I just wanted to say thank you for all the support that’s been directed towards me and Sam. I don’t feel like I’ve shown my appreciation over the last couple of weeks because I’ve been so focused on the trial, but we’ve both appreciated the messages and the support of the people who turned up to court. I’m happy to see that the vast majority of messages across various social media platforms are on Sam’s side.
It’s a weird feeling right now because I thought if Sam got guilty we’d both feel devastated but we both just feel relieved that it’s over. The worst part has been the feeling of being in limbo as this is something that’s been ongoing for almost three years. Now that has gone the weight has lifted. If Sam gets a custodial sentence, we deal with it. If he doesn’t, life continues.
When you have a clear conscience over your actions and words and you know that you have told the truth and done no wrong, when bad things happen, it’s almost like you’re invincible to them even though it’s you that has to deal with the consequences. I don’t even know if that makes sense because I’m tired but I guess I’m trying to say the decisions of others are not a reflection on us but a reflection on them. I know we will sleep well tonight.

Guys, I just want to clarify something about Sam’s guilty verdict. It was not the decision of a judge, it was the decision of a jury. The judge had no say over whether Sam was found guilty or innocent. It was completely up to 12 members of the public.
The case was brought forward by Counter Terrorism who ultimately failed to find any terrorism and fell back on a public order offence for stickers. Sam’s trial over the last two weeks was for that public order offence.
I am allowed to share this information as it’s just the facts of the case but I’ll hold off on sharing my personal opinions about the case and trial for now.

Lets compare and contrast how the British tabloids talk about a foreign triple murderer who killed British people vs. how they talk about a non-violent family man who quoted objectively provable statistics a bit too loudly

Answering two more questions a few people have asked:
Will Sam appeal his verdict?
You can’t appeal a jury verdict just because you don’t like the decision. You have to have grounds for an appeal, such as mistakes or bias made by the judge. Sam’s result lies entirely on the 12 members of the jury who decided he was guilty.
You can appeal the sentence if you believe an error was made there, but we haven’t reached sentencing yet.
Does this set a precedent for what we’re allowed to talk about?
No this was made very clear to us. The messages on the stickers are legal, the “illegal” act was Sam’s intentions when setting up the Hundred Handers project as a whole.

Feel a bit awkward talking about this but yesterday evening Mark Collett set up a GiveSendGo to send me, Sam and our daughter away for a few days before Sam’s sentencing in March. The Golden One also shared a link to our tea shop, encouraging people to support us through that. I am just absolutely blown away by the response. The GiveSendGo has reached a figure that is truly a life changing amount for us, and we have almost sold out of products on our website. We just feel so humbled and lucky to have such an amazing community around us, not just in Britain but abroad too. We will wait and see what the verdict is in March before deciding what to do with it as if Sam goes down it will help out a lot. Thank you 🤍

I’ve been advised not to publicly post anything relating to the trial or result prior to sentencing but I will say this;
The outpouring of support and shared grievance has been incredibly touching, I’ve read every message and comment and many have brought a tear to my eye.
I love you all and can only hope I’ve done you proud.
If you can keep your wits about you while all others are losing theirs, and blaming you. The world will be yours and everything in it, what's more, you'll be a man, my son. - Rudyard Kipling

Fair play. We don’t like some of his politics either but at least Tommy had the balls to say something about Sam’s case, unlike almost every other big name out there.

The more that time passes from Wednesday, the angrier I become and the more I want to shout from the rooftops about what happened in that court room. But I know the best thing I can do for Sam is to bite my tongue and stay quiet, as I don’t want to say something I wasn’t allowed to and jeopardise anything. But rest assured that once it’s over, I will tell you everything, and any avenue that can be pursued will be.

So great to attend a demo with 40+ PA activists and to receive constant cheers and beeps from passers by! A reminder that the issues we highlight are shared by many members of the public, no matter how much our opposition try to convince us otherwise.

Free speech activists are the lamest bunch of people. Constant stunning and brave posts about there only being two genders while a British man is literally being convicted of his thoughts behind telling the truth on legal stickers.

A few days ago Tommy Robinson posted about Sam’s conviction and I highlighted that he’d done that and said “fair play” instead of attacking him. Why did I do this? Because Tommy Robinson has over 400k followers on Twitter that have now seen Sam’s story, and that’s a good thing. We are stuck on the arse end of the internet unable to reach these people. It doesn’t matter that I disagree with him on many things, or that he attacked some of our activists at Telford or that he supports Israel, that isn’t what the conversation is about right now. I want more people to post about Sam’s story, and if I act like a child and attack them each time they do it and question their motives, nobody else else will follow.
The correct response when somebody does something that benefits you isn’t to whinge at that person, it’s to acknowledge that it’s a good thing and then push for more from that person and from other people.

That’s my book, and I testified in court that it was my book, and the CPS know that.
Also very telling that they don’t share any of the stickers in their report.
