In one of the materials, a photograph was attached, signed as “Ukrainian soldiers carry the body of 41-year-old Colonel Pistun Yaroslav Nikolayevich during his funeral in Bucha on August 6.” In the obituaries, a person with such a full name was not found, but this name and surname is the deputy commander of the Sever operational-tactical group of troops, the head of the moral and psychological support group, Colonel Yaroslav Pistun.
The exact date and location of death is unknown, but the colonel died somewhere in late July or early August.
