and those who follow them. O Allah, be pleased with Abu Bakr, Umar, ‘Uthman, and ‘Ali, and with all the noble Companions.
O Allah, make us believers in You, worshippers devoted to You, repentant to You, adherent to the means and values of optimism, dutiful to our parents; and have mercy upon them as they raised us when we were young, O Most Merciful of the merciful.
O Allah, indeed, the State of the Emirates has not left a path to benevolence except that it has taken it, nor a door to goodness except that it has knocked upon it. How many afflicted it has relieved, how many poor it has comforted, how many needy it has assisted, how many distressed it has brought joy to, and how many orphans it has sponsored, seeking Your Countenance and in gratitude for Your blessings. So, make this a lasting treasure for it and perpetuate Your favour upon it.
O Allah, preserve the State of the Emirates with Your protection, take it under Your care, encompass it with Your providence, and perpetuate its unity and compassion, its stability and prosperity. Protect it from the envy of the envious, the plots of the schemers, the aggression of transgressors, and the evil of enemies and the spiteful, O Lord of the worlds.
O Allah, preserve the one endowed with wisdom, courage, and generous deeds, Sheikh Mohammed bin Zayed, the President of the State, and grant him continued success, support, and sound judgment. Grant success to him, his deputies, his brothers, the Rulers of the Emirates, and his trusted Crown Prince, in all that You love and are pleased with.
O Allah, have mercy upon Sheikh Zayed, Sheikh Rashid, and all the sheikhs of the Emirates who have passed on to Your mercy. Admit them, by Your grace, into the spacious gardens of Paradise, and encompass the martyrs of the nation with Your mercy and forgiveness. O Allah, have mercy upon the Muslim men and Muslim women, those living among them and those who have passed away.
O Allah, send down rain upon us and do not make us among the despairing. O Allah, grant us relief. O Allah, grant us relief. O Allah, grant us relief.
O servants of Allah, remember Allah, the Great and Majestic—He will remember you. Give thanks to Him for His blessings—He will increase you. And establish the prayer.

*يوم العزم*
لخطبة الأولى:
الحمد لله العزيز الشكور، حثنا على عزائم الأمور، ونشهد أن لا إله إلا الله، ونشهد أن سيدنا محمدا رسول الله، صلى الله وسلم وبارك عليه وعلى آله وأصحابه ومن والاه.
أما بعد: فأوصيكم عباد الله ونفسي بتقوى الله، فبها تسمو إرادتكم، ويقوى عزمكم؛ قال تعالى: ﴿وإن تصبروا وتتقوا فإن ذلك من عزم الأمور﴾.
أيها المؤمنون: قيمة نبيلة، وخصلة جليلة، بها تدرك الغايات، وتتحقق النجاحات، وتذلل الصعوبات، وتزول العقبات، لا يحمل لواءها إلا أصحاب الإرادة والقوة، والصبر والهمة؛ إنها قيمة العزم، وتعني: عقد القلب، واستجماع قوى النفس على المضي قدما، برؤية واضحة، وبصيرة مستنيرة، لا تردد فيها ولا اضطراب، وقد كانت هذه الخصلة سمة أعلى الرسل مقاما، بعزمهم الصادق، وثباتهم الراسخ، وصبرهم الجميل، وتجسد معناها في سيد الخلق، وصاحب العزم: سيدنا ونبينا محمد ﷺ، امتثالا لأمر ربه جل وعلا: ﴿فاصبر كما صبر أولو العزم من الرسل﴾ فكان ﷺ إذا عزم لم يتردد في أمره، وإذا مشى لم يلتفت في سيره، وكان من دعائه: «اللهم إني أسألك الثبات في الأمر، والعزيمة على الرشد».
فتأملوا يا عباد الله كيف جمع ﷺ في دعائه بين الثبات والعزم إذ إن صاحب العزم متميز عن غيره، تراه ثابتا في مواقفه، وفيا لمبادئه، ولا عجب؛ فالثبات والعزم عماد كل مقام شريف، وأساس كل نجاح منيف؛ تقوم شجرتهما على جذور همم عالية، ويقوى ساقهما بصبر راسخ، فتؤتي أكلها إنجازا بعد إنجاز، ونجاحا يتلوه نجاح. إنه العزم، يقوى بصلتنا بربنا، وصدق التجائنا، وحسن توكلنا؛ قال عز وجل: ﴿فإذا عزمت فتوكل على الله إن الله يحب المتوكلين﴾ إنه العزم، من اتصف به قويت همته، ووضحت رؤيته، وتحركت نحو المكرمات والفضائل إرادته، إنه العزم، خير كله؛ فهو في العبادة نيتها، وفي العلم الجد في طلبه، وفي الأسرة تماسكها، وفي المجالس سنعها وآدابها، وفي المجتمع تلاحمه، وفي الوطن حمايته، وهو في القيم حارسها، وفي المكرمات تاجها، وفي المواقف نخوتها، وفي الماضي إرثه، وفي المستقبل حسن استشرافه.
عباد الله: إن العزم سلوك إنساني رصين، لا يكون إلا بنبل الأخلاق، وسماحة التعامل، وأشد ما تختبر به العزائم؛ مواطن الشدائد والابتلاءات والأزمات، حيث الحاجة ماسة لتوطين النفس على التحمل، فصاحب العزم صبور حليم، يتجاهل إساءات الحاسدين، ويتسامى عن جهالات المغرضين، قال تعالى: ﴿ولمن صبر وغفر إن ذلك لمن عزم الأمور﴾ ويقوى العزم باستشعار الأجر، والتفكر في العاقبة الحميدة، والنتيجة السعيدة؛ قال تعالى: ﴿فإذا عزم الأمر فلو صدقوا الله لكان خيرا لهم﴾،
ومن كمال العزم الأخذ بالأسباب، والاستعداد الدائم، والإيجابية التي تنفي اليأس والقنوط؛ فاحذروا التسويف، وتجنبوا الشك والتردد، قال الشاعر:
إذا كنت ذا رأي فكن ذا عزيمة *** فإن فساد الرأي أن تترددا
﴿يا أيها الذين آمنوا أطيعوا الله وأطيعوا الرسول وأولي الأمر منكم﴾.
