🇺🇸 Just another day on the #Brooklyn Bridge? Last week, members of Emergency Service Unit scaled the Brooklyn Bridge to rescue a woman (about 30 years old) in distress. It took training, skill, and, importantly, compassion.

An NYPD officer rescued a woman, preventing her from jumping off the Brooklyn Bridge, on just his 3rd day with the department’s elite Emergency Service Unit. Officer Cristian Yepes spent about an hour negotiating with the woman roughly 200 feet above the East River before safely bringing her down. The police confirm she faces no criminal charges.
