The Scottish Sun are writing an article about PA Scotland's Kriss Donald memorial and demo. They collected a load of quotes from people who said it was offensive and then asked us for a statement on these quotes. This is what we sent them. Let's see what they…
What they actually printed…

Anybody reading this article can see that the author is full of emotion and is incredibly over-dramatic and effeminate in his writing. They go too far and in doing so, let the public know that they’re emotionally invested and can’t be trusted.
We’re not people, we’re a “mob of fanatics”
We didn’t walk, we “flocked”
Si didn’t give a speech, he gave a “rant”
It’s not a memorial, it’s a “mock memorial”
It reads like a GCSE-level crime novel, not a piece of legitimate news reporting. Keep them coming!

The Scottish Sun has printed a supposed ‘hit-piece’ about our recent work. As usual, the language they use only highlights their hate for those who love our people. We gave them the statement below on request and you can see how they have edited it from the…

Hey Chris Taylor, were the protests and memorials for George Floyd and Stephen Lawrence “disgusting” too?

Look at the response from black people when one black girl is strip-searched by the police. Hundreds of people (including an MP) march through the streets in protest. I'm not saying this is wrong. They're defending one of their own. I only wish more of our people would do the same.

Child Q: Diane Abbott joins hundreds of protesters in march for schoolgirl, 15, strip-searched while on period
MP Diane Abbott called for "some sort of sanction on the police officers" during the march in London, after the 15-year-old black schoolgirl, known as Child Q, was strip-searched while on her period.

Vaccinated people are far more likely to support starting WW3 against Russia than unvaccinated people.
The COVID vaccine fight was not about liberal risk aversion vs well informed dissenters. It was fans of the Current Thing vs people who will never do The Current Thing, not much else went into it.
This thinking can take you to some dumb places on both sides, but when it comes to foreign policy, the "Do Opposite of Current Thing" crowd is always going to be inadvertently right.