أقول قولي هذا وأستغفر الله لي ولكم فاستغفروه.
الخطبة الثانية:
الحمد لله وحده، والصلاة والسلام على من لا نبي بعده.
أما بعد؛ فيا أيها المؤمنون: إن دولة الإمارات العربية المتحدة دولة إرادة صادقة، وعزم لا يلين؛ عزم في رؤيتها، وعزم في صدقها، وعزم في وفائها، تمضي نحو مستقبلها بخطى واثقة، وعقل واع، وبعمل لا ينقطع، مستمسكة بسنن النجاح، سالكة سبل التفوق، متسلحة بالعلم، مستثمرة في الإنسان، مؤمنة بأن البناء لا يقوم إلا على الأخذ بالأسباب، وحسن الاستعداد؛ فتلك سنة ماضية، ونهج راسخ، وطريق نحو الريادة، لا تثنيها التحديات، ولا تعجزها العقبات، وصدق الشاعر إذ يقول:
على قدر أهل العزم تأتي العزائم *** وتأتي على قدر الكرام المكارم
وفي السابع عشر من يناير، يوم العزم الإماراتي؛ تعتز الإمارات بشعبها الوفي، الذي التف حول قيادته، وآمن برؤيتها، فصنع الإنجازات، وسطرت قواتها المسلحة أروع البطولات، وقدمت أغلى التضحيات، وبرهنت على صدق المحبة لتراب الوطن، فصدق فيهم قول الله تعالى: ﴿من المؤمنين رجال صدقوا ما عاهدوا الله عليه﴾. فوطنوا على العزم أنفسكم، وربوا عليه أولادكم؛ فبه تسبقون غيركم، وتشيدون صرح حضارتكم، ويزداد ازدهار وطنكم.
هذا وصلوا وسلموا على سيدنا ونبينا محمد، اللهم صل وسلم وبارك عليه وعلى آله الطيبين الطاهرين، وارض اللهم عن أبي بكر وعمر وعثمان وعلي، وعن سائر الصحابة الأكرمين.
اللهم إنا نسألك الثبات في الأمر، والعزيمة على الرشد، ونسألك شكر نعمتك، وحسن عبادتك، ونسألك قلبا سليما، ولسانا صادقا، ونسألك من خير ما تعلم، ونعوذ بك من شر ما تعلم.
اللهم ارزقنا الحكمة في القول، والسداد في العمل، واهدنا سبلنا، ويسر أمورنا، وأسعدنا في دنيانا وآخرتنا.
اللهم اجعلنا بك مؤمنين، ولك عابدين،وبوصايا كتابك عاملين، وبالعزم والإرادة متحلين، وبوالدينا بارين، وارحمهم كما ربونا صغارا يا أرحم الراحمين.

لخطبة الأولى:
الحمد لله العزيز الشكور، حثنا على عزائم الأمور، ونشهد أن لا إله إلا الله، ونشهد أن سيدنا محمدا رسول الله، صلى الله وسلم وبارك عليه وعلى آله وأصحابه ومن والاه.
أما بعد: فأوصيكم عباد الله ونفسي بتقوى الله، فبها تسمو إرادتكم، ويقوى عزمكم؛ قال تعالى: ﴿وإن تصبروا وتتقوا فإن ذلك من عزم الأمور﴾.
أيها المؤمنون: قيمة نبيلة، وخصلة جليلة، بها تدرك الغايات، وتتحقق النجاحات، وتذلل الصعوبات، وتزول العقبات، لا يحمل لواءها إلا أصحاب الإرادة والقوة، والصبر والهمة؛ إنها قيمة العزم، وتعني: عقد القلب، واستجماع قوى النفس على المضي قدما، برؤية واضحة، وبصيرة مستنيرة، لا تردد فيها ولا اضطراب، وقد كانت هذه الخصلة سمة أعلى الرسل مقاما، بعزمهم الصادق، وثباتهم الراسخ، وصبرهم الجميل، وتجسد معناها في سيد الخلق، وصاحب العزم: سيدنا ونبينا محمد ﷺ، امتثالا لأمر ربه جل وعلا: ﴿فاصبر كما صبر أولو العزم من الرسل﴾ فكان ﷺ إذا عزم لم يتردد في أمره، وإذا مشى لم يلتفت في سيره، وكان من دعائه: «اللهم إني أسألك الثبات في الأمر، والعزيمة على الرشد».
فتأملوا يا عباد الله كيف جمع ﷺ في دعائه بين الثبات والعزم إذ إن صاحب العزم متميز عن غيره، تراه ثابتا في مواقفه، وفيا لمبادئه، ولا عجب؛ فالثبات والعزم عماد كل مقام شريف، وأساس كل نجاح منيف؛ تقوم شجرتهما على جذور همم عالية، ويقوى ساقهما بصبر راسخ، فتؤتي أكلها إنجازا بعد إنجاز، ونجاحا يتلوه نجاح. إنه العزم، يقوى بصلتنا بربنا، وصدق التجائنا، وحسن توكلنا؛ قال عز وجل: ﴿فإذا عزمت فتوكل على الله إن الله يحب المتوكلين﴾ إنه العزم، من اتصف به قويت همته، ووضحت رؤيته، وتحركت نحو المكرمات والفضائل إرادته، إنه العزم، خير كله؛ فهو في العبادة نيتها، وفي العلم الجد في طلبه، وفي الأسرة تماسكها، وفي المجالس سنعها وآدابها، وفي المجتمع تلاحمه، وفي الوطن حمايته، وهو في القيم حارسها، وفي المكرمات تاجها، وفي المواقف نخوتها، وفي الماضي إرثه، وفي المستقبل حسن استشرافه.
