✨*والذين هم للزكاة فاعلون*✨“And those who actively give zakāh”

الْحَمْدُ لِلَّهِ وَاسِعِ الْفَضْلِ وَالْعَطَاءِ، جَعَلَ فِي الزَّكَاةِ الْبَرَكَةَ وَالنَّمَاءَ، وَالطُّهْرَ وَالصَّفَاءَ، وَنَشْهَدُ أَنْ لَا إِلَهَ إِلَّا اللَّهُ رَبُّ الْأَرْضِ وَالسَّمَاءِ، وَنَشْهَدُ أَنَّ سَيِّدَنَا وَنَبِيَّنَا مُحَمَّدًا خَاتَمُ الْأَنْبِيَاءِ، اللَّهُمَّ صَلِّ وَسَلِّمْ وَبَارِكْ عَلَيْهِ وَعَلَى آلِهِ وَصَحْبِهِ الْأَتْقِيَاءِ، وَعَلَى مَنِ اتَّبَعَ هَدْيَهُمْ بِإِحْسَانٍ إِلَى يَوْمِ الْجَزَاءِ. أَمَّا بَعْدُ:

فَأُوصِيكُمْ عِبَادَ اللَّهِ وَنَفْسِي بِتَقْوَى اللَّهِ رَبِّكُمْ، وَأَدَاءِ زَكَاةِ أَمْوَالِكُمْ، لِتَفُوزُوا بِرَحْمَةِ خَالِقِكُمُ، الْقَائِلِ سُبْحَانَهُ: ﴿وَرَحْمَتِي وَسِعَتْ كُلَّ شَيْءٍ فَسَأَكْتُبُهَا لِلَّذِينَ يَتَّقُونَ وَيُؤْتُونَ الزَّكَاةَ وَالَّذِينَ هُمْ بِآيَاتِنَا يُؤْمِنُونَ﴾.



عزیزانِ مَن، اَصحابِ ایمان! عبادات میں ایک نہایت عظیم المرتبت عبادت ہے، قُربتِ خداوندی کے حصول کا ایک جلیل القدر ذریعہ ہے، ایک حَتمی و قَطعی فریضہ ہے، شعائرِ اِسلام میں سے ایک عظیم الشان شِعار ہے، جو کارہائے خیر میں سب اَفضل اور اَبوابِ بِرّ و اِحسان میں سب سے اَعلی و اَرفع ہے، میرے بھائیو! یہ زکوٰۃ ہے جو اَرکانِ اسلام میں سے ایک اہم رُکن ہے، اِسلام کے اِتمام و اِکمال کے مظاہر میں سے ایک عظیم مظہر ہے، نبیِ کریم صاحب خُلُق عظیم صلی اللہ علیہ وسلم نے فرمایا: «‌مِنْ ‌تَمَامِ ‌إِسْلَامِكُمْ: أَنْ تُؤَدُّوا زَكَاةَ أَمْوَالِكُمْ»، اپنے مالوں کی زکوٰۃ دینے سے تمہارے اسلام کی تکمیل ہو گی.

اللہ رب العزت نے زکوۃ کی اہمیت کو اُجاگر کرنے کے لیے، اور اُسکی اَدائیگی میں کمی کوتاہی سے ڈرانے کے لیے، قرآن مجید میں اٹھائیس مقامات پر اُسکی پُرزور تاکید فرمائی اور زکوٰۃ و نماز کو ساتھ ساتھ ذکر فرمایا، ارشادِ باری تعالیٰ ہے: ﴿وَأَقِيمُوا الصَّلَاةَ وَءَاتُوا الزَّكَاةَ﴾، اور نماز قائم کرو اور زکوٰۃ ادا کرو. نِیز رب تعالیٰ نے زکوٰۃ کی ادائیگی کو ایمان کی صداقت کی نُمایاں دلیل قرار دیا، اور قرآنِ مجید کی آیات کو اِس پر شاہد بنایا، ارشادِ باری تعالیٰ ہے: ﴿قَدْ أَفْلَحَ الْمُؤْمِنُونَ الَّذِينَ هُمْ فِي صَلَاتِهِمْ خَاشِعُونَ وَالَّذِينَ هُمْ عَنِ اللَّغْوِ مُعْرِضُونَ وَالَّذِينَ هُمْ لِلزَّكَاةِ فَاعِلُونَ﴾، .ایمان والوں نے یقیناً فلاح پا لی ہے، جو اپنی نماز میں دل سے جُھکنے والے ہیں، اور جو لغو چیزوں سے منہ موڑے ہوئے ہیں، اور جو زکوٰۃ پر عمل کرنے والے ہیں.

میرے بھائیو! جو اللہ رب العزت پر ایمان رکھتے ہوئے زکوٰۃ ادا کرتا ہے، باری تعالیٰ سے اُسکے اجر وثواب کی امید رکھتا ہے، وہ اپنے دل میں ایک خاص قسم کی مٹھاس محسوس کرتا ہے، آپ علیہ السلام کا ارشاد ہے: «ثَلَاثٌ مَنْ فَعَلَهُنَّ فَقَدْ طَعِمَ طَعْمَ الْإِيمَانِ -وَذَكَرَ مِنْهَا- وَأَعْطَى زَكَاةَ مَالِهِ طَيِّبَةً بِهَا نَفْسُهُ»، .جس نے تین کام کیے، اس نے ایمان کا ذائقہ چکھ لیا -اور اس میں سے ایک یہ ذکر فرمایا- اور جس نے دل کی خوشی سے اپنے مال کی زکوٰۃ ادا کی.

دل و جان سے راہِ خُدا میں خرچ کرنے والو! یاد رکھو، کہ زکوٰۃ کی اَدائیگی مال کو بڑھاتی ہے، دل کو بُخل سے پاک کرتی ہے، اور نفس کو کِینہ و حَسَد سے نجات دلاتی ہے، ارشادِ باری تعالیٰ ہے: ﴿خُذْ مِنْ أَمْوَالِهِمْ صَدَقَةً تُطَهِّرُهُمْ وَتُزَكِّيهِمْ بِهَا﴾،، (اے پیغمبر) ان لوگوں کے اموال میں سے صدقہ وصول کرلو جس کے ذریعے تم انہیں پاک کردو گے اور ان کے لیے باعث برکت بنو گے.

لہٰذا زکوۃ تو آپکے مال و دولت کی حفاظت کا ذریعہ ہے، آپکے رزق میں برکت و وُسعت کا مضبوط حِصار ہے، آپ پر ربِّ رحمن کی نعمتوں کے دوام کا راستہ ہے، اور مصائب و آفات سے بچاؤ کا سبب ہے، کیا آپ نے رسول اللہ صلی اللہ علیہ وسلم کا یہ ارشاد نہیں سنا: «مَنْ أَدَّى زَكَاةَ مَالِهِ، فَقَدْ ذَهَبَ عَنْهُ شَرُّهُ»، جس نے اپنے مال کی زکوٰۃ ادا کر دی، اس سے اس کے مال کا شر جاتا رہا.

میرے بھائیو! زکوۃ کی ادائیگی اَفرادِ معاشرہ کے مابین باہمی اُلفت و اتحاد کے پُل قائم کرتی ہے، مستحقین کی کفالت اور اُنکے ساتھ ہمدردی کے ایسے رشتے اُستوار کرتی ہے، جن سے دلوں میں جوڑ پیدا ہوتا ہے، حقداروں کے حقوق ادا ہوتے ہیں، رسول اللہ صلی اللہ علیہ وسلم کا ارشاد ہے: «تُخْرِجُ الزَّكَاةَ مِنْ مَالِكَ، فَإِنَّهَا طُهْرَةٌ تُطَهِّرُكَ، وَتَصِلُ أَقْرِبَاءَكَ، وَتَعْرِفُ حَقَّ السَّائِلِ وَالْجَارِ وَالْمِسْكِينِ»، .اپنے مال کی زکوٰۃ نکالا کرو کہ اس سے تمہارا مال پاکیزہ ہوجائے گا، اور اپنے قریبی رشتہ داروں سے صلہ رحمی کیا کرو، اور سائل، پڑوسی اور مسکینوں کو ان کا حق دیا کرو.

اسی طرح ربِّ کریم نے زکوۃ ادا کرنے والوں سے یہ بھی وعدہ فرمایا ہے کہ وہ اُنکے مالوں کو نقصان وضیاع سے محفوظ رکھے گا، آپ علیہ السلام کا ارشاد ہے: «مَا ‌نَقَصَتْ ‌صَدَقَةٌ ‌مِنْ ‌مَالٍ»،، صدقہ مال کو کم نہیں کرتا.

میرے بھائیو! صرف یہی نہیں بلکہ ربّ کریم اُنکو بے پناہ اَجر و ثواب سے نوازتا ہے، اُنکے خرچ کیے ہوئے کو کئی گُنا بڑھاتا ہے، اُس کا قول سَچ ہے، اور اُسکا وعدہ بَر حق ہے، ارشادِ رَبِّ قدیر ہے: ﴿وَمَا آتَيْتُمْ مِنْ زَكَاةٍ تُرِيدُونَ وَجْهَ اللَّهِ فَأُولَئِكَ هُمُ الْمُضْعِفُونَ﴾، اور جو زکوٰۃ تم اللہ کی خوشنودی حاصل کرنے کے ارادے سے دیتے ہو، تو جو لوگ بھی ایسا کرتے ہیں وہ ہیں جو کئی گنا بڑھا لیتے ہیں. یعنی: یہ وہ لوگ ہیں کہ اللہ تعالیٰ اُنکے اَجر و ثواب کو کئی گُنا بڑھا دیتا ہے.

لہٰذا میرے دوستو! اپنے خالق و رازق کی عطاؤں کو غنیمت جانیے، اُسکے حکم کے مطابق زکوٰۃ کی ادائیگی میں جلدی کیجیے، تاکہ آپ فرشتوں کی دعاؤں کے حقدار بن سکیں، کیا نبی پاک صلی اللہ علیہ وسلم کا یہ فرمان آپکے گوش گزار نہ ہوا؟ «مَا مِنْ يَوْمٍ يُصْبِحُ الْعِبَادُ فِيهِ إِلَّا مَلَكَانِ يَنْزِلَانِ، فَيَقُولُ أَحَدُهُمَا: اللَّهُمَّ أَعْطِ مُنْفِقًا خَلَفًا، وَيَقُولُ الْآخَرُ: اللَّهُمَّ أَعْطِ مُمْسِكًا تَلَفًا»، کوئی دن ایسا نہیں جاتا کہ جب بندے صبح کو اٹھتے ہوں تو دو فرشتے آسمان سے نہ اترتے ہوں، ایک فرشتہ کہتا ہے: کہ يا اللہ! خرچ کرنے والے کو اس کا بدلہ دے، اور دوسرا کہتا ہے: کہ يا اللہ! روک کر رکھنے والے کے مال کو ہلاک و بربادکردے.

﴿يَا أَيُّهَا الَّذِينَ آمَنُوا أَطِيعُوا اللَّهَ وَأَطِيعُوا الرَّسُولَ وَأُولِي الْأَمْرِ مِنْكُمْ﴾..

أَقُولُ قَوْلِي هَذَا وَأَسْتَغْفِرُ اللَّهَ لِي وَلَكُمْ فَاسْتَغْفِرُوهُ. 
الخطبة الثانية:

الْحَمْدُ لِلَّهِ وَحْدَهُ، وَالصَّلَاةُ وَالسَّلَامُ عَلَى مَنْ لَا نَبِيَّ بَعْدَهُ. أَمَّا بَعْدُ:

عزیز بھائیو، زکوٰۃ ادا کرنے والو! اپنے اَموال کی زکوٰۃ جلد اَدا کیجیے؛ تاکہ مُحتاجوں کی اِعانت ہو اور وہ رمضان سے قَبل ہی اپنے معاملاتِ زندگی بہتر کر سکیں، اور آپ بھی ربّ رحمن کے نزدیک اپنے فرض کی اَدائیگی سے سُبُک دوش ہو سکیں، اور اِس بات سے ڈریے کہ کہیں آپکا مال آپکے اور آپکے رب کے درمیان کوئی رُکاوٹ حائل نہ کر دے، کہیں ایسا نہ ہو کہ شیطان آپکو زکوۃ کی ادائیگی سے روک دے.

