از قلبی تبدار و دردی التیامنیافته، برای جوانانِ وطن گریه کردم؛ برای جوانانی که شاید خیلی از آنها همان دخترِ خودم بودند.
برای ایرانِ سوگوارم…
برای تکتکِ قلبهای مادرانِ داغدار، پریشانم…
برای جوانهای آرزو به دل مانده، عزادارم…
همدردی و تسلیت مرا بپذیرید؛ اگرچه کمی دیر، اما با روحی سرشار از اندوه و دلی دلگیر، همدردتان هستم.
برای تسلای شما دعا میکنم؛ درهای آسمان باز است و خدا مهربان است.»

“As time passes, we tell ourselves the grief has faded and the wound has healed,
but then, suddenly, the wailing of thousands of other mothers brings news of new separations, and the sorrow becomes fresh again.
With a fevered heart and a pain that has not healed, I wept for the youth of our homeland, many of whom could have been my own daughter.
I mourn for a grieving Iran.
I am shattered for every mother’s wounded heart.
I mourn for young people whose dreams were left unfulfilled.
Please accept my sympathy and condolences. Even if it comes late, I stand with you, full of sorrow and heavy-hearted.
I pray to bring you comfort: the gates of heaven are open, and God is merciful.”

«Avec le temps, on se dit que le deuil s’est estompé et que la blessure s’est refermée…
Mais soudain, les sanglots de milliers d’autres mères annoncent d’autres séparations, et la douleur redevient vive.
Avec un cœur brûlant et une souffrance qui ne s’apaise pas, j’ai pleuré pour la jeunesse de notre pays, pour ces jeunes qui, pour beaucoup, auraient pu être ma propre fille.
Je pleure un Iran en deuil.
Je suis bouleversée pour chaque cœur de mère endeuillée.
Je porte le deuil de ces jeunes dont les rêves sont restés inachevés.
Recevez ma compassion et mes condoléances. Même si c’est un peu tard, je suis à vos côtés, l’âme remplie de tristesse et le cœur lourd.