عباد الله: إن العزم سلوك إنساني رصين، لا يكون إلا بنبل الأخلاق، وسماحة التعامل، وأشد ما تختبر به العزائم؛ مواطن الشدائد والابتلاءات والأزمات، حيث الحاجة ماسة لتوطين النفس على التحمل، فصاحب العزم صبور حليم، يتجاهل إساءات الحاسدين، ويتسامى عن جهالات المغرضين، قال تعالى: ﴿ولمن صبر وغفر إن ذلك لمن عزم الأمور﴾ ويقوى العزم باستشعار الأجر، والتفكر في العاقبة الحميدة، والنتيجة السعيدة؛ قال تعالى: ﴿فإذا عزم الأمر فلو صدقوا الله لكان خيرا لهم﴾،
ومن كمال العزم الأخذ بالأسباب، والاستعداد الدائم، والإيجابية التي تنفي اليأس والقنوط؛ فاحذروا التسويف، وتجنبوا الشك والتردد، قال الشاعر:
إذا كنت ذا رأي فكن ذا عزيمة *** فإن فساد الرأي أن تترددا
﴿يا أيها الذين آمنوا أطيعوا الله وأطيعوا الرسول وأولي الأمر منكم﴾.
أقول قولي هذا وأستغفر الله لي ولكم فاستغفروه.
الخطبة الثانية:
الحمد لله وحده، والصلاة والسلام على من لا نبي بعده.
أما بعد؛ فيا أيها المؤمنون: إن دولة الإمارات العربية المتحدة دولة إرادة صادقة، وعزم لا يلين؛ عزم في رؤيتها، وعزم في صدقها، وعزم في وفائها، تمضي نحو مستقبلها بخطى واثقة، وعقل واع، وبعمل لا ينقطع، مستمسكة بسنن النجاح، سالكة سبل التفوق، متسلحة بالعلم، مستثمرة في الإنسان، مؤمنة بأن البناء لا يقوم إلا على الأخذ بالأسباب، وحسن الاستعداد؛ فتلك سنة ماضية، ونهج راسخ، وطريق نحو الريادة، لا تثنيها التحديات، ولا تعجزها العقبات، وصدق الشاعر إذ يقول:
على قدر أهل العزم تأتي العزائم *** وتأتي على قدر الكرام المكارم
وفي السابع عشر من يناير، يوم العزم الإماراتي؛ تعتز الإمارات بشعبها الوفي، الذي التف حول قيادته، وآمن برؤيتها، فصنع الإنجازات، وسطرت قواتها المسلحة أروع البطولات، وقدمت أغلى التضحيات، وبرهنت على صدق المحبة لتراب الوطن، فصدق فيهم قول الله تعالى: ﴿من المؤمنين رجال صدقوا ما عاهدوا الله عليه﴾. فوطنوا على العزم أنفسكم، وربوا عليه أولادكم؛ فبه تسبقون غيركم، وتشيدون صرح حضارتكم، ويزداد ازدهار وطنكم.
هذا وصلوا وسلموا على سيدنا ونبينا محمد، اللهم صل وسلم وبارك عليه وعلى آله الطيبين الطاهرين، وارض اللهم عن أبي بكر وعمر وعثمان وعلي، وعن سائر الصحابة الأكرمين.
اللهم إنا نسألك الثبات في الأمر، والعزيمة على الرشد، ونسألك شكر نعمتك، وحسن عبادتك، ونسألك قلبا سليما، ولسانا صادقا، ونسألك من خير ما تعلم، ونعوذ بك من شر ما تعلم.
اللهم ارزقنا الحكمة في القول، والسداد في العمل، واهدنا سبلنا، ويسر أمورنا، وأسعدنا في دنيانا وآخرتنا.
اللهم اجعلنا بك مؤمنين، ولك عابدين،وبوصايا كتابك عاملين، وبالعزم والإرادة متحلين، وبوالدينا بارين، وارحمهم كما ربونا صغارا يا أرحم الراحمين.
اللهم احفظ دولة الإمارات بحفظك، وتولها برعايتك، واشملها بعنايتك، وأدم استقرارها وازدهارها، وقها حسد الحاسدين، ومكر الماكرين، وعدوان المعتدين، وشر الأعداء والحاقدين، يا رب العالمين.
اللهم احفظ بحفظك صاحب الحكمة والشهامة، والأيادي البيضاء الكريمة، الشيخ محمد بن زايد رئيس الدولة، وأدم عليه التوفيق والسداد والإعانة، ووفقه ونوابه وإخوانه حكام الإمارات، وولي عهده الأمين؛ لما تحبه وترضاه.

*The Day of Determination*
The First Sermon
All praise is due to Allah, the Almighty, the All-Appreciative, who has encouraged us to pursue the most noble and determined of matters. We bear witness that there is no deity worthy of worship except Allah, and we bear witness that our Prophet Muhammad is the Messenger of Allah. May the peace, blessings, and mercies of Allah be upon him, his family, his companions, and all those who follow him.
To proceed:
I advise you, O servants of Allah, and myself, to have Taqwa of Allah. For through Taqwa, your will is elevated, and your determination is strengthened. Allah the Almighty says:
﴿وَإِنْ تَصْبِرُوا وَتَتَّقُوا فَإِنَّ ذَلِكَ مِنْ عَزْمِ الْأُمُورِ﴾
But if you are patient and fear Allah, indeed, that is of the matters [worthy] of determination.
O Believers:
Determination (Al-’Azm) is a noble value and a majestic trait. Through it, goals are attained, successes are achieved, difficulties are subdued, and obstacles are removed. Its banner is carried only by those possessed of will and strength, patience and high ambition.
The essence of determination is the firm resolve of the heart and the gathering of one's inner faculties to move forward with a clear vision and enlightened insight, free from hesitation or instability.