تو اُن لوگوں کے پاس کیا عذر ہے جو زکوۃ کو اُسکے مقررہ وقت سے ٹال دیتے ہیں؟ یا اُسکی اَدائیگی میں لا پرواہی اور سُستی سے کام لیتے ہیں؟ کیا وہ رب تعالٰی کی اِس سخت وعید سے غفلت میں پڑے ہوئے ہیں جو اُس نے زکوۃ نہ دینے والوں کے لیے اپنے اس قول میں ارشاد فرمائی ہے؟: ﴿وَالَّذِينَ يَكْنِزُونَ الذَّهَبَ وَالْفِضَّةَ وَلَا يُنْفِقُونَهَا فِي سَبِيلِ اللَّهِ فَبَشِّرْهُمْ بِعَذَابٍ أَلِيمٍ﴾، اور جو لوگ سونے چاندی کو جمع کر کر کے رکھتے ہیں، اور اس کو اللہ کے راستے میں خرچ نہیں کرتے، ان کو ایک دردناک عذاب کی خوشخبری سنا دو.

میرے بھائیو! اتنی سخت وعید اس لیے ارشاد فرمائی کیونکہ زکوۃ کو روکنا در حقیقت اللہ تعالیٰ کے فرض کردہ حق پہ دَست درازی کرنا ہے، اور اُسکی ادائیگی نہ کرنا رب تعالیٰ کی عطاؤں اور اُسکی خیر و برکات کو روکنے کا سبب ہے، نبی کریم صلی اللہ علیہ وسلم نے فرمایا: «وَلَمْ يَمْنَعُوا زَكَاةَ أَمْوَالِهِمْ إِلَّا مُنِعُوا الْقَطْرَ مِنَ السَّمَاءِ»، اور جب لوگ اپنے مالوں کی زکاة دینا بند کر دیتے ہیں تو آسمان کی بارش بھی اُن سے روک لی جاتی ہے.

تو خُدارا! رب تعالٰی کی رضا کے لیے، اُسکے فضل و کرم کی بھیک مانگتے ہوئے، اپنے مالوں کی زکوۃ ادا کیجیے، اور اللہ رب العزت نے جو تھوڑے سے مال کی ادائیگی آپ پر فرض کی ہے اُسکی فِکر میں مبتلا نہ ہوں، بلکہ یہ دیکھیے کہ اُس نے کتنا خیرِ کثیر، مال و اَسباب كو اِس چھوٹی سی رقم کی ادائیگی سے آپکے لیے پاکیزہ و محفوظ بنا دیا ہے، آپکی یہ سوچ، یہ طرزِ فکر آپکے دل کو اطمینان اور خوشی بخشے گا، اور یہ خوشی اور دِلی فَرحت آپکے لیے جنت کے دروازے کھول دے گی، حَبیبِ مصطفٰی اَحمدِ مُجتبی جنابِ رسول اللہ صلی اللہ علیہ وسلم کا ارشاد ہے: «مَنْ لَقِيَ اللَّهَ لَا يُشْرِكُ بِهِ شَيْئًا، وَأَدَّى زَكَاةَ مَالِهِ طَيِّبًا بِهَا نَفْسُهُ مُحْتَسِبًا، وَسَمِعَ وَأَطَاعَ، فَلَهُ الْجَنَّةُ»، . جو شخص اللہ سے اس حال میں ملاقات کرے کہ اُس کے ساتھ کسی کو شریک نہ ٹھہراياہو، اپنے مال کی زکوٰۃ دل کی خوشی سے اور ثواب کی نیت سے ادا كى ہو، اور بات سن کر اطاعت كى ہو وہ جنت میں داخل ہوگا.

اللہ کے نیک بندو! اپنے اوپر زکوٰۃ کی فرضیت، اُسکی مقدار و نصاب اور اُن اَموال کی اَقسام جاننے کے لیے جن پر زکوٰۃ فرض ہوتی ہے، حضراتِ اہلِ علم سے اِستفسار کیجیے، رب العالمین کے اس قول پر عمل پیرا ہوتے ہوئے: ﴿فَاسْأَلُوا أَهْلَ الذِّكْرِ إِنْ كُنْتُمْ لَا تَعْلَمُونَ﴾. سو اگر تمہیں معلوم نہیں تو اہلِ علم سے پوچھ لو.
علاوہ اَزیں ہماری حکیمانہ قیادت نے صُندوق الزکاۃ کے نام سے ایک زکوۃ فنڈ قائم کیا ہے، تاکہ آپکی زکوۃ ایک ایسے معتبر سرکاری و قانونی پلیٹ فارم سے مستحق اَفراد تک پہنچ سکے، جو ایک دقیق نظام کے تحت، قابلِ اعتماد ڈیجیٹل ذرائع سے آراستہ ہے، لہٰذا اپنی زکوۃ اسی ادارے اور ڈیجیٹل ذرائع ہی سے ادا کریں، تاکہ آپکا فرض ادا ہو، اور رب تعالیٰ آپکے اَموال میں خیر و برکت عطا فرمائے.



هَذَا وَصَلِّ اللَّهُمَّ وَسَلِّمْ وَبَارِكْ عَلَى سَيِّدِنَا وَنَبِيِّنَا مُحَمَّدٍ، وَعَلَى آلِهِ وَصَحْبِهِ وَالتَّابِعِينَ، وَارْضَ اللَّهُمَّ عَنْ أَبِي بَكْرٍ وَعُمَرَ وَعُثْمَانَ وَعَلِيٍّ، وَعَنْ سَائِرِ الصَّحَابَةِ الْأَكْرَمِينَ.

اللَّهُمَّ لَكَ الْحَمْدُ عَلَى مَا أَنْعَمْتَ، وَلَكَ الشُّكْرُ عَلَى مَا رَزَقْتَ.

اللَّهُمَّ زِدْنَا سَعَةً فِي الرِّزْقِ، وَرَغَدًا فِي الْعَيْشِ، وَرِضًا فِي النَّفْسِ، وَطُمَأْنِينَةً فِي الْقَلْبِ.

اللَّهُمَّ يَسِّرْ أُمُورَنَا، وَبَارِكْ فِي أَرْزَاقِنَا، وَاشْفِ مَرْضَانَا، وَارْحَمْ مَوْتَانَا.

اللَّهُمَّ اجْعَلْنَا بِكَ مُؤْمِنِينَ، وَلَكَ عَابِدِينَ، وَلِزَكَاتِنَا مُؤَدِّينَ، وَبِعَفْوِكَ فَائِزِينَ، وَبِوَالِدِينَا بَارِّينَ، وَارْحَمْهُمْ كَمَا رَبَّوْنَا صِغَارًا يَا أَرْحَمَ الرَّاحِمِينَ. اللَّهُمَّ احْفَظْ دَوْلَةَ الْإِمَارَاتِ بِحِفْظِكَ، وَتَوَلَّهَا بِرِعَايَتِكَ، وَاشْمَلْهَا بِعِنَايَتِكَ، وَأَدِمْ تَلَاحُمَهَا وَتَرَاحُمَهَا، وَاسْتِقْرَارَهَا وَازْدِهَارَهَا، وَقِهَا حَسَدَ الْحَاسِدِينَ، وَشَرَّ الْحَاقِدِينَ، وَعُدْوَانَ الْمُعْتَدِينَ، وَمَكْرَ الْمَاكِرِينَ، يَا رَبَّ الْعَالَمِينَ.

اللَّهُمَّ احْفَظْ بِحِفْظِكَ صَاحِبَ الْحِكْمَةِ وَالشَّهَامَةِ، وَالْأَيَادِي الْبَيْضَاءِ الْكَرِيمَةِ، الشّيخ محمد بن زايد رَئِيسَ الدَّوْلَةِ،

وَأَدِمْ عَلَيْهِ السَّدَادَ وَالْإِعَانَةَ، وَوَفِّقْهُ وَنُوَّابَهُ وَإِخْوَانَهُ حُكَّامَ الْإِمَارَاتِ، وَوَلِيَّ عَهْدِهِ الْأَمِينَ؛ لِمَا تُحِبُّهُ وَتَرْضَاهُ.

اللَّهُمَّ ارْحَمِ الشّيخ زَايد، وَالشّيخ رَاشِد، وَسَائِرَ شُيُوخِ الْإِمَارَاتِ الَّذِينَ انْتَقَلُوا إِلَى رَحْمَتِكَ، وَأَدْخِلْهُمْ بِفَضْلِكَ فَسِيحَ جَنَّاتِكَ، وَاشْمَلْ شُهَدَاءَ الْوَطَنِ بِرَحْمَتِكَ وَغُفْرَانِكَ.

اللَّهُمَّ ارْحَمِ الْمُسْلِمِينَ وَالْمُسْلِمَاتِ: الْأَحْيَاءَ مِنْهُمْ وَالْأَمْوَاتَ.

اللَّهُمَّ اسْقِنَا الْغَيْثَ وَلَا تَجْعَلْنَا مِنَ الْقَانِطِينَ،

اللَّهُمَّ أَغِثْنَا، اللَّهُمَّ أَغِثْنَا، اللَّهُمَّ أَغِثْنَا.

عِبَادَ اللَّهِ: اذْكُرُوا اللَّهَ الْعَظِيمَ الْجَلِيلَ يَذْكُرْكُمْ، وَاشْكُرُوهُ عَلَى نِعَمِهِ يَزِدْكُمْ. وَأَقِمِ الصَّلَاةَ

_And those who actively give zakāh_

*The First Sermon*

All praise is due to Allah, the One vast in grace and generosity, who placed in zakāh blessing and increase, purity and refinement. We bear witness that there is no deity worthy of worship but Allah, Lord of the heavens and the earth. And we bear witness that our master and Prophet Muḥammad is the Seal of the Prophets. O Allah, send prayers, peace, and blessings upon him, upon his family, his God-fearing Companions, and upon all who follow their guidance with excellence until the Day of Judgment.



To proceed: I counsel you, servants of Allah—and I counsel myself—to have taqwā of Allah your Lord, and to fulfill the zakāh of your wealth, so that you may attain the mercy of your Creator, who says:

وَرَحْمَتِي وَسِعَتْ كُلَّ شَيْءٍ فَسَأَكْتُبُهَا لِلَّذِينَ يَتَّقُونَ وَيُؤْتُونَ الزَّكَاةَ وَالَّذِينَ هُمْ بِآيَاتِنَا يُؤْمِنُونَ

“My mercy encompasses all things, but I shall decree it for those who are mindful of Me, who give zakāh, and who believe in Our signs.”



O believers: It is a noble act of worship, a great means of nearness, an obligatory duty, and a magnified symbol of faith. It is among the loftiest acts of goodness and the highest gates of righteousness. Indeed, it is zakāh—a pillar of Islam and a manifest sign of its perfection and completion.

The Messenger of Allah ﷺ said:

‌مِنْ ‌تَمَامِ ‌إِسْلَامِكُمْ: أَنْ تُؤَدُّوا زَكَاةَ أَمْوَالِكُمْ

“From the completion of your Islam is that you give the zakāh of your wealth.”

Allah has strongly emphasized zakāh in His Book and repeatedly paired it with prayer—mentioning the two together in approximately twenty-eight places—magnifying its status and warning against neglecting it. Allah Most High says:

وَأَقِيمُوا الصَّلَاةَ وَءَاتُوا الزَّكَاةَ

“Establish prayer and give zakāh.”

Allah has made zakāh a clear proof of sincere faith. Thus the Qurʾān bears witness:قَدْ أَفْلَحَ الْمُؤْمِنُونَ * الَّذِينَ هُمْ فِي صَلَاتِهِمْ خَاشِعُونَ * وَالَّذِينَ هُمْ عَنِ اللَّغْوِ مُعْرِضُونَ * وَالَّذِينَ هُمْ لِلزَّكَاةِ فَاعِلُونَ

“Successful indeed are the believers: those who are humble in their prayers, those who turn away from vain speech,
and those who actively give zakāh.”

Whoever gives zakāh out of faith in his Lord, seeking reward from his Creator, will taste its sweetness in his heart. The Prophet ﷺ said:

ثَلَاثٌ مَنْ فَعَلَهُنَّ فَقَدْ طَعِمَ طَعْمَ الْإِيمَانِ

“Three things—whoever does them has tasted the sweetness of faith,”

and among them he mentioned:

وَأَعْطَى زَكَاةَ مَالِهِ طَيِّبَةً بِهَا نَفْسُهُ
“giving the zakāh of one’s wealth willingly and with contentment.”

