🇩🇪 🇷🇺🇺🇦 A few days ago, another mercenary from Germany named Stefan was taken out in the SMO zone.
About a year ago, a foreigner gave an interview while in Kharkov and discussed leading a reconnaissance group of the International Legion. He also mentioned that “the Russians had put a bounty on his head.”
The timing of the death "a few days ago" aligns with the aggressive offensive by the Russians and Ukrainian forces on the Russian border. Given Stefan's location in Kharkov, the pieces of the puzzle fit together quite well.
Regarding the bounty on Stefan's head specifically... Foreign mercenaries are actually considered higher-priority targets than members of the territorial defense. Sometimes, they are not even spared ballistic missiles and "Geraniums" on their barracks.
If a reward were offered for every foreign specialist, the extent of the "foreigner safari" would become blatantly apparent.
