IDF: The IDF reveals: An internal Hamas planning document detailing plans to plant explosive devices adjacent to displaced persons camps in the Gaza Strip during the war

The IDF reveals an internal document belonging to the Hamas terrorist organization detailing plans to plant explosive devices in areas of displaced persons camps in the Gaza Strip. This was part of Hamas’ preparations to protect its leadership and operatives and evacuate them from areas where the IDF was expected to operate, while endangering and exploiting the civilian population in the area, fully aware that these actions were likely to cause direct harm to civilians.

The document, written in April 2024 and now revealed for the first time, shows that Hamas' engineering department proposed planting explosive devices around displaced persons camps and detonating them as IDF troops approached, placing the civilian population in the camps at risk, in order to create panic as a smokescreen for the escape of its operatives.

In the document, the Hamas terrorist organization proposed an additional method of planting explosive devices along routes used by residents of the Gaza Strip, as part of an attempt to delay the advance of IDF troops in the area. It was even proposed to fire stun grenades into the camps to create chaos and panic, in order to allow Hamas terrorists hiding in the area to flee.

This is further evidence that the Hamas terrorist organization is willing to endanger the lives of the civilian population in the Gaza Strip in order to advance its terrorist activities.
IDF: This morning (Monday), a multi-front situational assessment on the IDF’s preparations for the election period was held, led by the Chief of the General Staff, LTG Eyal Zamir, and attended by the Head of the Operations Directorate, the Head of the Intelligence Directorate, the Commander of the Northern Command, the Commander of the Central Command, the Commander of the Southern Command, and the Commander of the Home Front Command.

At the beginning of the assessment, the Chief of the General Staff emphasized that the IDF’s mission is to enable the democratic elections to take place safely and as scheduled.

He further stressed that the IDF remains on the highest state of alert and will maintain a high level of vigilance and readiness across all fronts.

As part of the situation assessment, the Chief of the General Staff instructed several additional measures to enhance readiness:

1. A restriction on leave for IDF units will take effect this coming Thursday, subject to ongoing situational assessments.
2. The presence of senior commanders in command centers, headquarters, and units will be increased to ensure operational readiness and combat preparedness.
3. Reinforcing the Central Command with the Paratroopers Brigade Headquarters and additional forces, in order to strengthen the deployment in the area and increase the presence of soldiers on the ground. The brigade will serve as a mission-specific headquarters in the area between Samaria and Benjamin.
4. Additional soldiers will be allocated to the other fronts according to operational requirements - in the air, at sea, and on land.

There is no concern of a security incident.
Joint IDF and ISA announcement:

The IDF and ISA dismantled three Hamas weapons storage facilities across the Gaza Strip

Last Thursday, the IDF and ISA struck across the Gaza Strip and dismantled three weapons storage facilities used by Hamas' military wing.

The Hamas terrorist organization stored dozens of weapons of various types in the facilities, including RPGs, launchers, rockets, Kalashnikov rifles, and additional combat equipment.

The security forces will continue to operate in order to degrade the capabilities of terrorist organizations in the Gaza Strip and thwart any attempt to restore them or stockpile weapons intended to harm IDF troops.

Prior to the strikes, advance warnings were issued to the population, in addition to the use of precision munitions and aerial surveillance to mitigate the risk of harm to civilians.

The security forces under the Southern Command remain deployed in the area in accordance with the agreement and will continue to operate to remove any immediate threat.
IDF: The IDF reveals: Despite its statements, the Lebanese Army has failed to address a significant Hezbollah military asset in southern Lebanon

Under the 2024 understandings, which guided Israeli and Lebanese actions until Operation Roaring Lion, the Lebanese Army was responsible for acting against the presence of weapons and military infrastructure belonging to the Hezbollah terrorist organization in southern Lebanon. However, this responsibility was not fulfilled as required, allowing Hezbollah to continue entrenching itself, arming itself, and building military infrastructure in the area. Even during the Lebanese Army’s 2025 Operation Homeland Shield, a significant gap remained between statements and the reality on the ground, and the operation did not dismantle the terrorist organization’s military capabilities or prevent it from continuing its activities and buildup.

In December 2025, a military asset in the Kfarra area of southern Lebanon, which Hezbollah had used to store weapons, was referred to the Lebanese Army for handling through the U.S.-led monitoring mechanism. The Lebanese Army subsequently stated that the asset had been addressed. Several months after this statement, it was discovered that Hezbollah had continued operating at the site and had even independently removed weapons and military equipment to preserve them as part of the terrorist organization’s capabilities. Several months after the Lebanese Army had already declared that it had addressed the asset, Hezbollah was still able to use it for its own purposes.

The accompanying footage shows Hezbollah operatives loading weapons stored at the site onto a truck in an attempt to remove them and preserve them as part of the terrorist organization’s capabilities. After the activity was identified, IDF troops struck the truck carrying the weapons removed from the site. The footage indicates that, after the site was reported as having been addressed, Hezbollah activity was identified there in an attempt to remove and preserve weapons and military equipment.