O those who give: Zakāh causes wealth to grow, purifies the heart from greed, and frees the soul from rancor. Allah Most High says:

خُذْ مِنْ أَمْوَالِهِمْ صَدَقَةً تُطَهِّرُهُمْ وَتُزَكِّيهِمْ بِهَا

“Take from their wealth a charity by which you purify them and cause them to grow.”

It is a safeguard for your wealth, a protection for your provision, a cause for the continuation of blessings, and a shield against divine punishment. Have you not heard the saying of your Prophet ﷺ?

مَنْ أَدَّى زَكَاةَ مَالِهِ، فَقَدْ ذَهَبَ عَنْهُ شَرُّهُ

“Whoever pays the zakāh of his wealth has removed its harm from himself.”

Within society, zakāh builds bridges of mercy and solidarity, bonds of mutual care and compassion. Through it, hearts are reconciled and rights are preserved. The Messenger of Allah ﷺ said:

تُخْرِجُ الزَّكَاةَ مِنْ مَالِكَ، فَإِنَّهَا طُهْرَةٌ تُطَهِّرُكَ، وَتَصِلُ أَقْرِبَاءَكَ، وَتَعْرِفُ حَقَّ السَّائِلِ وَالْجَارِ وَالْمِسْكِينِ

“You give zakāh from your wealth—it is a purification that purifies you; you maintain ties with your relatives; and you recognize the rights of the beggar, the neighbor, and the poor.”

Allah has promised those who give zakāh that their wealth will not diminish. The Prophet ﷺ said:

مَا ‌نَقَصَتْ ‌صَدَقَةٌ ‌مِنْ ‌مَالٍ

“Charity does not decrease wealth.”

Rather, Allah rewards them for what they spend and multiplies it for them. His promise is true and His word is certain. Allah Most High says:

وَمَا آتَيْتُمْ مِنْ زَكَاةٍ تُرِيدُونَ وَجْهَ اللَّهِ فَأُولَئِكَ هُمُ الْمُضْعِفُونَ

“And whatever zakāh you give, seeking the Face of Allah—those are the ones for whom it shall be multiplied.”


That is: Allah multiplies the reward for them. So, seize the generosity of your Provider, hasten to give zakāh as He has commanded you, and you will attain the supplication of the angels on your behalf. Have you not heard the saying of your Prophet ﷺ?

مَا مِنْ يَوْمٍ يُصْبِحُ الْعِبَادُ فِيهِ إِلَّا مَلَكَانِ يَنْزِلَانِ، فَيَقُولُ أَحَدُهُمَا: اللَّهُمَّ أَعْطِ مُنْفِقًا خَلَفًا، وَيَقُولُ الْآخَرُ: اللَّهُمَّ أَعْطِ مُمْسِكًا تَلَفًا

“There is no day that the servants of Allah begin except that two angels descend. One of them says: ‘O Allah, give the one who spends a replacement.’ And the other says: ‘O Allah, give the one who withholds destruction.’” (Ṣaḥīḥ al-Bukhārī, Ṣaḥīḥ Muslim)

“O you who believe! Obey Allah, obey the Messenger, and those in authority among you.” I say these words of mine, and I seek Allah’s forgiveness for myself and for you—so seek His forgiveness.

*The Second Sermon*

To proceed:

O you who give zakāh: hasten to discharge the zakāh of your wealth—as assistance to those in need in managing their lives during Ramaḍān, and as a clearing of your liability before the Most Merciful. Beware lest wealth come between you and obedience to your Lord, or lest Satan turn you away from fulfilling your zakāh.

What is the matter with some people that they delay the zakāh of their wealth beyond its due time, or are negligent in giving it—heedless of Allah’s severe warning to those who withhold it? For Allah, Exalted is His Majesty, says:

وَالَّذِينَ يَكْنِزُونَ الذَّهَبَ وَالْفِضَّةَ وَلَا يُنْفِقُونَهَا فِي سَبِيلِ اللَّهِ فَبَشِّرْهُمْ بِعَذَابٍ أَلِيمٍ

“Those who hoard gold and silver and do not spend it in the path of Allah—give them glad tidings of a painful punishment.”


This is because withholding zakāh is a transgression against a right made obligatory by Allah, and a deprivation of Allah’s goodness and His bounties. The Prophet ﷺ said:

وَلَمْ يَمْنَعُوا زَكَاةَ أَمْوَالِهِمْ إِلَّا مُنِعُوا الْقَطْرَ مِنَ السَّمَاءِ

“They did not withhold the zakāh of their wealth except that rain was withheld from the sky.”
So be mindful — of the zakāh of your wealth. Give it sincerely, seeking the Face of your Lord and desiring the bounty of your Creator. Do not look at the small amount Allah has obligated you to give, but rather look at the abundance He has left for you. That is more likely to bring contentment to your hearts, and for the gates of Paradise to be opened for you. Your Beloved and your Prophet ﷺ said:

مَنْ لَقِيَ اللَّهَ لَا يُشْرِكُ بِهِ شَيْئًا، وَأَدَّى زَكَاةَ مَالِهِ طَيِّبًا بِهَا نَفْسُهُ مُحْتَسِبًا، وَسَمِعَ وَأَطَاعَ، فَلَهُ الْجَنَّةُ

“Whoever meets Allah associating nothing with Him, gives the zakāh of his wealth willingly and seeking reward, and listens and obeys—then for him is Paradise.”


Ask—O servants of Allah—the people of knowledge and specialization about the rulings of your zakāh: its niṣāb (minimum threshold), its amounts, and the categories of wealth upon which it is due—acting upon the saying of your Lord:

فَاسْأَلُوا أَهْلَ الذِّكْرِ إِنْ كُنْتُمْ لَا تَعْلَمُونَ

“So ask the people of remembrance if you do not know.”


Our wise leadership has established the Zakāh Fund to serve as the officially recognized and legally authorized body to receive your zakāh and deliver it to those entitled to it—through precise mechanisms and reliable digital channels. So give your zakāh through it; your obligation will be discharged, and your wealth will be blessed.

And with this we ask you O Allah, to send Your prayers, peace, and blessings upon our master and Prophet Muḥammad, upon his family, his Companions, and those who follow them.

O Allah, be pleased with Abū Bakr, ʿUmar, ʿUthmān, and ʿAlī, and with all the noble Companions. O Allah, to You belongs all praise for what You have bestowed, and to You belongs all thanks for what You have provided. O Allah, increase us in provision, grant us ease in living, contentment in the soul, and tranquility in the heart. O Allah, make our affairs easy, bless our sustenance, heal our sick, and have mercy upon our deceased. O Allah, make us believers through You, worshippers for You, fulfillers of our zakāh, winners through Your pardon, dutiful to our parents—and have mercy upon them as they raised us when we were young, O Most Merciful of the merciful. O Allah, preserve the State of the Emirates through Your protection, take it under Your care, encompass it with Your solicitude, and grant it lasting unity, compassion, stability, and prosperity. Protect it from the envy of the envious, the malice of the spiteful, the aggression of transgressors, and the plots of schemers—O Lord of the worlds. O Allah, protect—by Your protection—the leader of wisdom, courage, and noble deeds, Sheikh Muḥammad bin Zāyid, President of the State. Grant him sound judgment and continued assistance; grant success to him, his deputies, and his brothers—the Rulers of the Emirates—and to his trusted Crown Prince—in what You love and are pleased with. O Allah, have mercy on Sheikh Zāyed, Sheikh Rāshid, and all the Sheikhs of the Emirates who have passed on to Your mercy; admit them, by Your grace, into Your expansive Gardens; and encompass the martyrs of the nation with Your mercy and forgiveness.
O Allah, have mercy upon the Muslim men and women—the living among them and the dead. O Allah, send us rain and do not make us among those who despair. O Allah, send us relief; O Allah, send us relief; O Allah, send us relief. Servants of Allah: Remember Allah, the Magnificent and Majestic— He will remember you. Give thanks to Him for His blessings— He will increase you. And establish the prayer.

_O Allah, Allow Us to Reach Ramadan_ 🤲🏻
الْخُطْبَةُ الْأُولَى
الْحَمْدُ لِلَّهِ الرَّحِيمِ الرَّحْمَنِ، أَكْرَمَنَا بِشَهْرِ رَمَضَانَ، وَهَيَّأَ فِيهِ أَسْبَابَ الرَّحْمَةِ وَالْغُفْرَانِ، وَنَشْهَدُ أَنْ لَا إِلَهَ إِلَّا اللَّهُ الْكَرِيمُ الْمَنَّانُ، وَنَشْهَدُ أَنَّ سَيِّدَنَا مُحَمَّدًا خَاتَمُ الرُّسُلِ الْكِرَامِ، اللَّهُمَّ صَلِّ وَسَلِّمْ وَبَارِكْ عَلَيْهِ وَعَلَى آلِهِ وَصَحْبِهِ وَمَنْ تَبِعَهُمْ بِإِحْسَانٍ.

أَمَّا بَعْدُ: فَأُوصِيكُمْ عِبَادَ اللَّهِ وَنَفْسِي بِطَاعَةِ اللَّهِ، وَلُزُومِ تَقْوَاهُ، فَإِنَّهَا أَهَمُّ مَقَاصِدِ الصِّيَامِ، قَالَ رَبُّنَا الْمَنَّانُ: ﴿يَا أَيُّهَا الَّذِينَ آمَنُوا كُتِبَ عَلَيْكُمُ الصِّيَامُ كَمَا كُتِبَ عَلَى الَّذِينَ مِنْ قَبْلِكُمْ لَعَلَّكُمْ تَتَّقُونَ﴾

عَزیزانِ مَن، اَصحابِ ایمان! ماہِ رَمَضَان کی آمَد آمَد ہے، اُسکی نَوِیدِ رُوح فِزا اُفَق پر جَلوَہ اَفروز ہو چُکی ہے، اُسکی مُعطّر ہوائیں چار سُو مِہک رہی ہیں، جو رب تعالیٰ کی عطاؤں اور اُسکی بخششوں کے دروازے کُھلنے کا اعلان کر رہی ہیں، یہ وہ بابرکت ساعات ہیں جب آسمان سے ایک مُنادِی پُکار لگاتا ہے: «يَا بَاغِيَ الْخَيْرِ أَقْبِلْ»، اے خیر کے مُتَلاشِی آگے بڑھ، جو بزبانِ حال اہلِ ایمان کو سَچے دل سے رجوع الی اللہ کے لیے، خوبصورت طریقے سے اِستقبالِ رمضان کے لیے، اور ماہِ صِیام کی مکمل تیاری اور بھر پور اہتمام کی دعوت دے رہا ہے،

تو میرے بھائیو! خیر و بھلائی کے کاموں میں جلدی کیجیے، رُکیے مَت، سوچیے مَت، بلکہ رب کریم کی مغفرت کے دروازوں کی طرف لَپَکتے جائیے: ﴿وَسَارِعُوا إِلَى مَغْفِرَةٍ مِنْ رَبِّكُمْ﴾، اور اپنے رب کی طرف سے مغفرت اور جنّت حاصل کرنے کے لیے ایک دوسرے سے بڑھ کر تیزی دکھاؤ، کیونکہ یہ مغفرت کا مہینہ ہے، یہ وہ مہینہ ہے کہ جسکی ہر جانِ مُسلم کو تمنّا ہے ہر دلِ مومن کو طلب، جو عبادت گزاروں کے مَن کی چاہت ہے اور اُنکی روحوں کی اُمَنگ، یہ وہ ماہِ مبارک ہے جس میں نمازیوں کی رونق اَفزا حاضری سے مسجدیں آباد ہوتی ہیں، اور آسمان کے فرشتے خشوع و خضوع کے ساتھ کھڑے نمازیوں کی صَفوں کا نَظارہ کرتے ہیں، تو دُعا کیجیے: «اللَّهُمَّ إِنَّا ‌نَسْأَلُكَ ‌الْخَيْرَاتِ»، اے رَبِّ کریم! ہم تجھ سے نیک اَعمال کی توفیق طلب کرتے ہیں.

میرے بھائیو! ماہِ رَمَضَان تراویح و قیام، اَذکار و تسبیحات، عبادات و تلاوتِ قرآن کا خاص مہینہ ہے، لہٰذا رب تعالیٰ سے یہ دعا مانگتے رَہیے:«اللَّهُمَّ أَعِنَّا عَلَى ذِكْرِكَ وَشُكْرِكَ، وَحُسْنِ عِبَادَتِكَ»، اے اللہ! ہماری مدد فرما کہ ہم تیرا ذکر کریں، تیرا شکر ادا کر سکیں، اور عمدہ و بہتر طریقے سے تیری عبادت کر سکیں.

