The high school student who beat his teacher unconscious for taking his Nintendo Switch is suing the school district, blaming them for the attack.

Lawyers for Brendan Depa say the school district is responsible for ruining Depa’s life.

“The district should be held to account for its failures which have forever changed the trajectory of this young man’s life,” they argued.

The lawyers said that the special needs program should have known that taking electronics from Depa was a ‘trigger.’

The teacher who Depa assaulted suffered broken ribs and a concussion.

Depa is facing 30 years in prison and is set to be sentenced on May 1.

Cal Poly Humboldt campus *closes* through the end of the semester as students have seized multiple buildings on campus.

Siemens Hall and Nelson Hall East have been barricaded and taken over by pro-Palestine protesters.

The buildings are completely trashed with graffiti plastered all over the walls and have been under the control of the protesters for 5 days now.

One building is now named “Intifada Hall.”

"The occupation of Siemens Hall and Nelson Hall East is causing ongoing inability to open other campus facilities," the school said.

"Since Monday night, protestors have attempted several times to break into multiple locked buildings with the intention of either locking themselves in, vandalizing, or stealing equipment. Vandalism and theft have continued across campus."

Anthony Vella, 33, suffered a broken neck, back, and pelvis and a shattered right arm when his paramotor flipped over and plummeted into the desert at 48mph. Vella, was testing a BGD Luna 3 in the Enchanted Rock State Park, northwest of Austin, when it suddenly collapsed 85 to 100ft in the air. California doctor drove his Tesla with his family inside off a 250 foot cliff because he thought his kids would be s*x trafficked.

Dharmesh Patel had a psychotic episode causing him to launch his car off a cliff according to new expert witnesses.

Patel was driving on the Pacific Coast Highway when he suddenly whipped the car off the road.

Miraculously, he, his wife and his two children, 4 and 7 survived.

Psychologist Dr. Mark Patterson said Patel suffered from psychosis which peaked before the incident. He said Patel heard footsteps following him.

Patel’s wife initially told investigators that he was depressed and that he wanted to drive his car off the cliff.

Patel is seeking mental health diversion which would release him from jail and put him on a treatment plan for two years.

Assuming he doesn’t commit any other crimes, the charges would be dropped.

Scavengers got out of an overturned garbage truck in front of eyewitnesses in Brazil.

New York District Attorney Sandra Doorley runs from the police after an officer tried pulling her over, says she should get special treatment because she is the DA.

Doorley said she "didn't feel like stopping" because she was "stressed" with murder cases.

The Corrupt Karen was driving 55 mph in a 35 mph zone and didn't pull over when police tried stopping her.

The DA went all the way to her home and called the police chief when the officer confronted her.

She tried arguing that she shouldn't be pulled over because she was driving a "black SUV."

The Monroe County DA later apologized for the incident but said she has "dedicated my entire 33-year career to the safety of this community."