This trait was the hallmark of the Messengers of the highest rank (Ulu al-’Azm), characterized by their sincere resolve, deep-rooted steadfastness, and beautiful patience. Its meaning was perfectly embodied in the leader of creation and the master of determination: our Master and Prophet Muhammad ﷺ, in obedience to the command of his Lord, the Mighty and Sublime:
﴿فَاصْبِرْ كَمَا صَبَرَ أُولُو الْعَزْمِ مِنَ الرُّسُلِ﴾.
So be patient, [O Muhammad], as were those of determination among the messengers...
Thus, when the Prophet ﷺ resolved to do something, he never wavered in his decision; and when he moved forward, he never looked back in his stride. Among his frequent supplications was:
«اللَّهُمَّ إِنِّي أَسْأَلُكَ الثَّبَاتَ فِي الْأَمْرِ، وَالْعَزِيمَةَ عَلَى الرُّشْدِ».
O Allah, I ask You for steadfastness in [all] matters, and the determination to follow the right path.
O servants of Allah, reflect on how the Prophet ﷺ combined steadfastness and determination in his supplication. Indeed, the person of determination stands out from others; you see them firm in their positions and loyal to their principles. And this is no surprise, for steadfastness and determination are the pillars of every noble standing and the foundation of every towering success.
The tree of these two traits is rooted in high ambition, and its trunk is strengthened by deep-rooted patience. Consequently, it yields its fruit as achievement after achievement, and success followed by success.
It is determination, strengthened by our connection to our Lord, the sincerity of our seeking refuge in Him, and the excellence of our reliance upon Him. Allah, the Mighty and Sublime, says:
﴿فَإِذَا عَزَمْتَ فَتَوَكَّلْ عَلَى اللَّهِ إِنَّ اللَّهَ يُحِبُّ الْمُتَوَكِّلِينَ﴾
And when you have decided, then rely upon Allah. Indeed, Allah loves those who rely [upon Him].
It is determination: whoever is characterized by it finds their ambition strengthened, their vision clarified, and their resolve propelled toward noble deeds and virtues.
It is determination, entirely good. In worship, it is the sincerity of intention; in knowledge, it is the diligence in seeking it; in the family, it is its cohesion; in gatherings, it is their etiquette and refinement; in society, it is its solidarity; and in the nation, it is its protection. It is the guardian of values, the crown of noble deeds, gallantry in difficult situations, the heritage of the past, and the wise foresight for the future.
O Servants of Allah:
Determination (Al-’Azm) is a disciplined human conduct that only arises through noble character and gracious dealings.

The ultimate test of one’s resolve lies in times of hardship, trials, and crises, where there is a dire need to train the soul to endure. A person of determination is patient and forbearing; they overlook the offences of the envious and rise above the ignorance of those with ulterior motives. Allah the Almighty says:
﴿وَلَمَنْ صَبَرَ وَغَفَرَ إِنَّ ذَلِكَ لَمِنْ عَزْمِ الْأُمُورِ﴾
And whoever is patient and forgives, indeed, that is of the matters [worthy] of determination.
Determination is strengthened by sensing the divine reward and by reflecting on the praiseworthy ends and the happy outcomes. Allah the Almighty says:
﴿فَإِذَا عَزَمَ الْأَمْرُ فَلَوْ صَدَقُوا اللَّهَ لَكَانَ خَيْرًا لَهُمْ﴾
And when the matter [of fighting] was determined, if they had been true to Allah, it would have been better for them.
Furthermore, the perfection of determination lies in taking the necessary means, maintaining constant readiness, and possessing the positivity that repels despair and despondency. Therefore, beware of procrastination, and avoid doubt and hesitation. As the poet said:
إِذَا كُنْتَ ذَا رَأْيٍ فَكُنْ ذَا عَزِيمَةٍ *** فَإِنَّ فَسَادَ الرَّأْيِ أَنْ تَتَرَدَّدَا
If you possess a sound opinion, then be a person of resolve, for the corruption of an opinion lies in being hesitant.
﴿يَا أَيُّهَا الَّذِينَ آمَنُوا أَطِيعُوا اللَّهَ وَأَطِيعُوا الرَّسُولَ وَأُولِي الْأَمْرِ مِنْكُمْ﴾.
O you who have believed, obey Allah and obey the Messenger and those in authority among you.
I say these words of mine, and I seek forgiveness from Allah for me and for you, so seek His forgiveness.
The Second Sermon
All praise is due to Allah, besides Whom there is no other deity. Peace and blessings be upon our Prophet Muhammad, after whom there is no prophet.
To proceed:
O Believers, the United Arab Emirates is a nation of sincere will and unwavering resolve. This determination is evident in its vision, its sincerity, and its loyalty. It moves toward its future with confident strides, a conscious mind, and continuous work, adhering to the laws of success and following the paths of excellence. It is armed with knowledge, invested in human potential, and firm in the belief that progress is only built upon taking the necessary means and maintaining excellent preparation.
This is an enduring tradition, a deep-rooted approach, and the path toward leadership. It is not deterred by challenges, nor is it hindered by obstacles. As the poet said:
عَلَى قَدْرِ أَهْلِ الْعَزْمِ تَأْتِي الْعَزَائِمُ *** وَتَأْتِي عَلَى قَدْرِ الْكِرَامِ الْمَكَارِمُ
“Great matters are achieved in proportion to the people of resolve, and noble deeds come in proportion to those who are generous and noble.”
On the seventeenth of January, the Day of Emirati Determination (Yawm al-’Azm), the UAE takes pride in its loyal people, who have rallied around their leadership and believed in their vision. Through this unity, they have forged great achievements. Our Armed Forces have inscribed the most magnificent epics of heroism and offered the most precious sacrifices, proving the sincerity of their love for the soil of this homeland. Regarding such people, the words of Allah the Almighty are true:
﴿مِنَ الْمُؤْمِنِينَ رِجَالٌ صَدَقُوا مَا عَاهَدُوا اللَّهَ عَلَيْهِ﴾.