اور ہَوشیار باش! یہ وہ مہینہ ہے جس میں رحمت و مغفرتِ خُداوندی کی اُمیدوں کے دروازے کھول دیے جاتے ہیں، دُعا و قَنوت کے لیے ہاتھ بُلند کیے جاتے ہیں، اور اہلِ ایمان کی زبانوں پر یہ کلمات جاری ہوتے ہیں: «اللَّهُمَّ اهْدِنَا فِيمَنْ هَدَيْتَ»، اے اللہ! ہمیں ہدایت سے نواز کر ان لوگوں کے زُمرے میں شامل فرما جنہیں تو نے رشد و ہدایت سے نوازا ہے.

تو اللہ تعالیٰ بھی کسی دعا کرنے والے کو خالی ہاتھ نہیں لوٹاتا، اپنی بارگاہ سے کسی سوالی کو نہیں دُھتکارتا، نبی کریم صاحبِ خُلُق عظیم rکا ارشاد ہے: «إِنَّ لِلَّهِ عُتَقَاءَ فِي كُلِّ يَوْمٍ وَلَيْلَةٍ، لِكُلِّ عَبْدٍ مِنْهُمْ دَعْوَةٌ مُسْتَجَابَةٌ». بلاشبہ اللہ تعالیٰ ہر دن اور ہر رات میں کئی بندوں کو جہنم سے آزادی کا پروانہ عطا فرماتا ہے، اور ہر بندہ کے لیے ایک دعاءِ مَقبُول ضرور ہوتی ہے.

علاوہ ازیں، اِس مہینے میں رَبِّ رحمان عبادت گزاروں کو اپنی بے پناہ عَطاؤں سے نوازتا ہے، اور اِطاعت گُزاروں کے اَجر و ثواب کو کئی گُنا بڑھا دیتا ہے، لہٰذا دل کے کانوں سے آپ ﷣کا یہ ارشاد سماعت فرمائیں: «كُلُّ عَمَلِ ابْنِ آدَمَ يُضَاعَفُ، الْحَسَنَةُ عَشْرُ أَمْثَالِهَا إِلَى سَبْعِمِائَةِ ضِعْفٍ، قَالَ اللَّهُ عَزَّ وَجَلَّ: إِلَّا الصَّوْمَ فَإِنَّهُ لِي وَأَنَا أَجْزِي بِهِ»، ابنِ آدم کا ہر عمل بڑھایا جاتا ہے، نیکی دس گُنا سے سات سو گُنا تک بڑھا دی جاتی ہے، اللہ تعالیٰ نے فرمایا: سوائے روزے کے کیونکہ وہ خالصتاً میرے لیے ہے اور میں ہی اس کی جزا دوں گا. یعنی اللہ رب العزت اُسے بغیر حساب، اور بغیر گِنتی کے کئی گُنا بڑھا کر اجر و ثواب عطا فرمائے گا.
اللہ کے نیک بندو، جنہیں ماہِ رَمَضَان پانے کا شرف حاصل ہو رہا ہے! وہ رب رحمن کا شکر ادا کریں، اور ذرا سوچیے کہ اِس کاروانِ حَیات کے کتنے مُسافر ہم سے بچھڑ گئے، جو کل تک ہمارے ساتھ تھے مگر پھر موت کی آغوش میں چلے گئے، اور ماہِ رَمَضَان کے اَنوارات و برکات سمیٹنے کی اُنکی اُمیدیں دَم توڑ گَئیں، تو خوشخبری ہے اُسکے لیے، جو اِس مہینے کے شب و روز کو پاتا

ہے، اِسکے اوقات کو غنیمت جانتا ہے، اِسکی رحمتوں کے جھونکوں کے دَرپے رہتا ہے، تو اُسکی نیکیوں میں اضافہ ہوتا ہے، اور اللہ تعالیٰ کے نزدیک اُسکے درجات بلند ہوتے ہیں،

صحابہ کرام رضوان اللہ علیہم اجمعین میں سے ایک صاحب کا انتقال ہوا، پھر ایک سال بعد اُنکے بھائی کا بھی انتقال ہو گیا، لوگوں نے یہ گُمان کیا کہ جو بھائی پہلے فوت ہو گیا، اُسکا درجہ زیادہ بلند ہوگا، کیونکہ وہ عِبادت و اِطاعت میں زیادہ محنت و کوشش کرنے والا تھا، تو آپ﷣نے اُن لوگوں کی تعلیم واِصلاح کے لیے، اور ماہِ رَمَضَان پانے کی فضیلت بیان کرنے کے لیے ارشاد فرمایا: «أَلَيْسَ قَدْ مَكَثَ هَذَا بَعْدَهُ ‌سَنَةً؟». کیا یہ اسکے بعد ایک سال مزید زندہ نہ رہا؟، لوگوں نے عرض کیا: کیوں نہیں، ضرور زندہ رہا، آپ rنے فرمایا: «وَأَدْرَكَ ‌رَمَضَانَ فَصَامَ...؟» ایک سال میں اس نے رمضان کا مہینہ پایا، روزے رکھے؟ لوگوں نے عرض کیا: جی ہاں، یہ تو ہے. تو آپ r نے فرمایا:«فَمَا بَيْنَهُمَا أَبْعَدُ مِمَّا بَيْنَ السَّمَاءِ وَالْأَرْضِ». تو اسی وجہ سے ان دونوں کے درجوں میں زمین و آسمان کے فاصلہ سے بھی زیادہ دُوری ہے.

تو اے رب کریم! ہمیں خیریت کے ساتھ پورا رمضان نصیب فرما، ہمیں اس میں روزے رکھنے اور اس سے بھرپور فائدہ اٹھانے کی توفیق عطا فرما، اور ہم کیونکر رب رحمن کے حضور گِڑگِڑا کر یہ دعا نہ مانگیں کہ وہ ہمیں اپنی رضا و خوشنودی والا مہینہ نصیب فرمائے، جبکہ اللہ تعالی نے اس مہینے کو اتنی فضیلتوں سے نوازا ہے جنکی کوئی مثال نہیں، اتنی رحمتوں سے سرفراز فرمایا ہے جنکی کوئی انتہا نہیں، یہ تو وہ مبارک مہینہ ہے جس میں جنت کے دروازے کھول دیے جاتے ہیں، رسول اللہ rنے فرمایا: «إِذَا جَاءَ رَمَضَانُ؛ فُتِحَتْ ‌أَبْوَابُ ‌الْجَنَّةِ» جب رمضان آتا ہے تو جنت کے دروازے کھول دیئے جاتے ہیں.

تو میرے بھائیو! رمضان المبارک کی آمد کے ساتھ ہی تیّاری پکڑ لیں، اپنے قدموں کا رُخ مساجد کی جانب کر لیں، ربِّ رحمن کے حضور عجز و نَدامت کا نذرانہ پیش کریں، اور جب تک امام نماز مکمل نہ کر لے اُس وقت تک اُسکے ساتھ نماز میں شریک رہیے، کیونکہ حدیث پاک میں آتا ہے: «إِنَّهُ مَنْ قَامَ ‌مَعَ ‌الْإِمَامِ ‌حَتَّى ‌يَنْصَرِفَ، ‌كُتِبَ لَهُ قِيَامُ لَيْلَةٍ». بے شک جوبنده امام کے ساتھ نماز ختم ہونے تک قیام کرتا ہے تو اُسے ساری رات کے قیام کا ثواب ملتا ہے.

﴿يَا أَيُّهَا الَّذِينَ آمَنُوا أَطِيعُوا اللَّهَ وَأَطِيعُوا الرَّسُولَ وَأُولِي الْأَمْرِ مِنْكُمْ﴾. أَقُولُ قَوْلِي هَذَا وَأَسْتَغْفِرُ اللَّهَ لِي وَلَكُمْ فَاسْتَغْفِرُوهُ.

الْخُطْبَةُ الثَّانِيَةُ:

الْحَمْدُ لِلَّهِ وَحْدَهُ، وَالصَّلَاةُ وَالسَّلَامُ عَلَى مَنْ لَا نَبِيَّ بَعْدَهُ.

أَمَّا بَعْدُ: اے مُشتاقانِ ماہِ رمضان! آپکے پیارے نبی، جنابِ محمدِ مصطفیٰ، اَحمدِ مُجتبی rایک دن منبر پر تشریف لائے اور فرمایا:«آمِينَ، آمِينَ، آمِينَ» یہ سن کر لوگ حیرانگی کے عالَم میں ہَمَہ تَن گَوش ہو گئے، اور اپنی نظریں آپ علیہ السلام کے رُخِ اَنور پہ جَما دِیں، اور آپ ﷣سے تین مرتبہ آمین کہنے کا سبب دریافت کرنے لگے، تو آپ علیہ الصلاۃ والسلام نے ان سے فرمایا: «قَالَ لِي جِبْرِيلُ: ‌رَغِمَ ‌أَنْفُ عَبْدٍ أَدْرَكَ أَبَوَيْهِ أَوْ أَحَدَهُمَا لَمْ يُدْخِلْهُ الْجَنَّةَ، قُلْتُ: آمِينَ. ثُمَّ قَالَ: ‌رَغِمَ ‌أَنْفُ عَبْدٍ دَخَلَ عَلَيْهِ ‌رَمَضَانُ لَمْ يُغْفَرْ لَهُ، فَقُلْتُ: آمِينَ. ثُمَّ قَالَ: ‌رَغِمَ ‌أَنْفُ امْرِئٍ ذُكِرْتَ عِنْدَهُ فَلَمْ يُصَلِّ عَلَيْكَ، فَقُلْتُ: آمِينَ»، حضرت جبریل ﷣نے مجھ سے کہا ہے: اس بندے کی ناک خاک آلود ہو جس نے اپنے ماں باپ یا دونوں میں سے ایک کو پایا اور پھر بھی جنت میں داخل نہ ہوا، میں نے اس پر آمین کہا. پھر کہا: اُس بندے کی بھی ناک خاک آلود ہو جس پر رمضان آیا اور اس کی مغفرت نہ کی گئی، تو میں نے آمین کہا. پھر انہوں نے کہا: وہ شخص بھی ذلیل ہو جس کے سامنے آپ کا نام لیا گیا تو اُس نے آپ پر درود نہ پڑھا، میں نے کہا: آمین.

تو میرے بھائیو! دل کی گہرائیوں سے پختہ عزم کر لیجیے، کہ اس مہینے کو حسنِ تدبیر کے ساتھ گُزاریں گے، اپنے اوقاتِ شب و روز کو مُنظّم اور مرتّب انداز میں صَرف کریں گے، سُستی و کاہلی کو اپنے سے دُور کریں گے، اور روزے کے اَحکام سیکھنے میں کوشاں رہیں گے؛ تاکہ آپکی کوششیں بارآوَر ہوں،

اور آپ رمضان کو اس حال میں الوداع کریں کہ آپکا رب آپکی مغفرت فرما چُکا ہو.

میرے بھائیو! روزہ دار کے لیے اپنے وقت کا بہترین مَصرف قرآنِ مجید کی تلاوت اور اُس کی آیات میں غور و فکر کرنا ہے، اور کیوں نہ ہو؟ جب کہ رمضان تو قرآن کا مہینہ ہے، فرمانِ رَبِّ رَحیم ہے: ﴿شَهْرُ رَمَضَانَ الَّذِي أُنْزِلَ فِيهِ الْقُرْآنُ هُدًى لِلنَّاسِ وَبَيِّنَاتٍ مِنَ الْهُدَى وَالْفُرْقَانِ﴾([13]) رمضان کا مہینہ وہ ہے جس میں قرآن نازل کیا گیا جو لوگوں کے لئے سراپا ہدایت، اور

ایسی روشن نشانیوں کا حامل ہے جو صحیح راستہ دکھاتی اور حق و باطل کے درمیان دو ٹوک فیصلہ کردیتی ہیں.

اور ان شاء اللہ اِس ماہِ قرآن میں آپکے یہ مِنبر و مِحراب تفہیمِ قرآن کے لیے اَپنا بھرپور کردار ادا کریں گے، جہاں ہم آیاتِ قرآنیہ میں تدبّر و تفکّر کریں گے، اُنکے معانی میں غور و خوض کریں گے، اور اُنکے فوائد و نصائح کا خلاصہ پیش کریں گے.

