CALIFORNIA FRAUD EXPOSED: Skid Row petitioner panics after our undercover journalist catches him exchanging cigarettes for signatures.

For years, petitioners have been targeting the homeless on Skid Row, offering bribes such as cigarettes or cash in exchange for signing petitions that can change California law. They’ve also been registering the homeless to vote, oftentimes instructing them to use fraudulent information.

Not only is this illegal per California election law, but Savanah Hernandez is the 4th journalist in the latest string of independent journalists catching this organized criminal activity on the streets of Skid Row.

Back in 2018, the Los Angeles County District Attorney charged nine individuals with felony election crimes for running the exact same operation yet petitioners are still running the scheme every single day.

This is part of an ongoing investigative series in collaboration with Citizen Justice League and James O'Keefe, exposing just how easily the California voting system can be exploited and defrauded.

My team, myself & Cam Higby were just violently assaulted on Skid Row, my camera crew were punched in the neck and face, we were pepper sprayed, but thankfully just escaped. Some members of our team had to run 10 blocks to get out.

Foreigner Named in Swiss Criminal Complaints Caught Promoting California Ballot Petition Fraud

In Los Angeles, we investigated the company Urban Signers, which specializes in circulating ballot petitions.

The man who owns Urban Signers, Franck Tessemo, was previously named in Swiss criminal complaints for alleged ballot petition fraud in Switzerland.

In a job interview with Urban Signers, we caught Franck on hidden camera suggesting to us that it is “okay” to give cigarettes in exchange for ballot petition signatures.

Giving incentives for a signature on a ballot initiative is a misdemeanor crime in California. We are calling on city and state authorities to promptly investigate this matter.