Among the believers are men who have been true to their covenant with Allah.
Therefore, accustom yourselves to determination and instill it in your children. For through it, you shall surpass others, build the edifice of your civilization, and increase the prosperity of your nation.
O Allah, send Your peace, blessings, and grace upon our Prophet Muhammad and upon his pure and noble family. O Allah, be pleased with Abu Bakr, Umar, Uthman, and Ali, and with all the noble Companions.
O Allah, we ask You for steadfastness in all matters, and the determination to follow the right path. We ask You for the ability to be grateful for Your favours and to worship You in the best manner. We ask You for a sound heart and a truthful tongue.

Adorn us with determination and will and make us dutiful to our parents; and have mercy on them as they raised us when we were young, O Most Merciful of those who show mercy.
O Allah, preserve the United Arab Emirates by Your protection; take it into Your care, encompass it with Your providence, and perpetuate its stability and prosperity. Protect it from the envy of the envious, the schemes of the schemers, the aggression of the aggressors, and the evil of enemies and the malicious, O Lord of all worlds.
O Allah, preserve the one endowed with wisdom and courage, the possessor of generous and noble deeds, Sheikh Mohammed bin Zayed, President of the State. Grant him continued success, sound judgment, and support. Grant success to him, his deputies, his brothers, the Rulers of the Emirates, and his trusted Crown Prince, in all that You love and are pleased with.
O Allah, have mercy upon Sheikh Zayed, Sheikh Rashid, and all the sheikhs of the Emirates who have passed on to Your mercy. Admit them, by Your grace, into the vastness of Your Gardens. Encompass the martyrs of the nation with Your mercy and forgiveness.
O Allah, have mercy upon the Muslim men and Muslim women, the living among them and the dead.
O Allah, send down upon us rain, and do not make us among the despairing. O Allah, grant us relief; O Allah, grant us relief; O Allah, grant us relief.
Servants of Allah: remember Allah, the Most Great, the Majestic, and He will remember you; give thanks to Him for His blessings, and He will increase you. And establish the prayer.
O Allah, grant us wisdom in speech and correctness in our deeds. Guide us to our paths, ease our affairs, and grant us happiness in this world and the Hereafter. O Allah, make us true believers in You, sincere worshippers of You, and practitioners of the commandments of Your Book. Adorn us with determination and will and make us dutiful to our parents; and have mercy on them as they raised us when we were young, O Most Merciful of those who show mercy.
O Allah, preserve the United Arab Emirates by Your protection; take it into Your care, encompass it with Your providence, and perpetuate its stability and prosperity. Protect it from the envy of the envious, the schemes of the schemers, the aggression of the aggressors, and the evil of enemies and the malicious, O Lord of all worlds.
O Allah, preserve the one endowed with wisdom and courage, the possessor of generous and noble deeds, Sheikh Mohammed bin Zayed, President of the State. Grant him continued success, sound judgment, and support. _The Month of sha`ban_
*الخطبة الأولى:*
الحمد لله ذي الجلال والإكرام، جعل شعبان شهر عفو وغفران، ونشهد أن لا إله إلا الله، ونشهد أن سيدنا ونبينا محمدا رسول الله، اللهم صل وسلم وبارك عليه وعلى آله وصحبه ومن اتبع هداه.
أما بعد: فأوصيكم عباد الله ونفسي بتقوى الله، قال جل في علاه:﴿يا أيها الناس اعبدوا ربكم الذي خلقكم والذين من قبلكم لعلكم تتقون﴾.
أيها المؤمنون: شهر عظيم القدر، جليل الذكر، أيامه من أفضل الأيام، «يغفل الناس عنه بين رجب ورمضان»، إنه شهر شعبان؛ شهر التزود لرمضان، وميدان السبق إلى الرحمن، كان رسول الله ﷺ يستثمره في الطاعات، ويملأ أوقاته بالقربات، حتى قالت عائشة رضي الله عنها: «كان أحب الشهور إلى رسول الله ﷺ أن يصومه شعبان»، وقالت رضي الله عنها: «ما رأيت رسول الله ﷺ استكمل صيام شهر قط إلا رمضان، وما رأيته في شهر أكثر منه صياما في شعبان».
ولما سئل ﷺ عن ذلك قال: «هو شهر ترفع فيه الأعمال إلى رب العالمين، فأحب أن يرفع عملي وأنا صائم»، نعم، فيه ترفع أعمال العام، فأعظموا قدره، وأحسنوا اغتنامه، وأجيدوا استثماره؛ وأكثروا فيه من التطوع بالصيام، اقتداء بالنبي عليه الصلاة والسلام، فإن من صام يوما ابتغاء وجه الله، «باعد الله وجهه عن النار سبعين خريفا»، وأقبلوا فيه على تلاوة كتاب ربكم، سيرا على درب الصالحين من قبلكم؛ فقد كانوا إذا أقبل شعبان أكبوا على المصاحف؛ تلاوة وتدبرا، ودراسة وتأملا، يحيون بها القلوب، ويزكون بها النفوس، ويقولون: شهر شعبان شهر القراء. يبتغون الأجر من رب الأرض والسماء، قال رسول الله ﷺ: «من قرأ حرفا من كتاب الله فله به حسنة، والحسنة بعشر أمثالها، لا أقول الم حرف، ولكن ألف حرف، ولام حرف، وميم حرف».
فقارئ القرآن يزداد به حسنات على حسنات، ويرتقي عند الله درجات فوق درجات، وتعلو به منزلته، وتسمو مكانته؛ قال النبي ﷺ: «يقال لصاحب القرآن: اقرأ وارتق ورتل كما كنت ترتل في الدنيا، فإن منزلك عند آخر آية تقرؤها».
وإذا طويتم مصاحفكم، فاملؤوا بالاستغفار صحائفكم، واعمروا به أوقاتكم، رغبة في مغفرة ربكم، وثقة بوعد نبيكم، القائل ﷺ: «طوبى لمن وجد في صحيفته استغفارا كثيرا».