رَبِّ کریم سے دعا ہے کہ یا اللہ ماہِ شعبان کے باقی ماندہ اَیّام کو ہمارے لیے باعثِ خیر و برکت بنا، ہمیں رمضان نصیب فرما، اور اُسکے چاند کو ہمارے لیے مبارک فرما، «‌بِالْيُمْنِ وَالْإِيمَانِ، وَالسَّلَامَةِ وَالْإِسْلَامِ»، برکت اور ایمان اور سلامتی اور اسلام کے ساتھ.

وَصَلِّ اللَّهُمَّ وَسَلِّمْ وَبَارِكْ عَلَى سَيِّدِنَا وَنَبِيِّنَا مُحَمَّدٍ خَيْرِ الْأَنَامِ، وَعَلَى آلِهِ وَصَحْبِهِ وَالتَّابِعِينَ لَهُمْ بِإِحْسَانٍ، وَارْضَ اللَّهُمَّ عَنْ أَبِي بَكْرٍ وَعُمَرَ وَعُثْمَانَ وَعَلِيٍّ، وَعَنْ سَائِرِ الصَّحَابَةِ الْكِرَامِ.

اللَّهُمَّ بَلِّغْنَا رَمَضَانَ، وَوَفِّقْنَا فِيهِ لِلصِّيَامِ وَالْقِيَامِ، وَتِلَاوَةِ الْقُرْآنِ، وَاسْتِثْمَارِ أَوْقَاتِهِ فِي طَاعَتِكَ يَا رَحْمَنُ.

اللَّهُمَّ ارْحَمْ أَحِبَّاءَنَا الَّذِينَ لَمْ يُدْرِكُوا رَمَضَانَ، وَعَامِلْهُمْ بِالْفَضْلِ وَالْإِحْسَانِ، ‌يَا ‌عَظِيمَ الْعَفْوِ، ‌يَا ‌وَاسِعَ الْمَغْفِرَةِ، ‌يَا كَرِيمَ الْعَطَاءِ، يَا ذَا الْجُودِ وَالسَّخَاءِ.

اللَّهُمَّ وَسِّعْ أَرْزَاقَنَا، وَيَسِّرْ أُمُورَنَا، وَاشْرَحْ صُدُورَنَا، وَاشْفِ مَرْضَانَا، وَارْحَمْ مَوْتَانَا.

اللَّهُمَّ اجْعَلْنَا بِكَ مُؤْمِنِينَ، وَلَكَ عَابِدِينَ، وَلِشَهْرِ رَمَضَانَ مُسْتَثْمِرِينَ، وَبِوَالِدِينَا بَارِّينَ، وَارْحَمْهُمْ كَمَا رَبَّوْنَا صِغَارًا يَا أَرْحَمَ الرَّاحِمِينَ.
اللَّهُمَّ احْفَظْ دَوْلَةَ الْإِمَارَاتِ بِحِفْظِكَ، وَاغْمُرْهَا بِفَيْضِ نِعَمِكَ، وَزِدْهَا مِنْ وَاسِعِ فَضْلِكَ، وَأَدِمْ رَخَاءَهَا وَازْدِهَارَهَا، يَا رَبَّ الْعَالَمِينَ.

اللَّهُمَّ احْفَظِ الشّيخ مُحَمَّد بْن زَايد رَئِيسَ الدَّوْلَةِ بِحِفْظِكَ، وَاشْمَلْهُ بِرِعَايَتِكَ، وَاجْعَلْ عَمَلَهُ فِي طَاعَتِكَ، وَوَفِّقْهُ وَنُوَّابَهُ وَإِخْوَانَهُ حُكَّامَ الْإِمَارَاتِ، وَوَلِيَّ عَهْدِهِ الْأَمِينَ؛ لِمَا تُحِبُّهُ وَتَرْضَاهُ.

اللَّهُمَّ ارْحَمِ الشَّيْخ زَايد، وَالشَّيخ راشد بن سعيد، وَشُيُوخَ الْإِمَارَاتِ الَّذِينَ انْتَقَلُوا إِلَى رَحْمَتِكَ، وَأَدْخِلْهُمْ بِفَضْلِكَ فَسِيحَ جَنَّاتِكَ، وَاشْمَلْ شُهَدَاءَ الْوَطَنِ بِرَحْمَتِكَ وَغُفْرَانِكَ. اللَّهُمَّ ارْحَمِ الْمُسْلِمِينَ وَالْمُسْلِمَاتِ: الْأَحْيَاءَ مِنْهُمْ وَالْأَمْوَاتَ.

اللَّهُمَّ اسْقِنَا الْغَيْثَ وَلَا تَجْعَلْنَا مِنَ الْقَانِطِينَ، اللَّهُمَّ أَغِثْنَا، اللَّهُمَّ أَغِثْنَا، اللَّهُمَّ أَغِثْنَا.

عِبَادَ اللَّهِ: اذْكُرُوا اللَّهَ الْعَظِيمَ الْجَلِيلَ يَذْكُرْكُمْ، وَاشْكُرُوهُ عَلَى نِعَمِهِ يَزِدْكُمْ. وَأَقِمِ الصَّلَاةَ. Be

_O Allah, Allow Us to Reach Ramadan_ 🤲🏻

الخطبة الأولى:
الحمد لله الرحيم الرحمن، أكرمنا بشهر رمضان، وهيأ فيه أسباب الرحمة والغفران، ونشهد أن لا إله إلا الله الكريم المنان، ونشهد أن سيدنا محمدا خاتم الرسل الكرام، اللهم صل وسلم وبارك عليه وعلى آله وصحبه ومن تبعهم بإحسان.

أما بعد: فأوصيكم عباد الله ونفسي بطاعة الله، ولزوم تقواه، فإنها أهم مقاصد الصيام، قال ربنا المنان: ﴿يا أيها الذين آمنوا كتب عليكم الصيام كما كتب على الذين من قبلكم لعلكم تتقون﴾.

أيها المؤمنون: ها هي بشائر شهر رمضان قد لاحت، ونسماته العطرة قد فاحت، مؤذنة بفتح أبواب العطاء، حين ينادي منادي السماء: «يا باغي الخير أقبل»، داعيا المؤمنين إلى صدق الإقبال، وحسن الاستقبال، وتمام الإعداد، وكمال الاستعداد، فبادروا ولا تترددوا، ﴿وسارعوا إلى مغفرة من ربكم﴾ إنه شهر المغفرة، شهر تشتاق إليه قلوب المؤمنين، وتحن إليه أرواح العابدين، شهر تعمر فيه المساجد بالراكعين والساجدين، ويطلع أهل السماء على صفوف المصلين؛ الخاشعين الخاضعين، فـ«اللهم إنا ‌نسألك ‌الخيرات»،

وهو شهر التراويح والقيام، والذكر والتسبيح وتلاوة القرآن، فـ«اللهم أعنا على ذكرك وشكرك، وحسن عبادتك»، ألا إنه شهر تفتح فيه أبواب الرجاء، وترفع الأكف بالقنوت والدعاء: «اللهم اهدنا فيمن هديت»، فلا يرد الله فيه داعيا، ولا يصرف عن بابه سائلا، قال ﷺ: «إن لله عتقاء في كل يوم وليلة، لكل عبد منهم دعوة مستجابة».

وهو شهر يجزل الله فيه للعابدين العطاء، ويضاعف للطائعين الجزاء، اسمعوا بقلوبكم قول نبيكم، ﷺ: «كل عمل ابن آدم يضاعف، الحسنة عشر أمثالها إلى سبعمائة ضعف، قال الله عز وجل: إلا الصوم فإنه لي وأنا أجزي به» أي: أجازي عليه أضعافا مضاعفة، من غير عدد ولا حساب.

فيا من أكرمكم الله بإدراك رمضان: اشكروا الرحمن؛ فكم من أناس كانوا معنا، فانقضت آجالهم، ولم يدركوا من رمضان آمالهم، فطوبى لمن أدرك أيامه، واغتنم أوقاته، وتعرض لنفحاته، فازدادت حسناته، ورفعت عند الله درجاته، فقد توفي رجل من الصحابة رضي الله عنهم، ثم لحق به أخوه بعد سنة، فظن الناس أن الأول أعلى درجة؛ إذ كان أكثر اجتهادا وطاعة، فقال رسول الله ﷺ مصححا ومعلما، ولفضل إدراك رمضان مبينا: «أليس قد مكث هذا بعده ‌سنة؟». قالوا: بلى. قال: «وأدرك ‌رمضان فصام...؟» قالوا: بلى. قال ﷺ: «فما بينهما أبعد مما بين السماء والأرض». فاللهم بلغنا رمضان بتمامه، ووفقنا لصيامه واغتنامه. وما لنا ألا نتضرع إلى الرحمن، أن يبلغنا شهر الرضوان، وقد خصه الله تعالى بفضائل لا تضاهى، ورحمات لا يبلغ مداها؛ ففيه تفتح أبواب الجنان، قال رسول الله ﷺ: «إذا جاء رمضان؛ فتحت ‌أبواب ‌الجنة».

فتهيؤوا له فور دخوله، وبادروا إلى مساجدكم، واخشعوا بين يدي ربكم، وقوموا مع إمامكم حتى يفرغ من الصلاة، فـ«إنه من قام ‌مع ‌الإمام ‌حتى ‌ينصرف، ‌كتب له قيام ليلة».

﴿يا أيها الذين آمنوا أطيعوا الله وأطيعوا الرسول وأولي الأمر منكم﴾.

أقول قولي هذا وأستغفر الله لي ولكم فاستغفروه.

الخطبة الثانية:

الحمد لله وحده، والصلاة والسلام على من لا نبي بعده.

أما بعد: فيا أيها المتشوقون لشهر رمضان: قام حبيبكم ونبيكم ﷺ يوما إلى المنبر، فلما ارتقاه قال: «آمين، آمين، آمين» فأقبل الناس عليه بأسماعهم، واتجهوا إليه بأبصارهم، وسألوه عن سبب ما قال، فقال لهم عليه الصلاة والسلام: «قال لي جبريل: ‌رغم ‌أنف عبد أدرك أبويه أو أحدهما لم يدخله الجنة، قلت: آمين. ثم قال: ‌رغم ‌أنف عبد دخل عليه ‌رمضان لم يغفر له، فقلت: آمين. ثم قال: ‌رغم ‌أنف امرئ ذكرت عنده فلم يصل عليك، فقلت: آمين»،

ألا فاعقدوا نيتكم، على حسن استثمار شهركم، وتنظيم وقتكم، ونبذ الكسل عنكم، واحرصوا على تعلم أحكام الصيام، كي تسعدوا باجتهادكم، وتخرجوا من رمضان وقد غفر لكم ربكم.

وإن خير ما يستثمر فيه الصائم وقته، تلاوة كتاب ربه، وتدبر آياته، كيف لا؟ ورمضان شهر القرآن، يقول ربنا الرحمن: ﴿شهر رمضان الذي أنزل فيه القرآن هدى للناس وبينات من الهدى والفرقان﴾

وإن منبركم هذا؛ سيكون له وقفات في شهر القرآن، مع سور من القرآن، نتدبر آياتها، ونتأمل معانيها، مستخلصين فوائدها وعبرها. فاللهم بارك لنا فيما بقي من شعبان، وبلغنا رمضان، و‌أهل علينا هلاله «‌باليمن والإيمان، والسلامة والإسلام»،

وصل اللهم وسلم وبارك على سيدنا ونبينا محمد خير الأنام، وعلى آله وصحبه والتابعين لهم بإحسان، وارض اللهم عن أبي بكر وعمر وعثمان وعلي، وعن سائر الصحابة الكرام.

اللهم بلغنا رمضان، ووفقنا فيه للصيام والقيام، وتلاوة القرآن، واستثمار أوقاته في طاعتك يا رحمن.

اللهم ارحم أحباءنا الذين لم يدركوا رمضان، وعاملهم بالفضل والإحسان، ‌يا ‌عظيم العفو، ‌يا ‌واسع المغفرة، ‌يا كريم العطاء، يا ذا الجود والسخاء.

اللهم وسع أرزاقنا، ويسر أمورنا، واشرح صدورنا، واشف مرضانا، وارحم موتانا.

اللهم اجعلنا بك مؤمنين، ولك عابدين، ولشهر رمضان مستثمرين، وبوالدينا بارين، وارحمهم كما ربونا صغارا يا أرحم الراحمين.

اللهم احفظ دولة الإمارات بحفظك، واغمرها بفيض نعمك، وزدها من واسع فضلك، وأدم رخاءها وازدهارها، يا رب العالمين.