The Intelligence Directorate has identified instances in which elements within the Lebanese Army coordinated with Hezbollah regarding enforcement activities. This coordination assisted efforts to prevent, delay, or thwart enforcement operations and enabled Hezbollah to prepare in advance to remove and transfer weapons from the area.

The Lebanese Army is responsible for ensuring the full and thorough implementation of all tasks assigned to it.
The IDF emphasizes that it expects the Lebanese Army to act more decisively and effectively to fulfill its responsibilities and prevent the presence of weapons and military infrastructure belonging to the Hezbollah terrorist organization in southern Lebanon.

The IDF and the Intelligence Directorate, continue to monitor Hezbollah’s attempts to rebuild and strengthen its capabilities and will not allow any violation that poses a threat to the State of Israel and its civilians.

The Hezbollah terrorist organization dragged Lebanon and its residents into a war in service of Iran during Operation Roaring Lion, launching thousands of rockets, including from areas south of the Litani River, where no armed elements, assets, or weapons belonging to anyone other than the Lebanese government or UNIFIL should be present.

The IDF and ISA eliminated a senior official in the Hamas terrorist organization’s General Security Mechanism in the Gaza Strip

Earlier today (Tuesday), the IDF and ISA, guided by intelligence, struck in the Gaza City area and eliminated Akram Bassam Shaaban Yassin, a senior official in the Hamas terrorist organization’s General Security Mechanism in the Gaza Strip.

The General Security Mechanism is a central, covert Hamas apparatus responsible for protecting senior Hamas officials. Its senior officials are responsible for securing and transporting Hamas leaders between emergency facilities and compiling intelligence assessments, including intelligence on security forces, to support the organization’s leadership in decision-making and carrying out terrorist attack plans against Israel.

This elimination follows an IDF strikes four months ago in which senior officials in the Hamas terrorist organization’s General Security Mechanism were eliminated. Yassin’s elimination is part of a series of targeted eliminations in the Gaza Strip intended to weaken the General Security Mechanism in the Gaza Strip.

Recently, the terrorist advanced terror attacks against IDF troops and Israeli civilians and attempted to restore Hamas’ military capabilities, in systematic violation of the ceasefire. The terrorist was eliminated in an aerial strike to remove the threat.

Prior to the strike, measures were taken to mitigate harm to civilians, including the use of precision munitions and aerial surveillance.

The security forces under the Southern Command remain deployed in the area in accordance with the agreement and will continue to operate to remove any immediate threat.

Joint IDF and ISA announcement:

The IDF and ISA eliminated a Hamas Nukhba terrorist who took part in planning the explosive device attack in which four IDF soldiers from the 52nd Battalion’s tank crew were killed

Earlier this week (Sunday), the IDF and ISA eliminated the terrorist Musa Abd Muhammad Hamouda in an airstrike in the Gaza City area. Hamouda was a Nukhba terrorist in Hamas' military wing and took part in planning the explosive device attack that killed four soldiers from the 52nd Battalion’s tank crew on September 8, 2025. The soldiers killed in the incident were Lieutenant Matan Abramovitz, Sergeant Amit Aryeh Regev, Staff Sergeant Uri Lemad, and Sergeant Gadi Cotal.

His elimination marks a significant milestone for the 162nd Division in holding accountable those responsible for the deaths of its soldiers. The soldiers fell while serving under the division’s command during Operation Gideon’s Chariots, and the 215th Fire Brigade, which operates under the division, has now eliminated the terrorist responsible for their deaths.

Throughout the war, the terrorist repeatedly carried out terrorist activity against IDF troops in the Gaza Strip and targeted IDF troops.

Recently, Hamouda advanced terror attacks against IDF troops and Israeli civilians and operated to restore the terrorist organization’s military capabilities, in systematic violation of the ceasefire. The terrorist was eliminated in an aerial strike to remove the threat he posed.

Prior to the strike, steps were taken to mitigate harm to civilians, including the use of precision munitions and aerial surveillance.

The security forces under the Southern Command remain deployed in the area in accordance with the agreement and will continue to operate to remove any threat.
IDF: Earlier today (Wednesday), a number of harvesters, accompanied by dozens of individuals, arrived to conduct an uncoordinated olive harvest in an area near Beitar Illit. Harvesting in this area requires a request to be submitted to the relevant authorities in advance of the start of the olive harvest season. This coordination is necessary to ensure the security of the area and maintain public order.

Due to the security risk posed by conducting an uncoordinated harvest near an Israeli community, IDF soldiers, Border Police forces in Judea and Samaria, and officers from the Judea and Samaria District Police arrived at the scene and detained those present.

The landowner was informed that he must coordinate the olive harvest on his plot of land and was provided with the relevant contact information to arrange a harvest at a later date.

It should be emphasized that authorized olive harvests have taken place and continue to take place. To date, approximately 100 coordinated harvests have been conducted across Judea and Samaria, yielding many dozens of tons of produce, with security provided and coordination by the security forces, without any unusual incidents.

In areas designated for coordinated harvesting, only harvesters will be permitted to enter, solely for the purpose of harvesting.

As in previous years, security forces are working to facilitate a safe and orderly olive harvest season, with a firm commitment to enabling harvesting without unusual incidents or interruptions, alongside their ongoing defensive and counterterrorism missions.