﴿يا أيها الذين آمنوا أطيعوا الله وأطيعوا الرسول وأولي الأمر منكم﴾.
أقول قولي هذا وأستغفر الله لي ولكم فاستغفروه.
*الخطبة الثانية:*
الحمد للهوحده، والصلاة والسلام على من لا نبي بعده.
أما بعد: فيا أيها المصلون: «تعرضوا لنفحات رحمة الله، فإن لله نفحات من رحمته»، ومن أعظم نفحات الرحمن في شهر شعبان: مغفرته سبحانه لأهل الإيمان والإحسان، فإنه يطلع إليهم في ليلة النصف منه، اطلاع عفو ورحمة، ويبسط لهم مغفرته، قال النبي ﷺ: «إن الله ليطلع في ليلة النصف من شعبان، فيغفر لجميع خلقه إلا لمشرك أو مشاحن»، فتأملوا، كيف تحجب المغفرة عمن حمل في قلبه شحناء، أو أضمر في صدره بغضاء، وانظروا كيف يخسر أجر حسناته؛ من بسط بالسوء لسانه، فيحرم من ثوابه، ولا تنفعه صالحات أعماله، قيل للنبي ﷺ: يا رسول الله! إن فلانة تقوم الليل وتصوم النهار، وتفعل، وتصدق، وتؤذي جيرانها بلسانها، فقال ﷺ: «لا خير فيها، هي من أهل النار»، وذلك لعظم جرمها، فلم تغن عنها صلاتها، ولا نفعها صيامها، ولا قبلت منها صدقاتها؛ إذ كانت من المعتدين بالإساءة إلى غيرها. ويدخل في ذلك كل من آذى الناس بلسانه، أو برسائل يخطها ببنانه، أو بإساءات يبثها عبر وسائل تواصله، فالله الله في أنفسكم، احفظوا ثواب أعمالكم، وصونوا حسناتكم، واطلبوا مغفرة ربكم، بعفوكم عن غيركم، فما استجلب عفو الله بمثل العفو عن العباد، كما قال الصادق المصدوق ﷺ: «اغفروا يغفر الله لكم».
هذا وصل اللهم وسلم وبارك على سيدنا ونبينا محمد، وعلى آله وصحبه والتابعين، وارض اللهم عن أبي بكر وعمر وعثمان وعلي، وعن سائر الصحابة الأكرمين.
اللهم إنا نسألك أن ترفع قدرنا، وتيسر أمورنا، وتوسع أرزاقنا، وتبارك في أزواجنا وأولادنا، وفي وطننا وبلادنا، وأن تشفي مرضانا، وأن ترحم موتانا. اللهم اجعلنا بك مؤمنين، ولك عابدين،ولشعبان مستثمرين، وعن غيرنا عافين، وبعفوك فائزين، وبوالدينا بارين، وارحمهم كما ربونا صغارا يا أرحم الراحمين.
اللهم احفظ دولة الإمارات بحفظك، وتولها برعايتك، واشملها بعنايتك، وأدم تلاحمها وتراحمها، واستقرارها وازدهارها، وقها حسد الحاسدين، ومكر الماكرين، وعدوان المعتدين، وشر الأعداء والحاقدين، يا رب العالمين.
اللهم احفظ بحفظك صاحب الحكمة والشهامة، والأيادي البيضاء الكريمة، الشيخ محمد بن زايد رئيس الدولة، وأدم عليه السداد والإعانة، ووفقه ونوابه وإخوانه حكام الإمارات، وولي عهده الأمين؛ لما تحبه وترضاه.

✨*شهر شعبان*✨
_The Month of sha`ban_
The First Khutba:
All praise is for Allah, the Possessor of Majesty and Honor. He has made Shaʿbān a month of pardon and forgiveness. We bear witness that there is no deity worthy of worship except Allah, and we bear witness that our master and our Prophet Muḥammad is the Messenger of Allah. O Allah, send Your blessings, peace, and abundant grace upon him, upon his family, his Companions, and all who follow his guidance.
To proceed:
O servants of Allah, I advise you and I advise myself to have taqwā of Allah. Allah Most High says:
يَا أَيُّهَا النَّاسُ اعْبُدُوا رَبَّكُمُ الَّذِي خَلَقَكُمْ وَالَّذِينَ مِنْ قَبْلِكُمْ لَعَلَّكُمْ تَتَّقُونَ
“O mankind, worship your Lord who created you and those before you, that you may become mindful (of Him).”
O believers:
This is a month of immense rank and exalted remembrance. Its days are among the most virtuous of days. It is a month that people often neglect between Rajab and Ramaḍān. As the Prophet ﷺ said:
يَغْفُلُ النَّاسُ عَنْهُ بَيْنَ رَجَبٍ وَرَمَضَانَ
“It is a month that people are heedless of, between Rajab and Ramaḍān.”
Indeed, it is the month of Shaʿbān: the month of preparing provisions for Ramaḍān, the field of racing toward the Most Merciful.
The Messenger of Allah ﷺ would invest this month in acts of obedience and fill its hours with closeness to Allah. Until ʿĀʾishah (may Allah be pleased with her) said:
كَانَ أَحَبَّ الشُّهُورِ إِلَى رَسُولِ اللَّهِ ﷺ أَنْ يَصُومَهُ شَعْبَانُ
“The most beloved month for the Messenger of Allah ﷺ to fast was Shaʿbān.”
And she also said:
مَا رَأَيْتُ رَسُولَ اللَّهِ ﷺ اسْتَكْمَلَ صِيَامَ شَهْرٍ قَطُّ إِلاَّ رَمَضَانَ، وَمَا رَأَيْتُهُ فِي شَهْرٍ أَكْثَرَ مِنْهُ صِيَامًا فِي شَعْبَانَ
“I never saw the Messenger of Allah ﷺ complete the fasting of any month except Ramaḍān, and I never saw him fast more in any month than he fasted in Shaʿbān.”