اللهم احفظ الشيخ محمد بن زايد رئيس الدولة بحفظك، واشمله برعايتك، واجعل عمله في طاعتك، ووفقه ونوابه وإخوانه حكام الإمارات، وولي عهده الأمين؛ لما تحبه وترضاه.

اللهم ارحم الشيخ زايد، والشيخ راشد، وشيوخ الإمارات الذين انتقلوا إلى رحمتك، وأدخلهم بفضلك فسيح جناتك، واشمل شهداء الوطن برحمتك وغفرانك.

اللهم ارحم المسلمين والمسلمات: الأحياء منهم والأموات.

اللهم اسقنا الغيث ولا تجعلنا من القانطين، اللهم أغثنا، اللهم أغثنا، اللهم أغثنا.

عباد الله: اذكروا الله العظيم الجليل يذكركم، واشكروه على نعمه يزدكم. وأقم الصلاة.

✨*🤲🏻 اللهم بلغنا رمضان* ✨

_O Allah, Allow Us to Reach Ramadan_ 🤲🏻

*First Sermon*

All praise is due to Allah, the Most Merciful, the Especially Merciful, who has honored us with the month of Ramadan and prepared within it the means of mercy and forgiveness. We bear witness that there is nothing worthy of worship except Allah, the Generous, the Bestower of gifts. And we bear witness that our master Muhammad is the Seal of the noble Messengers. O Allah, send prayers, peace, and blessings upon him, upon his family, his companions, and all who follow them in the best of ways.

As for what follows: I counsel you, O servants of Allah, and myself, to obey Allah and to remain steadfast in God-consciousness (taqwa), for it is the greatest objective of fasting. Our Lord, the Bestower, says:

يَا أَيُّهَا الَّذِينَ آمَنُوا كُتِبَ عَلَيْكُمُ الصِّيَامُ كَمَا كُتِبَ عَلَى الَّذِينَ مِنْ قَبْلِكُمْ لَعَلَّكُمْ تَتَّقُونَ

“O you who believe, fasting has been prescribed for you as it was prescribed for those before you, so that you may attain taqwa.” (Qur’an 2:183)

O believers: The glad tidings of the month of Ramadan have appeared, and its fragrant breezes have begun to spread, heralding the opening of the doors of divine generosity—when the caller from the heavens proclaims: يَا بَاغِيَ الْخَيْرِ أَقْبِلْ

“O seeker of good, come forward!” (Reported in al-Tirmidhī)

Calling the believers to sincere turning, beautiful reception, complete preparation, and perfect readiness. So hasten and do not hesitate: وَسَارِعُوا إِلَى مَغْفِرَةٍ مِنْ رَبِّكُمْ

“And hasten to forgiveness from your Lord.”
(Qur’an 3:133)

It is the month of forgiveness—a month to which the hearts of believers long and the souls of worshippers yearn. A month in which the mosques are filled with those bowing and prostrating, and the inhabitants of the heavens look upon the rows of worshippers—humble and submissive.

So we say: اللَّهُمَّ إِنَّا ‌نَسْأَلُكَ ‌الْخَيْرَاتِ

“O Allah, we ask You for good deeds.” (Reported in al-Tirmidhī)

It is the month of Tarāwīḥ and night prayer, of remembrance (dhikr), glorification (tasbīḥ), and recitation of the Qur’an. So we say: اللَّهُمَّ أَعِنَّا عَلَى ذِكْرِكَ وَشُكْرِكَ، وَحُسْنِ عِبَادَتِكَ

“O Allah, help us to remember You, to thank You, and to worship You excellently.” (Reported in Aḥmad)

Indeed, it is a month in which the doors of hope are opened, and hands are raised in supplication and devotion:

اللَّهُمَّ اهْدِنَا فِيمَنْ هَدَيْتَ

“O Allah, guide us among those You have guided.”
(From the supplication of qunūt, reported in al-Tirmidhī)

Allah does not turn away a supplicant in it, nor does He repel one who seeks at His door. The Messenger of Allah ﷺ said:

إِنَّ لِلَّهِ عُتَقَاءَ فِي كُلِّ يَوْمٍ وَلَيْلَةٍ، لِكُلِّ عَبْدٍ مِنْهُمْ دَعْوَةٌ مُسْتَجَابَةٌ

“Indeed, Allah has those whom He frees (from the Fire) every day and night, and for every servant among them there is a supplication that is answered.”
(Reported by Aḥmad)

It is a month in which Allah grants abundant reward to the worshippers and multiplies recompense for the obedient. Listen with your hearts to the words of your Prophet ﷺ:

كُلُّ عَمَلِ ابْنِ آدَمَ يُضَاعَفُ، الْحَسَنَةُ عَشْرُ أَمْثَالِهَا إِلَى سَبْعِمِائَةِ ضِعْفٍ، قَالَ اللَّهُ عَزَّ وَجَلَّ: إِلَّا الصَّوْمَ فَإِنَّهُ لِي وَأَنَا أَجْزِي بِهِ

Every deed of the son of Adam is multiplied. A good deed is rewarded tenfold up to seven hundredfold. Allah, Mighty and Majestic, says: ‘Except for fasting, for it is Mine, and I Myself shall reward it.’
(Ṣaḥīḥ al-Bukhārī and Ṣaḥīḥ Muslim)

Meaning: He rewards it with multiplied reward beyond measure or calculation.

So, O you whom Allah has honored with reaching Ramadan: Give thanks to the Most Merciful! How many people were with us before, whose lifespans have ended, and who did not reach their hopes for Ramadan?

Glad tidings to the one who reaches its days, seizes its moments, and exposes himself to its divine breezes—so his good deeds increase and his rank with Allah is elevated.

It is reported that one of the Companions (may Allah be pleased with them) passed away, and his brother died a year later. People assumed that the first would be of higher rank, since he had exerted himself more in worship. But the Messenger of Allah ﷺ corrected them and clarified the virtue of reaching Ramadan. He said: أَلَيْسَ قَدْ مَكَثَ هَذَا بَعْدَهُ ‌سَنَةً؟

“Did not this one remain after him for a year?”
They replied: Yes.
He ﷺ said: وَأَدْرَكَ ‌رَمَضَانَ فَصَامَ...؟
“And did he not reach Ramadan and fast it?”
They said: Yes. He ﷺ said:

فَمَا بَيْنَهُمَا أَبْعَدُ مِمَّا بَيْنَ السَّمَاءِ وَالْأَرْضِ
“Then the distance between them is greater than the distance between the heavens and the earth.”
(Sunan Ibn Majah)

So, O Allah, allow us to reach Ramadan in its fullness, and grant us success in fasting it and making the most of it. And why should we not humbly beseech the Most Merciful to allow us to reach the month of divine pleasure, when Allah has singled it out with unmatched virtues and mercies beyond measure?

In it, the gates of Paradise are opened. The Messenger of Allah ﷺ said: إِذَا جَاءَ رَمَضَانُ؛ فُتِحَتْ ‌أَبْوَابُ ‌الْجَنَّةِ

“When Ramadan arrives, the gates of Paradise are opened.”
(Ṣaḥīḥ al-Bukhārī and Ṣaḥīḥ Muslim)

So, prepare for it from the very moment it enters. Hasten to your mosques. Be humble before your Lord. Stand with your imam until he finishes the prayer, for: إِنَّهُ مَنْ قَامَ ‌مَعَ ‌الْإِمَامِ ‌حَتَّى ‌يَنْصَرِفَ، ‌كُتِبَ لَهُ قِيَامُ لَيْلَةٍ

“Whoever stands with the imam until he finishes, it will be recorded for him as if he prayed the entire night.”
(Reported in Abū Dāwūd and al-Tirmidhī)

Allah says: “O you who believe, obey Allah and obey the Messenger and those in authority among you.” (Qur’an 4:59) I say these words of mine, and I seek forgiveness from Allah for myself and for you—so seek His forgiveness.

*Second Sermon*

All praise is due to Allah alone, and prayers and peace be upon the one after whom there is no prophet.

As for what follows: O you who long for the month of Ramadan: Your Beloved and your Prophet ﷺ once ascended the pulpit, and when he mounted it he said: “Āmīn, Āmīn, Āmīn.” The people turned their ears toward him and fixed their eyes upon him, and they asked him about what he had said. He ﷺ replied: قَالَ لِي جِبْرِيلُ: ‌رَغِمَ ‌أَنْفُ عَبْدٍ أَدْرَكَ أَبَوَيْهِ أَوْ أَحَدَهُمَا لَمْ يُدْخِلْهُ الْجَنَّةَ

“Jibrīl said to me: ‘May the nose be rubbed in dust of a servant who reaches his parents, or one of them, and they do not cause him to enter Paradise.’

So I said: Āmīn. Then he said: ‌رَغِمَ ‌أَنْفُ عَبْدٍ دَخَلَ عَلَيْهِ ‌رَمَضَانُ لَمْ يُغْفَرْ لَهُ

‘May the nose be rubbed in dust of a servant upon whom Ramadan enters and he is not forgiven.’

So I said: Āmīn. Then he said: ‌رَغِمَ ‌أَنْفُ امْرِئٍ ذُكِرْتَ عِنْدَهُ فَلَمْ يُصَلِّ عَلَيْكَ

‘May the nose be rubbed in dust of a man in whose presence you are mentioned and he does not send prayers upon you.’

So I said: Āmīn.” (Reported by al-Tirmidhī)

Therefore, resolve firmly to make the best use of your month, to organize your time, to cast away laziness, and to be diligent in learning the rulings of fasting—so that you may strive properly and emerge from Ramadan with your Lord having forgiven you.

Among the greatest ways a fasting person can invest his time is by reciting the Book of his Lord and reflecting upon its verses. How could it be otherwise, when Ramadan is the month of the Qur’an? Our Most Merciful Lord says: شَهْرُ رَمَضَانَ الَّذِي أُنْزِلَ فِيهِ الْقُرْآنُ هُدًى لِلنَّاسِ وَبَيِّنَاتٍ مِنَ الْهُدَى وَالْفُرْقَانِ

“The month of Ramadan is that in which the Qur’an was revealed, as guidance for mankind and clear proofs of guidance and criterion.” (Qur’an 2:185)

This very pulpit of yours will, during the month of the Qur’an, pause with selected surahs of the Qur’an—reflecting upon their verses, contemplating their meanings, and extracting their lessons and benefits.

So, O Allah, bless for us what remains of Shaʿbān, and allow us to reach Ramadan. Let its crescent rise upon us:

‌بِالْيُمْنِ وَالْإِيمَانِ، وَالسَّلَامَةِ وَالْإِسْلَامِ

“With blessing and faith, with safety and Islam.”

O Allah, send prayers, peace, and blessings upon our master and Prophet Muhammad, the best of creation, and upon his family, his companions, and those who follow them in excellence. Be pleased, O Allah, with Abū Bakr, ʿUmar, ʿUthmān, and ʿAlī, and with all the noble Companions.

O Allah, allow us to reach Ramadan and grant us success within it in fasting, night prayer, recitation of the Qur’an, and in investing its time in obedience to You, O Most Merciful.

O Allah, have mercy upon our loved ones who did not reach Ramadan. Treat them with Your grace and benevolence—O Possessor of immense pardon, vast forgiveness, generous giving, and boundless bounty.

O Allah, expand our provisions, ease our affairs, open our hearts, heal our sick, and have mercy on our deceased.

O Allah, make us believers in You, worshippers devoted to You, mindful of Ramadan, dutiful to our parents—and have mercy upon them as they raised us when we were young, O Most Merciful of the merciful.

O Allah, preserve the United Arab Emirates with Your protection, envelop it in the abundance of Your blessings, increase it from Your vast bounty, and perpetuate its prosperity and flourishing, O Lord of the worlds.

O Allah, preserve Sheikh Muhammad bin Zayed, President of the State, under Your protection. Surround him with Your care. Make his actions in obedience to You. Grant success to him, his deputies, his brothers—the rulers of the Emirates—and his trustworthy Crown Prince, in what You love and are pleased with.

O Allah, have mercy upon Sheikh Zayed, Sheikh Rashid, and the leaders of the Emirates who have returned to Your mercy. Admit them by Your grace into the vastness of Your Paradise. Encompass the martyrs of the homeland with Your mercy and forgiveness.

O Allah, have mercy upon the Muslim men and women—the living among them and the deceased.

