81-year-old Ohio man William Brock charged with murder after shooting and killing an Uber driver who he thought was trying to scam him.
61-year-old Loletha Hall is dead after Brock thought she was a phone scammer.
According to the Clark County Sheriff’s Office, Brock had gotten a call from a scammer before the incident.
"Mr. Brock received some scam call by a person purporting to be someone from our courts who informed him a family member was incarcerated and that he had a bond of a significant amount of money," Lt. Kristopher Shultz said.
"The calls turned from 'I'm an officer in the court' to 'We have this subject hostage, this is a ransom demand."
The scammer then requested an Uber ride to Brock's home to pick up money. Hall, who had no clue what was going on, approached the front door and was met by Brock who shot and killed her.
Brock was indicted on 3 counts of murder, 1 count of felonious assault and one count of kidnapping.

7 women arrested after a police officer was punched and kicked while he was on the ground during a huge Brawl outside a South Carolina bar.
According to the GCPD, the women attempted to escape. The officer deployed his taser but suffered a medical emergency and collapsed.

3 innocent bystanders shot during a gas station shootout in Atlanta, Georgia.
According to police, two groups of people started shooting at each other in the parking lot.
None of the people who were shot had any connection to the two groups.
One witness called the shooting "like an old, cowyboy-style shooting."

All the bystanders survived.
Police have since arrested 34-year-old Darius Morris. He was charged with three counts of aggravated assault. It's unknown if other suspects have been identified.

Teacher Julious Johnican is accused of organizing a fight club in class with 7-year-olds.
In the video, a student can be seen beating up another student with special needs. The "fight club" reportedly went on for months in the 2nd grade classroom.
The student in the lawsuit, identified as O.D., was "physically assaulted" and was held down by Johnican as he was beaten.