When he ﷺ was asked about this, he said:
هُوَ شَهْرٌ تُرْفَعُ فِيهِ الْأَعْمَالُ إِلَى رَبِّ الْعَالَمِينَ، فَأُحِبُّ أَنْ يُرْفَعَ عَمَلِي وَأَنَا صَائِمٌ
“That is a month in which deeds are raised to the Lord of the worlds, and I love that my deeds be raised while I am fasting.”
Yes, in this month the deeds of the entire year are raised. So magnify its worth, honor its time, and make excellent use of it. Increase in voluntary fasting, following the example of the Prophet ﷺ, for whoever fasts a day seeking the Face of Allah:
بَاعَدَ اللَّهُ وَجْهَهُ عَنِ النَّارِ سَبْعِينَ خَرِيفًا
“Allah will distance his face from the Fire by seventy years.”
And turn eagerly in this month to the recitation of the Book of your Lord, following the path of the righteous before you. For they, when Shaʿbān would arrive, would devote themselves to the Qurʾān: reciting, reflecting, studying, and contemplating—reviving hearts through it and purifying souls. They would say: “Shaʿbān is the month of the Qurʾān reciters.”
They sought reward from the Lord of the heavens and the earth. In accordance with the Messenger of Allah ﷺ who said:
مَنْ قَرَأَ حَرْفًا مِنْ كِتَابِ اللَّهِ فَلَهُ بِهِ حَسَنَةٌ، وَالْحَسَنَةُ بِعَشْرِ أَمْثَالِهَا، لَا أَقُولُ الم حَرْفٌ، وَلَكِنْ
أَلِفٌ حَرْفٌ، وَلَامٌ حَرْفٌ، وَمِيمٌ حَرْفٌ
“Whoever recites one letter from the Book of Allah will have one good deed, and one good deed is multiplied tenfold. I do not say ‘Alif Lām Mīm’ is a letter, but Alif is a letter, Lām is a letter, and Mīm is a letter.”
So, the reciter of the Qurʾān increases in good deeds upon good deeds, rises in ranks upon ranks with Allah, his status is elevated, and his station is ennobled. The Prophet ﷺ said:
يُقَالُ لِصَاحِبِ الْقُرْآنِ: اقْرَأْ وَارْتَقِ وَرَتِّلْ كَمَا كُنْتَ تُرَتِّلُ فِي الدُّنْيَا، فَإِنَّ مَنْزِلَكَ عِنْدَ آخِرِ آيَةٍ تَقْرَؤُهَا
“It will be said to the companion of the Qurʾān: Recite and rise, and recite as you used to recite in the world, for your rank will be at the last verse you recite.”
And when you close your Qurʾān, then fill your records with seeking forgiveness (istighfār).

We bear witness that there is no deity worthy of worship except Allah, and we bear witness that our master and our Prophet Muḥammad is the Messenger of Allah. O Allah, send Your blessings, peace, and abundant grace upon him, upon his family, his Companions, and all who follow his guidance.
To proceed:
O servants of Allah, I advise you and I advise myself to have taqwā of Allah. Allah Most High says:
يَا أَيُّهَا النَّاسُ اعْبُدُوا رَبَّكُمُ الَّذِي خَلَقَكُمْ وَالَّذِينَ مِنْ قَبْلِكُمْ لَعَلَّكُمْ تَتَّقُونَ
“O mankind, worship your Lord who created you and those before you, that you may become mindful (of Him).”
O believers:
This is a month of immense rank and exalted remembrance. Its days are among the most virtuous of days. It is a month that people often neglect between Rajab and Ramaḍān. As the Prophet ﷺ said:
يَغْفُلُ النَّاسُ عَنْهُ بَيْنَ رَجَبٍ وَرَمَضَانَ
“It is a month that people are heedless of, between Rajab and Ramaḍān.”
Indeed, it is the month of Shaʿbān: the month of preparing provisions for Ramaḍān, the field of racing toward the Most Merciful.
The Messenger of Allah ﷺ would invest this month in acts of obedience and fill its hours with closeness to Allah. Until ʿĀʾishah (may Allah be pleased with her) said:
كَانَ أَحَبَّ الشُّهُورِ إِلَى رَسُولِ اللَّهِ ﷺ أَنْ يَصُومَهُ شَعْبَانُ
“The most beloved month for the Messenger of Allah ﷺ to fast was Shaʿbān.”
And she also said:
مَا رَأَيْتُ رَسُولَ اللَّهِ ﷺ اسْتَكْمَلَ صِيَامَ شَهْرٍ قَطُّ إِلاَّ رَمَضَانَ، وَمَا رَأَيْتُهُ فِي شَهْرٍ أَكْثَرَ مِنْهُ صِيَامًا فِي شَعْبَانَ
“I never saw the Messenger of Allah ﷺ complete the fasting of any month except Ramaḍān, and I never saw him fast more in any month than he fasted in Shaʿbān.”
When he ﷺ was asked about this, he said:
هُوَ شَهْرٌ تُرْفَعُ فِيهِ الْأَعْمَالُ إِلَى رَبِّ الْعَالَمِينَ، فَأُحِبُّ أَنْ يُرْفَعَ عَمَلِي وَأَنَا صَائِمٌ
“That is a month in which deeds are raised to the Lord of the worlds, and I love that my deeds be raised while I am fasting.”
Yes, in this month the deeds of the entire year are raised. So magnify its worth, honor its time, and make excellent use of it. Increase in voluntary fasting, following the example of the Prophet ﷺ, for whoever fasts a day seeking the Face of Allah:
بَاعَدَ اللَّهُ وَجْهَهُ عَنِ النَّارِ سَبْعِينَ خَرِيفًا
“Allah will distance his face from the Fire by seventy years.”