الخطبة الأولى:

الحمد لله منزل القرآن بأبلغ بيان، وأوضح برهان، ونشهد أن لا إله إلا الله، ونشهد أن سيدنا محمدا رسول الله، اللهم صل وسلم وبارك عليه وعلى آله وصحبه ومن اتبع هداه.

أما بعد: فأوصيكم عباد الله ونفسي بتقوى الله ربكم، فتقواه غاية صيامكم، ونور قلوبكم، اسمعوا لنداء خالقكم: ﴿يا أيها الذين آمنوا كتب عليكم الصيام كما كتب على الذين من قبلكم لعلكم تتقون﴾.

أيها الصائمون: نبارك لكم بلوغ شهر رمضان، ونسأل الله تعالى أن يتقبل منا ومنكم الصيام والقيام، وتلاوة القرآن، ذلكم الكتاب العظيم، الذي نقف اليوم في خطبتنا مع سورة من أعظم سوره، إنها سورة البقرة، التي قال عنها رسول الله ﷺ: «إن أخذها بركة، وتركها حسرة»،

وهي أطول السور لفظا، وأبلغها أثرا، جمعت من البينات ما يرسخ أركان الإيمان، ويقيم فرائض الإسلام، ويؤصل شعائر الدين والأحكام؛ وينظم العلاقات الاجتماعية، ويضبط المعاملات المالية، ويعزز القيم الأخلاقية، وفيها آية الكرسي؛ أعظم آية أنزلت من السماء، وفيها أطول آية في الدين والوفاء، وفي ختامها آيتان هما كنز من الدعاء، «لن تقرأ بحرف منهما ‌إلا ‌أعطيته».

وقد افتتحت بالإشارة إلى علو مكانة القرآن الكريم، فقال سبحانه: ﴿ذلك الكتاب﴾، إشارة توحي بالرفعة والتعظيم، والإجلال والتكريم. فهو كتاب ﴿لا ريب فيه هدى للمتقين﴾، أليس يدعوهم إلى طاعة ربهم، وعبادة خالقهم، قال تعالى: ﴿يا أيها الناس اعبدوا ربكم الذي خلقكم والذين من قبلكم لعلكم تتقون﴾، أوليس ينهاهم عن إساءة استعمال مقدراتهم، والإضرار بغيرهم: ﴿لا تفسدوا في الأرض﴾.
وتخبرنا سورة البقرة أن أول تشريف للإنسان كان بالعلم؛ فبه تشيد الحضارات، وترفع الدرجات، فلما أنبأ آدم عليه السلام الملائكة الكرام بأسماء الأشياء؛ أمرهم ربنا تعالى أن ﴿اسجدوا لآدم﴾، تكريما له، وتعظيما لما أنزل الله من العلم في قلبه. وتعلمنا السورة الكريمة أن الإصرار على الخطإ خطأ أكبر؛ فآدم عليه السلام أخطأ فاستغفر، فقبل عذره، ورفع ذكره؛ وأما إبليس فـ﴿أبى واستكبر﴾، فاستحق غضب ربه وعذابه الأكبر، فالمرء بين توبة تنجيه، وكبر يرديه. وتبين لنا سورة البقرة أنه ﴿لا إكراه في الدين قد تبين الرشد من الغي﴾، فلا إيمان بالإجبار، ولكن على بصيرة واختيار، فإنه دين سماحة وتيسير، لا مشقة فيه ولا تعسير، تأملوا قوله تعالى في هذه السورة الكريمة: ﴿يريد الله بكم اليسر ولا يريد بكم العسر﴾ فتكاليفه رحمة، وأوامره حكمة، ﴿لا يكلف الله نفسا إلا وسعها﴾، هذا ما أكده نبينا ﷺ حين قال: «إن الدين يسر، ولن ‌يشاد ‌الدين أحد إلا غلبه»، فمن تشدد ضيق على نفسه السبل، وقل أن يصل.

﴿يا أيها الذين آمنوا أطيعوا الله وأطيعوا الرسول وأولي الأمر منكم﴾.

أقول قولي هذا وأستغفر الله لي ولكم فاستغفروه.

الخطبة الثانية:


الحمد لله وحده، والصلاة والسلام على من لا نبي بعده.

أما بعد: فيا أيها الصائمون: إن سورة البقرة جعلت الأسرة محل عنايتها واهتمامها، فأرست أسس تماسكها واستقرارها، فالأسر تبنى بالمودة بين الزوجين، وتسعد بتقدير كل منهما لصاحبه، ومراعاة حقه ومشاعره، قال ربنا جل شأنه: ﴿ولهن مثل الذي عليهن بالمعروف﴾، ميزان عدل، ونهج فضل، به تستقر البيوت، وتزهر الأسر، فإن وقع الشقاق علا الإنصاف على الخلاف، فلا يجحد أحدهما محاسن الآخر وسوابق فضله؛ استجابة لقول ربه: ﴿ولا تنسوا الفضل بينكم﴾، وتوقفنا سورة البقرة في المعاملات والحقوق عند قوله تعالى: ﴿فليؤد الذي اؤتمن أمانته وليتق الله ربه﴾. كلمات قليلات، لكنها مواعظ جليلات، فكل حق لغيرك عندك؛ هو أمانة في عنقك، يحذرك ربك أن تتهاون في أدائها، أو تتساهل في رعايتها، تأمل هذه الوصية الخاتمة من الرحمن، في آخر آية نزلت من القرآن: ﴿واتقوا يوما ترجعون فيه إلى الله ثم توفى كل نفس ما كسبت وهم لا يظلمون﴾، تلكم قبسات من معاني سورة البقرة؛ فاقرؤوها بقلوب متبصرة، وتأملوها بعقول متفكرة، واعملوا بها، ورددوا دوما جوامع أدعيتها: ﴿ربنا آتنا في الدنيا حسنة وفي الآخرة حسنة وقنا عذاب النار﴾. ﴿ربنا لا تؤاخذنا إن نسينا أو أخطأنا﴾. فإن ربكم قد فتح لكم نوافذ القرب والرجاء، ودعاكم إلى الإكثار من الدعاء، ولزوم باب الكريم المعطاء؛ فقال سبحانه: ﴿وإذا سألك عبادي عني فإني قريب أجيب دعوة الداع إذا دعان﴾، فالتجئوا إلى بابه، ولوذوا بجنابه، وأكثروا في ليلكم ونهاركم؛ من الصلاة والسلام على نبيكم، اللهم صل وسلم وبارك عليه وعلى آله وصحبه أجمعين، وارض اللهم عن أبي بكر وعمر وعثمان وعلي، وعن سائر الصحابة الأكرمين.

اللهم اجعلنا بك مؤمنين، ولك عابدين، وللقرآن تالين، وفي سوره متأملين، وفي رمضان من الفائزين، وبوالدينا بارين، وارحمهم كما ربونا صغارا يا أرحم الراحمين.

اللهم احفظ دولة الإمارات بحفظك، واغمرها بفيض نعمك، وزدها من واسع فضلك، وأدم رخاءها وازدهارها، يا رب العالمين.

اللهم احفظ الشيخ محمد بن زايد رئيس الدولة بحفظك، واشمله برعايتك، واجعل عمله في طاعتك، ووفقه ونوابه وإخوانه حكام الإمارات، وولي عهده الأمين؛ لما تحبه وترضاه.

اللهم ارحم الشيخ زايد، والشيخ راشد، وشيوخ الإمارات الذين انتقلوا إلى رحمتك، وأدخلهم بفضلك فسيح جناتك، واشمل شهداء الوطن برحمتك وغفرانك.

اللهم ارحم المسلمين والمسلمات: الأحياء منهم والأموات. اللهم اسقنا الغيث ولا تجعلنا من القانطين، اللهم أغثنا، اللهم أغثنا، اللهم أغثنا.

_Surah al-Baqarah_ 🤲🏻

First Sermon (Khutbah One)

All praise is due to Allah, the One who revealed the Qur’an with the most eloquent expression and the clearest proof. We bear witness that there is nothing worthy of worship except Allah, and we bear witness that our master Muhammad is the Messenger of Allah. O Allah, send Your prayers, peace, and blessings upon him, upon his family, his companions, and all who follow his guidance in the best of ways till the Last Day.

As for what follows: I enjoin upon you, O servants of Allah, and upon myself, the consciousness (taqwa) of Allah your Lord. For taqwa is the ultimate aim of your fasting and the light of your hearts. Let us listen to the words of our Creator: يَا أَيُّهَا الَّذِينَ آمَنُوا كُتِبَ عَلَيْكُمُ الصِّيَامُ كَمَا كُتِبَ عَلَى الَّذِينَ مِنْ قَبْلِكُمْ لَعَلَّكُمْ تَتَّقُونَ

“O you who believe, fasting has been prescribed for you as it was prescribed for those before you, that you may attain taqwa.” (Qur’an 2:183)

O you who fast: we congratulate you on reaching the month of Ramadan, and we ask Allah Most High to accept from us and from you the fasting, the night prayer, and the recitation of the Qur’an.

That mighty Book—about which we reflect today in our sermon through one of its greatest surahs—is Surah al-Baqarah. Concerning it, the Messenger of Allah ﷺ said:

إِنَّ أَخْذَهَا بَرَكَةٌ، وَتَرْكَهَا حَسْرَةٌ

“Taking it (reciting and acting upon it) is a blessing, and abandoning it is a cause of regret.” (Ṣaḥīḥ Muslim)

It is the longest of the surahs in wording and among the most profound in impact. It gathers within it clear proofs that establish the pillars of faith, uphold the obligations of Islam, and lay down the foundations of religious rites and rulings. It regulates social relationships, governs financial transactions, and strengthens moral values.

Within it is Āyat al-Kursī (2:255), the greatest verse ever sent down from the heavens. Within it is the longest verse concerning debt and fulfillment of obligations (2:282). And at its conclusion are two verses that are a treasure of supplication; regarding them the Prophet ﷺ said: لَنْ تَقْرَأَ بِحَرْفٍ مِنْهُمَا ‌إِلَّا ‌أُعْطِيتَهُ

“You will not recite a single letter from them except that you will be given it.” (Ṣaḥīḥ Muslim)

It opens by pointing to the lofty rank of the Noble Qur’an. Allah, Glorified be He, says: ذَلِكَ الْكِتَابُ

“That is the Book” (Qur’an 2:2)

— An expression indicating elevation, magnification, honor, and reverence. It is a Book: لَا رَيْبَ فِيهِ هُدًى لِلْمُتَّقِينَ

“In which there is no doubt, a guidance for the God-conscious.” (Qur’an 2:2)

It calls upon mankind to obey their Lord and worship their Creator: يَا أَيُّهَا النَّاسُ اعْبُدُوا رَبَّكُمُ الَّذِي خَلَقَكُمْ وَالَّذِينَ مِنْ قَبْلِكُمْ لَعَلَّكُمْ تَتَّقُونَ

“O mankind, worship your Lord who created you and those before you, that you may attain taqwa.” (Qur’an 2:21)

It forbids them from misusing their capabilities and harming others: لَا تُفْسِدُوا فِي الْأَرْضِ

“Do not spread corruption upon the earth.” (Qur’an 2:11)

Surah al-Baqarah informs us that the first honor bestowed upon humanity was through knowledge. Through knowledge civilizations are built and ranks are elevated. When Adam, peace be upon him, informed the noble angels of the names of things, our Lord commanded them: اسْجُدُوا لِآدَمَ

“Prostrate to Adam.” (Qur’an 2:34)

—Honoring him and magnifying what Allah had placed in his heart of knowledge.

The noble surah also teaches us that persistence in error is a greater error. Adam, peace be upon him, erred but sought forgiveness, so his repentance was accepted and his mention was raised. As for Iblīs, he: أَبَى وَاسْتَكْبَرَ

“Refused and was arrogant.” (Qur’an 2:34)

Thus he incurred the wrath of his Lord and the greater punishment. A person stands between a repentance that saves him and an arrogance that destroys him. Surah al-Baqarah also clarifies:

لَا إِكْرَاهَ فِي الدِّينِ قَدْ تَبَيَّنَ الرُّشْدُ مِنَ الْغَيِّ

“There is no compulsion in religion; truth has become clear from error.” (Qur’an 2:256)

There is no faith through coercion, but through insight and choice. It is a religion of tolerance and ease—without hardship or severity. Reflect upon His saying in this noble surah:

يُرِيدُ اللَّهُ بِكُمُ الْيُسْرَ وَلَا يُرِيدُ بِكُمُ الْعُسْرَ

“Allah intends for you ease and does not intend for you hardship.” (Qur’an 2:185)

Its obligations are mercy and its commands are wisdom: لَا يُكَلِّفُ اللَّهُ نَفْسًا إِلَّا وُسْعَهَا

“Allah does not burden a soul beyond its capacity.” (Qur’an 2:286)

This is what our Prophet ﷺ confirmed when he said: إِنَّ الدِّينَ يُسْرٌ، وَلَنْ ‌يُشَادَّ ‌الدِّينَ أَحَدٌ إِلَّا غَلَبَهُ

“Indeed, the religion is ease, and no one makes the religion difficult except that it overwhelms him.” (Ṣaḥīḥ al-Bukhārī)

Whoever becomes excessively rigid narrows the paths upon himself and rarely reaches the goal. Allah Most High says: “O you who believe, obey Allah and obey the Messenger and those in authority among you.” (Qur’an 4:59). I say these words of mine and I seek forgiveness from Allah for me and for you, so seek His forgiveness.

