🇺🇸 A tense exchange unfolded at a #NewJersey town hall when Mayor Matthew Bianchini charged at a vocal critic and had to be physically restrained. In a statement posted on Facebook, the Pemberton Township Democratic Club said the town “deserves to have leaders in place who are able to stay composed and professional [and] treat community members and each other with respect.”
——
“Bianchini and members of his family told WPVI that Sawka and another resident made rude comments toward the mayor's wife and daughter, who were seated in the room. Sawka can be seen gesturing toward the back of the room before making an obscene gesture toward Bianchini, shortly before the mayor charged at him”