And turn eagerly in this month to the recitation of the Book of your Lord, following the path of the righteous before you. For they, when Shaʿbān would arrive, would devote themselves to the Qurʾān: reciting, reflecting, studying, and contemplating—reviving hearts through it and purifying souls. They would say: “Shaʿbān is the month of the Qurʾān reciters.”
They sought reward from the Lord of the heavens and the earth. In accordance with the Messenger of Allah ﷺ who said:
مَنْ قَرَأَ حَرْفًا مِنْ كِتَابِ اللَّهِ فَلَهُ بِهِ حَسَنَةٌ، وَالْحَسَنَةُ بِعَشْرِ أَمْثَالِهَا، لَا أَقُولُ الم حَرْفٌ، وَلَكِنْ
أَلِفٌ حَرْفٌ، وَلَامٌ حَرْفٌ، وَمِيمٌ حَرْفٌ
“Whoever recites one letter from the Book of Allah will have one good deed, and one good deed is multiplied tenfold. I do not say ‘Alif Lām Mīm’ is a letter, but Alif is a letter, Lām is a letter, and Mīm is a letter.”
So, the reciter of the Qurʾān increases in good deeds upon good deeds, rises in ranks upon ranks with Allah, his status is elevated, and his station is ennobled. The Prophet ﷺ said:
يُقَالُ لِصَاحِبِ الْقُرْآنِ: اقْرَأْ وَارْتَقِ وَرَتِّلْ كَمَا كُنْتَ تُرَتِّلُ فِي الدُّنْيَا، فَإِنَّ مَنْزِلَكَ عِنْدَ آخِرِ آيَةٍ تَقْرَؤُهَا
“It will be said to the companion of the Qurʾān: Recite and rise, and recite as you used to recite in the world, for your rank will be at the last verse you recite.”
And when you close your Qurʾān, then fill your records with seeking forgiveness (istighfār).
Occupy your times with it, longing for the forgiveness of your Lord, and trusting in the promise of your Prophet ﷺ, who said:
طُوبَى لِمَنْ وَجَدَ فِي صَحِيفَتِهِ اسْتِغْفَارًا كَثِيرًا
“Glad tidings to the one who finds abundant seeking of forgiveness in his record.”
Allah Most High says: “O you who believe, obey Allah and obey the Messenger and those in authority among you.” I say these words of mine, and I seek forgiveness from Allah for myself and for you, so seek His forgiveness; indeed, He is the Most Forgiving, the Most Merciful.
The Second Khutba:
All praise is for Allah alone, and blessings and peace be upon the one after whom there is no prophet.
To proceed:
O worshippers:
«تَعَرَّضُوا لِنَفَحَاتِ رَحْمَةِ اللَّهِ، فَإِنَّ لِلَّهِ نَفَحَاتٍ مِنْ رَحْمَتِهِ
“Expose yourselves to the breezes of the mercy of Allah, for indeed Allah has breezes from His mercy.”
And among the greatest of the breezes of the Most Merciful in the month of Shaʿbān is His forgiveness, exalted is He, for the people of faith and excellence. For He looks upon them on the night of the middle of it, a gaze of pardon and mercy, and He spreads for them His forgiveness.
The Prophet ﷺ said:
إِنَّ اللَّهَ لَيَطَّلِعُ فِي لَيْلَةِ النِّصْفِ مِنْ شَعْبَانَ، فَيَغْفِرُ لِجَمِيعِ خَلْقِهِ إِلَّا لِمُشْرِكٍ أَوْ مُشَاحِنٍ
“Indeed Allah looks at His creation on the night of the middle of Shaʿbān, and He forgives all of His creation except a polytheist or one who harbors hatred.”
So reflect: how forgiveness is withheld from the one who carries rancor in his heart, or harbors hatred in his breast. And consider how one loses the reward of his good deeds when he unleashes his tongue with harm, thereby being deprived of his reward, and his righteous actions do not benefit him.
It was said to the Prophet ﷺ: “O Messenger of Allah! Such-and-such woman prays at night, fasts by day, gives charity, and does good deeds, but she harms her neighbors with her tongue.” He ﷺ said:
لَا خَيْرَ فِيهَا، هِيَ مِنْ أَهْلِ النَّارِ
“There is no good in her. She is among the people of the Fire.” (Reported by Aḥmad and others)
That is due to the gravity of her crime. Her prayer did not benefit her, her fasting did not avail her, and her charity was not accepted from her, because she was among those who transgress by harming others.
And this includes everyone who harms people with his tongue, or with messages he writes by his fingers, or with abuses he spreads through his means of communication. So fear Allah concerning yourselves. Preserve the reward of your deeds, protect your good works, and seek the forgiveness of your Lord by forgiving others. For Allah’s pardon is not sought by anything like pardoning His servants. As the truthful and trusted one ﷺ said:
اغْفِرُوا يَغْفِرُ اللَّهُ لَكُمْ
“Forgive, and Allah will forgive you.”
And send blessings, O Allah, and peace and barakah upon our master and our Prophet Muḥammad, and upon his family, his Companions, and those who follow them. And be pleased, O Allah, with Abū Bakr, ʿUmar, ʿUthmān, and ʿAlī, and with all the noble Companions. O Allah, we ask You to raise our rank, to make our affairs easy, to expand our provision, to bless our spouses and our children, and to bless our homeland and our lands. O Allah, cure our sick, and have mercy upon our deceased.
O Allah, make us believers through You, worshippers for You, ones who make full use of Shaʿbān, those who pardon others, those who attain victory through Your pardon, those who are dutiful to our parents. And have mercy upon them as they raised us when we were small, O Most Merciful of the merciful.
O Allah, preserve the UAE with Your protection, take it under Your care, envelop it with Your concern, perpetuate its unity and mutual compassion, its stability and prosperity, and protect it from the envy of the envious, the schemes of the schemers, the aggression of the aggressors, and the evil of enemies and the spiteful, O Lord of all worlds.