Second Sermon (Khutbah Two)

All praise is due to Allah alone, and prayers and peace be upon the one after whom there is no prophet.

As for what follows: O you who fast: Indeed, Surah al-Baqarah has placed the family at the center of its care and concern. It established the foundations of its cohesion and stability. Families are built upon affection between spouses, and they flourish when each appreciates the other, honors his or her rights, and considers one another’s feelings.

Our Lord, Glorious and Exalted is He, says: وَلَهُنَّ مِثْلُ الَّذِي عَلَيْهِنَّ بِالْمَعْرُوفِ

“And for them (wives) is similar to what is upon them according to what is right.” (Qur’an 2:228)

This is a scale of justice and a path of excellence. By it, homes find stability and families blossom. And if discord arises, fairness must rise above conflict; neither of them should deny the virtues or past goodness of the other—in response to His saying: وَلَا تَنْسَوُا الْفَضْلَ بَيْنَكُمْ

“And do not forget graciousness between you.” (Qur’an 2:237)

Surah al-Baqarah also calls us to uphold trust and rights in all dealings. Allah Most High says: فَلْيُؤَدِّ الَّذِي اؤْتُمِنَ أَمَانَتَهُ وَلْيَتَّقِ اللَّهَ رَبَّهُ

“Let the one who is entrusted discharge his trust and let him fear Allah, his Lord.” (Qur’an 2:283)

Few words—but immense counsel. Every right that another person has over you is a trust upon your neck. Your Lord warns you not to neglect fulfilling it or to be careless in preserving it.

Reflect upon this final exhortation from the Most Merciful, revealed in the last verse sent down of the Qur’an: وَاتَّقُوا يَوْمًا تُرْجَعُونَ فِيهِ إِلَى اللَّهِ ثُمَّ تُوَفَّى كُلُّ نَفْسٍ مَا كَسَبَتْ وَهُمْ لَا يُظْلَمُونَ

“And fear a Day when you will be returned to Allah; then every soul will be fully compensated for what it earned, and they will not be wronged.” (Qur’an 2:281)

These are glimpses from the meanings of Surah al-Baqarah. So read it with perceptive hearts, reflect upon it with thoughtful minds, act upon it, and continually repeat its comprehensive supplications:

رَبَّنَا آتِنَا فِي الدُّنْيَا حَسَنَةً وَفِي الْآخِرَةِ حَسَنَةً وَقِنَا عَذَابَ النَّارِ

“Our Lord, give us in this world good and in the Hereafter good, and protect us from the punishment of the Fire.” (Qur’an 2:201)

رَبَّنَا لَا تُؤَاخِذْنَا إِنْ نَسِينَا أَوْ أَخْطَأْنَا

“Our Lord, do not take us to task if we forget or make a mistake.” (Qur’an 2:286)

Indeed, your Lord has opened for you the windows of nearness and hope, and He has invited you to increase in supplication and remain at the door of the Most Generous Giver. He says, Glorified is He: “And when My servants ask you concerning Me, indeed I am near. I respond to the call of the supplicant when he calls upon Me.” (Qur’an 2:186)

So turn to His door, seek refuge in His protection, and increase—night and day—in sending prayers and peace upon your Prophet:

O Allah, send Your prayers, peace, and blessings upon him, upon his family, and upon all his companions. O Allah, be pleased with Abu Bakr, ʿUmar, ʿUthman, and ʿAli, and with the rest of the noble Companions.

O Allah, make us believers in You, devoted to You, reciters of the Qur’an, reflectors upon its surahs, triumphant in Ramadan, dutiful to our parents—have mercy upon them as they raised us when we were small, O Most Merciful of the merciful.

O Allah, protect the United Arab Emirates with Your protection, envelop it in the abundance of Your blessings, increase it from Your vast bounty, and perpetuate its prosperity and flourishing, O Lord of the worlds.

O Allah, protect Sheikh Muhammad bin Zayed, the President of the State, with Your protection; surround him with Your care; make his work in obedience to You; grant success to him, his deputies, his brothers—the rulers of the Emirates—and his trustworthy Crown Prince in what You love and are pleased with.

O Allah, have mercy upon Sheikh Zayed, Sheikh Rashid, and the rulers of the Emirates who have passed on to Your mercy; admit them by Your grace into the vastness of Your gardens; and envelop the martyrs of the nation in Your mercy and forgiveness.

O Allah, have mercy upon the Muslim men and Muslim women, the living among them and the deceased.

O Allah, send us beneficial rain and do not make us among those who despair. O Allah, grant us rain. O Allah, grant us rain. O Allah, grant us rain.

✨*🤲🏻 في يوسف وإخوته آيات* ✨

_Indeed, in Joseph and his brothers there are signs_ 🤲🏻

*الخطبة الأولى:*
الحمد لله الذي أنزل على عبده الكتاب، وجعل في قصصه عبرة لأولي الألباب؛ سبحانه قدر المقادير فلطف، ودبر العواقب ليتعظ بها من عرف، ونشهد أن لا إله إلا الله، ونشهد أن سيدنا محمدا رسول الله، اللهم صل وسلم وبارك عليه وعلى آله وصحبه ومن اتبع هداه.

أما بعد: فأوصيكم عباد الله ونفسي بتقوى الله، والصبر في عبادته جل في علاه، فإن شهركم هذا شهر التقوى والإحسان، والصبر على طاعة الرحمن، ﴿إنه من يتق ويصبر فإن الله لا يضيع أجر المحسنين﴾.

أيها الصائمون: في شهر القرآن، نقف مع سورة من أجمل سور القرآن، افتتحت بقول الرحمن: بسم الله الرحمن الرحيم ﴿الر تلك آيات الكتاب المبين* إنا أنزلناه قرآنا عربيا لعلكم تعقلون* نحن نقص عليك أحسن القصص﴾؛ لعمق معانيها، وعجيب تصاريف قدر الله فيها، إنها سورة يوسف عليه السلام، قرأ بها ‌عمر بن الخطاب رضي الله عنه في العشاء، فسمع ‌نشيج بكائه في آخر الصفوف، وقرأ بها في الصبح فبكى حتى انقطع فركع.

تلكم يا عباد الله سورة يوسف، التي بدأت برؤيا رآها يوسف عليه السلام في منامه، فحدث بها أقرب الناس إلى قلبه، أباه الحاني العطوف، فقال له: ﴿ يا أبت إني رأيت أحد عشر كوكبا والشمس والقمر رأيتهم لي ساجدين﴾، فأجابه والده إجابة الناصح الحكيم، الذي يدرك عواقب الحسد ومداخل الشيطان، ﴿قال يا بني لا تقصص رؤياك على إخوتك فيكيدوا لك كيدا إن الشيطان للإنسان عدو مبين﴾ كيف لا؟ والشيطان هو الذي أغرى بينه وبين إخوته، فدخل بينهم بدافع الحقد والغيرة، فـ﴿قالوا ليوسف وأخوه أحب إلى أبينا منا ونحن عصبة﴾ بل قالوا متجاوزين: ﴿إن أبانا لفي ضلال مبين* اقتلوا يوسف أو اطرحوه أرضا يخل لكم وجه أبيكم وتكونوا من بعده قوما صالحين﴾ فلله العجب، ما أسوأ الحسد! سول لهم به الشيطان سوء عملهم، فصدهم عن سبيل البر بأبيهم، والرحمة بأخيهم، الذي كان أحوج ما يكون إلى عطفهم؛ إذ كان صغيرا في سنه، فاقدا لأمه، أولم يعلموا أن الله اجتباه وأتم نعمته عليه وعلى آل يعقوب ﴿إن ربك عليم حكيم﴾،

فاقطعوا أيها الإخوة بوادر الفرقة، وأحيوا المودة، وإياكم ومخاصمة إخوتكم بسبب دنيا زائلة، أو افتراضات واهية، أو أمان عابرة، أيهون عليكم تألم والديكم، وحزنهما لما يحصل من بغضاء بينكم، ألم تروا كيف كان حال سيدنا يعقوب؟ لقد تفطر قلبه ﴿وابيضت عيناه من الحزن فهو كظيم﴾ حتى ﴿قالوا تالله تفتأ تذكر يوسف حتى تكون حرضا أو تكون من الهالكين* قال إنما أشكو بثي وحزني إلى الله وأعلم من الله ما لا تعلمون﴾.

الله أكبر، ما أعظم اليقين في الله، فباليقين استودع ربه أبناءه قائلا: ﴿فالله خير حافظا وهو أرحم الراحمين﴾، فحفظ الله أبناءه، والله عز وجل «‌إذا ‌استودع ‌شيئا حفظه».

واعتصم يعقوب بحبل ربه عز وجل، وتمسك بالصبر والأمل، وقال: ﴿فصبر جميل عسى الله أن يأتيني بهم جميعا﴾، ليعلمنا أن الصبر على تربية الأولاد سر استقامتهم، وأن الأمل فيهم هو سبيل إعدادهم، فقد صبر يعقوب على فراق ابنه أربعين عاما، لقد «‌صبر، ‌فكان ‌خيرا ‌له»، إذ تعاقبت عليه الخيرات بعد صبره، ﴿والله غالب على أمره﴾،

﴿يا أيها الذين آمنوا أطيعوا الله وأطيعوا الرسول وأولي الأمر منكم﴾.

أقول قولي هذا وأستغفر الله لي ولكم فاستغفروه

أما بعد: فيا أيها المؤمنون: إن سورة يوسف سورة جامعة للعبر والحكم، مؤنسة للفؤاد مذهبة للألم والحزن، لا يسمعها ‌محزون ‌إلا ‌استراح إليها، فإنها تجدد الأمل في الله، وعدم اليأس من رحمته جل في علاه، فقد عطفت النهاية على البداية، فصورت مشهد الإخوة في أولها، وبينت كيف اجتمع شملهم في آخرها، ولم ييأس يعقوب بين ذلك، بل قال لبنيه: ﴿ولا تيأسوا من روح الله﴾، فأكرمه الله بـلم شمل يوسف بإخوته، إذ تعرفوا عليه، و﴿قالوا أإنك لأنت يوسف قال أنا يوسف وهذا أخي قد من الله علينا﴾، وجاءت يعقوب البشرى ﴿فارتد بصيرا﴾، فسبحان المدبر لكل شيء، جمع يعقوب بابنه بعد الفراق، وأبدل حزنه فرحا وسعدى: ﴿ورفع أبويه على العرش وخروا له سجدا وقال يا أبت هذا تأويل رؤياي من قبل قد جعلها ربي حقا﴾، فمهما اشتدت الخطوب، ففرج الله قريب، ولطفه عجيب، ﴿إن ربي لطيف لما يشاء إنه هو العليم الحكيم﴾.

ومهما حصل بينك وبين إخوتك من فراق وخصام، فعليك أن تقول كما قال يوسف لإخوته: ﴿لا تثريب عليكم اليوم﴾ أي: لا لوم عليكم ولا عتاب؛ فإن النفوس السامية لا تحمل الأحقاد. ذلكم عباد الله خبر يوسف، وهو «‌الكريم ‌ابن ‌الكريم ‌ابن ‌الكريم ‌ابن ‌الكريم». إنه يوسف الصديق، يوسف الأسرة، يوسف العفة، يوسف الحكمة، يوسف التدبير، يوسف العفو، فاقرؤوا سورته واعملوا بقيمها، واغرسوا حب تعلم القرآن في قلوب أبنائكم؛ ليكونوا من خير الناس منزلة عند الله؛ قال ﷺ: «خيركم من ‌تعلم ‌القرآن ‌وعلمه».
