🇺🇸 Free climber has to be rescued from the side of a cliff by firefighters in #Georgia.

The unidentified climber was scaling Mount Yonah, a 3,166-foot mountain ridge in the Chattahoochee-Oconee National Forest in North Georgia. White County firefighter Will Roper rappelled down the cliffside and rescued the man.

- “I’ve done a lot with dummies and a lot with other firefighters in training, but that’s the first time that I’ve ever done it, kind of in the heat of the moment with a live subject… It was a little nerve-racking going over the edge.”

🇺🇸 Far-right activist Jake Lang showed up outside of Plymouth Superior Court as the jury in the Lindsay Clancy murder trial deliberated on Friday.

🇬🇧 #London. New footage shows the moment the bus came off the mini roundabout in Hayes, clipping a man crossing the road before going into the building. Somehow, the man got up and walked away. The bus carried on across the pavement and didn’t stop until it hit the wall outside the station.

One account from the scene says the driver’s brakes failed and he steered trying to avoid people in the road. That’s still unverified, and there’s no official word yet on the cause or on any injuries.
