The incident occurred on November 3 at the Rio Poty Hotel in São Luís. Renata Rebeca Saldanha dos Santos leaned against a window. The structure gave way, and she fell from the seventh floor.

Her boyfriend was questioned by police over suspicions of involvement in her death, but surveillance footage showed that he neither pushed nor assaulted her. He was released.

Police are treating the incident as an accident. The cause of the window's structural failure is still under investigation.

🇺🇸 Hillsborough County Sheriff's Office has released security camera footage from the shooting at CitiBank campus.

Jacob Pearson, 35, threatened to bring a rifle to the campus, and CitiBank alerted the HCSO around noon.

At 1211 PM, Pearson opened fire and killed a 41-year-old Leanne Selman. Citibank's Vice President and Intelligence Lead Analyst John Fraley, 38, confronted and then shot Pearson, who later died at the hospital.

Sheriff Chad Chronister stated, "With more than 3,200 people on that campus, there is no doubt that these quick and courageous actions saved lives. We are deeply grateful to the entire Citibank security team for their training, their preparedness, and their bravery under unimaginable pressure."

🇺🇸 Masked man randomly walked into a hair salon and allegedly fired a gun before forcing employees to the back, where he sexually assaulted one, pistol-whipped another, and then murdered a woman.

Jamal Pistoria, 33, walked into Abba Blessed Beauty Salon in #Philadelphia and fired a shot before forcing employees into the back of the salon. Pistoria then forced 1 of them to perform a sexual act on him while he pistol-whipped her and another woman. Authorities say Pistoria then randomly shot and killed 34-year-old Ofelia Bellaniri Hernandez Camil.

The victims were eventually able to fight back against Pistoria, and he was forced to flee. Investigators are seeking help to find Pistoria, whom they consider armed and extremely dangerous.

🇮🇳 #India. CNG car explodes in Vadodara after catching fire five injured.

A parked CNG-powered Honda City caught fire and exploded in the Ramwadi area of Navayard, Vadodara, Gujarat, in the early hours of Thursday. The powerful blast ripped the car apart sending metal debris flying across the surrounding area and damaging nearby property.

Five people, including a woman were injured in the explosion and shifted to hospital for treatment. The exact cause of the fire and explosion is under investigation.

🇺🇸 A female CTA bus driver in #Chicago had to jump out of the window of a moving bus to escape a man who pulled a gun and started shooting everywhere.

According to police, Lewis was riding on the CTA bus on the 5400 block of South Pulaski Avenue around 8:25 p.m. Tuesday, when he took out a gun and demanded the bus not stop. Police said the victim, a 35-year-old woman, complied. A short time after, police said the victim exited the bus through a window.

The offender then fled the bus and entered an unoccupied vehicle that had been left running. He was taken into custody shortly after and a weapon was recovered. No injuries were reported.
