According to the FSB, in a rented apartment, the detainee, under the supervision of a specialist - an explosives engineer of the Ukrainian special services, "assembled an improvised explosive device (IED) and checked its initiation channel."
“Further on, I conducted reconnaissance at one of the warehouses of a transport and logistics company in order to plant an IED and carry out a high-power explosion. During the investigation, an explosive device made by him on the basis of the warhead of an anti-tank guided missile, weighing about 3 kg in TNT equivalent, was seized from the attacker, as well as means of communication to maintain contact with the SBU officers," the FSB said.
